Would a possession work? The only reason why she is "bad" or she has demonic powers would be because when she was younger her soul was eaten up by a demon and living in her body--if the demon left her, she'd die??

What I meant by that is like its sort of like Dracula and Van Helsing. . Dracula was brought into the world by Satan and from then on he introduced evil and vampires and all that fun stuff. . . meanwhile, to offset that, God dropped down Gabriel to kill Dracula. . I was thinking something a bit similar to that--but reversed. If God commissioned Alvaro to banish demons, then Satan would be that douche and completely mess it up by having a possession of his dear little sister who would be able to introduce demons and be a living demon herself. . . thats kinda what I meant, you can forget the levels of power it really makes no difference. . . .

Any suggestions on how I could ammend her story. . the only one I could think of was the first ammendment. . .

What is my problem is that I don't want too many demonly/godly figures, because then it goes of topic of Van elsing/Dracula.

Oooh, okay--I didn't understand, but yeah, that makes sense. .

what if Dulce was endowed (by the dark lord) with sorceress powers and sent on a mission to ressurrect Dracula?. . . Dulce's personality change will happen because the powers dealt to her were corrupted and evil and thus made her evil---does that sound okay. . she can try to approach Alana and Company to ressurrect Dracula and what not . . idk. . .

And bringing back Drac? Ummm, don't you think it's time that once he's dead that he stays dead? I mean, The Dawn's a sequel to Ascending Darkness and Drac was either turned good or killed, so I don't think a revival of Dracula is a good idea. It's like, "Why don't you (Dracula) die already?"

oh, I didn't know what the plot was to ascending darkness . . . I had no idea he was in that. . .

do you have any other ideas about how I could possibly then connect my character to Van Helsing?

Name: Alana Isabelle Tremarie

Nickname: None

Age:268 (as of 1888)

Country of Origin: Romanian

Species/Race: Vampire/Sorceress

Job/Occupation: Coven Leader and Sorceress

Eye Color: Brown

Hair Color: Black

Height: 5’6”

General Appearance (Minimum of two paragraphs [six to eight sentences each], please: Alana’s appearance, upon first glance, is one of timeless, classic, sometimes even ethereal beauty. Her long, black hair is somewhere between curly and wavy, down to the small of her back, and very, very thick. Her skin is pale as the moonlight, and cold as a winter’s day, though incredibly smooth and supple. She’s of average height for a woman, roughly five and a half feet, although her boots usually add another inch to her stature. Her frame is lanky, as is common in vampires, but also naturally curvaceous and quite appealing to those of the opposite gender. But, perhaps what draws people in the most is her eyes: Chocolate brown in color, yet, they possess no kindness or warmth, only suppressed rage and a cold, cruel, yet appealing and magnetic sort of power.

But what few people fail to see upon first glances are the imperfections Alana bears. She has several scars on her arms and torso, souvenirs of violent, one-sided fights her elder sister instigated when they were girls. She also has a small burn scar on her left ankle from a little mishap with potion-brewing. But more so than imperfections…people fail to see the monster beneath her timeless looks. In her true vampiric form, she has grayish-white skin, talons for nails and toenails, and unforgiving, ice-blue eyes. Her hair is wild and untamed, and her fangs hyper-extend to about an inch to an inch and a half long. She also has wings, to complete her appearance of a demonic hell-bat. Her wings span about fourteen or fifteen feet from tip to tip, and are also grayish-white, with dark lines through them to mark where the veins and bones are.

Clothing: Alana’s main outfit consists of a dark purple dress, form fitting with fashionably slit sleeves and a dropped neckline. The dress is trimmed with black at the neckline, sleeve slits, and is also bell-sleeved. Along with the dress, she wears a pair of black, high-heeled boots that reach mid-calf and a black, hooded travelling cloak. And she is never seen without a necklace that’s composed of a black cord with a deep purple stone on it.

Likes: Alana has a deep connection to her magic, and thus, she is constantly practicing it, and constantly seeking an opportunity to use it. She also loves to brew potions in her free time, and reading, strangely enough (she was fortunate enough that she learned to read as a child). Also, any opportunity to attempt to kill Gabriel or Catherine Van Helsing, she’ll take.

Dislikes: Top of her dislikes list is the Van Helsing siblings. She wishes them dead like one would not believe. She also dislike anything and everything Christian, and despises the religion, hence many believe her to be the daughter of Satan. She can’t stand hypocrites (even though she can be vaguely hypocritical sometimes), and will not tolerate incompetence or insubordination in her coven.

Personality (Minimum of two paragraphs [six to eight sentences each], please): Alana’s personality has often been described as cold, calculating, and venomous as a snake. And, indeed, it is. Many have been lead to believe she has no emotions, judging by the way she can dole out harsh, graphic fates for those who she despises without doing as much as batting an eyelash. She has been known to employ the policy of watch, wait, and see…and attack from behind if things need a little spurring along. And when she’s angry, she will lash out with words that can cut to the marrow and hurt more than any injury inflicted by a weapon. She’s also notorious for doing whatever it takes to make things go the way she wants them to go.

However, there’s another side to Alana, a lighter side, to some extent. When she’s particularly pleased or excited, Alana has been known to have a jaunty, jubilant-albeit sinister-personality. Like most vampires, she has a lustful streak within her, but her manner of flirting is so smooth and subtle, it’s nearly impossible to resist. She’s a hell of a passionate lover when it comes down to it. And, surprisingly enough, she’s a caring and devoted mother to any child she manages to get her hands on and attempt to raise as her own.

Something Unique About Your Character: Thanks to centuries of carefully practicing and honing this skill, Alana has the power to invade a person’s mind, cause them unbearable mental anguish, and, if she wishes, she can possess them by taking over their mind and trapping them within their own subconscious.

Background/History (Minimum of three paragraphs [six to eight sentences each], please): Alana’s life started out in a simple peasant hamlet in the northern Transylvanian region. She was born a poor girl, the second surviving daughter of a local farmer and his pious, Godly, well-loved wife. However, while birthing Alana, her mother succumbed to deadly hemorrhaging, and only lived long enough to name her newborn daughter with her dying breath. Because of what Alana’s entrance into the world meant for her mother, she was instantly marked as a demon-child by everyone in the village…including her own sister, seