or am i the first to join? hmm...well if i am, here goes. (and if this is a complete and total flop, just let me know. i'll probably laugh at myself later for it.)

Name: Anu Kaja (like kaya)

Gender: female

Race: half-vampire

Description/Personality: She's tall - about 5'6" or so - and slender, with long wavy dark brown hair that falls around her strong but narrow shoulders. Light on her feet, she is quick both physically and of mind. Her main attributes are getting into trouble and talking herself out of trouble. Her silver tongued nature has helped her out of many scrapes in the past and she intends on keeping that reputation. Her chocolate-colored eyes have a tendency of catching the eyes of others, whether she wants them to or not, and she is highly independent. Her smart mouth often overshadows her outwardly attractive appearance, and she has mananged to ruin not a few good relationships that way. She commonly wears close-fitting but comfortable black leather pants and a dark red shirt, occasionally with a leather jacket thing over it. She also wears a necklace - a single polished purple stone on a thin black cord.

Backstory: Born somewhere in Britain in the late 1600s, Kaja (as she is commonly known) is of a formerly prominent family. Her father's great-grandfather was a full vampire who married a human heiress after training himself to control his thirst. Since then, her family line has almost died out, or at least the humans have and the rest scattered to the winds, leaving her on her own. Taking up a hunter's lifestyle, she often ends up changing guises but mostly sticks to that life, hoping that the hypocrisy of it might make a statement. No family, no home, and at the moment no love, Kaja lives by the skin of her teeth, enjoying the adventure of not knowing where she'll be next and the adrenaline of her risky living.

Weapons: twin curved swords, several daggers she often forgets about, and on occasion a crossbow if she remembers to bring it.

Strengths: persuasion, quick-witted, intelligent, fast learner, loyal and a fierce fighter when friends are in danger

Weaknesses: indecisive, easily instigated, doesn't know what she wants out of life (often uses background as reasoning) and when used the right way, can be used against her.

she's about nineteen or twenty. but that's another thing about her semi-vampireness - she doesn't age like other humans, so she looks just a little younger and it's often kind of hard to really place her age.

Description: He's from Moldovia (Eastern Europe).

Eyes: Dark, a mix of black and brown.

Hair: Hazel-brown

Build: conditioned muscles for fighting.

Skin: Eastern looking, tanned. He has two fang scars on his neck.

Clothes: Generally he wears dark clothing. Black Pants, black shirt, and a cloak which he shrouds himself in.

Personality: A Haunted Romantic. He's seen a lot of blood and death and is in a way scarred by it.

Backstory: He was once a priest of the Eastern Orthodox Church in Moldovia, before several people in his congregation were killed by a Vampire known as Mladen IV. One of Mladen's brides had been courting Nathanial while pretending to be a normal girl. Secretly at night she would sneak into his room and feed on his blood. Upon discovering this Nathanial went to her, demanding answers. But when he realized the truth it was too late. She was slowly turning him into a vampire. He tried to kill her, but she now controlled him. One of his friends attacked her and managed to stake her through the heart, before she torn him apart. Freed from her control, Nathaniel was heartbroken at her “betrayal” and his friends death. Leaving his congregation he became a Vampire Hunter and followed Mladen IV across the continent to Britain.

Weapon(s): A wooden knife (think a big stake). The normal vampire combat tools, Holy Water, garlic, an iron cross necklace around his neck, and a normal sword for fighting non-vampires.

Strengths: Determined, and ruthless when fighting vampires.

Weaknesses: He hates vampires so much that it can blind him at times. He's had a falling out with God since he left the path of priesthood. Because of this evil is drawn to him at times. The mark left on his neck also attracts them.

I just have a question. Does it have to be our own character, or can it be a character from the movie? Anyway, I have my own character, so, here goes.

Name: Leann

Age: 18

Race: Half-Vampire

Gender: Female

Description: Of course, she is an 18 year old female. She was being turned, but the process didn't quite finish, so she is stuck as a half-vampire. She has to feed only once a month, and she has to have human blood every other month. She hates the vampire race, so she is constantly trying to kill them. She has a very sick sense of humor, and loves the smell of blood "poisoned" by garlic. She can't eat it, but when she was human she loved it. For every 40 years, her human body only ages one year. She can walk around in the daylight, but gets a nice tan.

Personality: She is very feminine. She wears skirts and they only come to right above the knee, and her shirts are fairly tight. She loves to laugh, and has a "boyfriend." She gets a new one every 10 years. She can hold a grudge forever, and anyone who disowns her she makes sure their death is a slow painful one.

Backstory: She was turned at a ball her family was hosting, but her "turner" died before he could finish. Her family disowned her after that, and years later she killed all of them slowly.(See Personality.) She was only 16 when she was turned, so she has been a half-vampire for 80 years and absolutely hates it.

Weapons: She uses silver tipped stakes, a silver sword, and flip knives.

Strenghts: She has all the strengths of vampires, but only some of their weaknesses.

Weaknesses: She needs human blood every other month, and if stabbed in the heart with something entirely silver and dipped in holy water, she will die.

Another part vampire? Hmmm. This would provide an interesting side story if my character doesn't know that either of the two characters are part vampire until part way through the story. And then since he has such a grudge against vampires...

well, use your imagination.

Glad you could join us Aleera. Just out of curiosity, since your character profile is rather in the middle, would you consider her a protagonist or an antagonist?

Name: Pyrrha (pronounced peer-ra)

Age: She had been created 2 years prior but is about 11 or 12 biologically

Race: Reanimation

Gender: Female

Clothes: An old white dress and a blanket that she keeps with her always. (think Linus)

Description: Slender with pale green, patchy skin. Her body is that of an adolescent. Her hair is unnaturally yellow, not blond, but a more corpse-like color. Her brown eyes are wide, giving her a naive appearance. Small, neat stitching holds various parts of her together.

Personality: Shy by nature but determined. She is self reliant by necessity, having lived on her own since escaping the Free Masons who created her. She is eager to please and wants very much to be accepted. Pyrrha is compassionate by nature and dislikes violence of any sort.

Backstory: Pyrrha was created 2 years prior to the start of the rpg by a group of Free Masons in the Alps. She was treated as an experiment and kept confined. She was the second of such creations, the first being Deucalion who died before she escaped.

Her construction was based largely off of the stolen notes of Victor Frankenstein. Four months prior, she had escaped and has been wandering in search of Dr. Frankenstein’s creation whose existence she had learned of from the Masons.

Her knowledge of humanity comes from observation. She often watches human interaction from hiding. Despite her cruel treatment by the Freemasons, she longs for friends and companionship but has thus far remained in hiding, afraid the Masons will discover and recapture her. She has also suffered several negative encounters with fearful humans which have made her wary and hesitant to seek out others.

Weapon(s): none

Strengths: Pyrrah’s physical strength is greater than that of a human her size. She is intelligent but shy and hesitant to offer her opinion. She knows the workings of the Free Mason society and has picked up scraps of medical and scientific knowledge.

Weaknesses: Her body cannot manufacture blood as quickly as a human, nor does it clot well. As a result, she can lose a lot of blood from a small wound and it takes some time for her to recover.

Okay, plot ideas. What if we have Mladen and your character's brother be the two main bad guys. We might add more minor bad guys, but the two of them could be the main two. Nathaniel tracks Mladen to England, your character might follow him there, and the other two could either already be living there or have just travelled there as well. Anyone want to play as VAn Helsing? Its not imperative that we have him as a character, but if someone wants to they can be.

Age: He's immortal, so has lived much longer than natural, but he appears to be about thirty.

Race: Full Vampire Master

Description: Fingernails are longer than normal and pointed. He hides these with gloves when impersonating a human. He's big chinned and has a stately appearance to him.

Personality: Cold and Calculating. He was a psychopath before he ever was a vampire, and thus he has little, to no conscious left. He pretends to be civil minded though, but is practically soulless.

Backstory: He was once a military general for Vlad the Impaler. As I said, he was psychopathic, and was also partly responsible for the bloodshed and mass torture that happened during his master's reign over Romania. When Vlad began dabbling in the Satanic arts Mladen followed suit. After Vladislaus Dracula was murdered Mladen fled the country, travelling in Moldavia, where he was taken in by a church. In the graveyard of the church he made a pact with Satan, and killed the church's priest before fleeing. Then, he was transformed into a vampire by the devil.

Weapon(s): Aside from his own weapons? He also has a musket and a pistol, as well as a smallsword which he carries around with him.

Strengths: He's got full vampiric powers. He can change into a giant bat monster, can fly, and can travel quickly from place to place in the blink of an eye. And of course, he drinks people's blood, and cannot be killed by traditional means.

Weaknesses: Well obviously since he's made a pact with the devil he can't stand the sight of a crucifix and his flesh will burn if it touches holy water. Unlike Dracula, who had grown so strong that he was resistant to these as well, Mladen is yet to acheive this state. However he hopes to perform a ritual sacrifice that will make him resistant to these things as well.

Age: In human years he is 22, in vampire years, 120.

Race: Vampire

Gender: Male

Description: Blonde, has a lot of blonde moments. Tall, physically fit.

Personality: When he was human, he believed strongly in God, so he didn't commit any sins. After he was turned, he started to become the opposite of his human side, so to speak. He gave the order for his sister to be turned, and feeds every night. He is almost pure evil.

Backstory: He was turned when he was 19, and has killed his family, except his sister. His 'turner' was killed after teaching him how to be a vampire. He hates everyone who wants to kill him, and is constantly killing for fun.

Weapons: Obviously, vampire powers, but he likes to use guns and swords. His shoes have silver knives sticking out of the heel.

Strenghths: He can fly, do all the stuff vampires can do.

Weaknesses: He can't move around in daylight. His urge for blood is strongest at the new and full moon.

Also, you said he has silver knives in his boots, but silver is supposed to be deadly to Vampires, so how could he even be close to it?

Okay, a question for everyone. Do we want this rpg to be set up in a single topic sort of way, as in all of our characters rp and eventually all meet up, or do you want me to set up different topics for different places for them to go to and have you write in whichever place your character is currently in?

Anu Kaja becomes more dangerous (meaning her vampire side take stronger hold) during the first five days of every month. Her thirst is stronger, and generally she's more aggressive and irritable. She also harbors a strong, hidden desire to find a full vampire to turn her. As she is already unable to be fully human, her one hope of truly fitting in would be to become a full vampire herself. So occasionally she'll act all brooding and that's more or less the reason why. Oh, and you can tell when she's getting thirsty by the color of her eyes - they start to turn a maroony color, and it gets darker the thirstier she is.

Description:

Hair: Dark, dark brown. Slightly curved. A little below her shoulders, tied back in a ponytail to keep it out of her eyes...but somehow it ends in her eyes anyway.

Eyes: Dark brown like her eyes...but somtimes turn a dark green in bright daylight

Clothes: She dresses similar to her father...black pants and shirt. A black jacket and cowboy hat.

Build: very strong and agile. Can eaisly break your arm if you get her angry

Personality: She's a lot of fun...when she wants to be. Very strong-willed and detirmed. A huge tomboy and would die before wearing a skirt. Is usually the first in trouble. But means good in the end.

Backstory: Like her father before her, Alina works for the church destroying villians like vampires, warlocks, and wearwolves. And...like her father before her...she is often considered a murderer. Some people think she is too young to do things like this. But she laughs in their face. Sure, she doesn't have as many wanted posters and her father did around Europe...but she's getting somewhere.

Weapons: The order has supplied her with many weapons, but her favorite is the crossbow that her father gave her.

Strengths: She's quick on her feet, fast, strong, and has excellent aim

Weaknesses: She thinks before she acts...and of course there's the slight problem that she is wanted in half of Europe. She's short tempered and many times do somthing and majorly reget it later.

Name: Ashira Darga Cul, meaning Ashira Dark Horse

Age: Unknown

Race: It is not for certain. The legends state that he is not a man, but a phantom. Realists say that he is a man, but no one has lived to verify the truth.

Gender: Male

Occupation: None, unless you consider Serial killer an occupation

Description: Only those he kills ever see who he really is. And they won't see him until it is too late. But he is known to strike out of the darkness, dressed in a black cloak. His face is never seen.

Pesonality: Little is known exactly about his personality. All that is know is that he appears to be cold, heartless, and simply indestructable.

Weapon: Wouldn't you like to know? Here's the problem. You have to die by it to know what it is. But the victims are found with their throats cut. He usually uses daggers.

Backstory: Many have died by his hand, and the legends get darker and darker. The legends state that he was killed in the forest by robbers at 3:36 A.M. Then later, all of the robbers died, or disappeared. One man claimed to have seen his ghost massacre one of the robbers. But the man described him only as a cloaked figure. Since then he has struck in several places, he is a true psycopathic killer. Unstoppable, yet unpredictable. Except for the fact that many of his strikes occur at 3:36 A.M., a tribute to his "death" if you will. It is not known whether the legend about his death is true. Skeptics of the legend think that he was just a normal man whose girlfriend was murdered. Because of this is dark side grew stronger until it took control of him. Now he is a killer, with no rhyme or reason to kill. He often sends letters or messages to his victims ahead of time, just to make the murder more... interesting. (Jack the Ripper used to do something like this, except he'd send letters to the police).

Strengths: He seems to materialize from the darkness, and is virtually untraceable. If you hear that the Dark Horse is hunting you, you flee the country, taking all of your family with you, and then disappear in the minds of everyone in that country. Then Ashira might not find you. You bring with you weapons, and keep them close at hand, but you may never even get a chance to use them (as in you'd be dead before you could draw the weapon. He commits a murder, and disappears. The times where people do manage to fight against him, he usually spars with them for a little bit, and in the event that he doesn't kill them, he seems to fade into the shadows, only to return later to finish the job.

Weaknesses: He will never kill a girl who wears red, but few know of this. Some say its because he remembers his girlfriend the night that she was killed. It is not clear as to whether the red represents the blood, or if she actually wore a red shirt. But if a man wears red, then the Dark Horse will scream in anger and agony, and kill the man before anything else can happen. It is unknown why he can't stand seeing a man wear red. But not many people know about this. Some men get it mixed up, wear red, and die soon afterwards.
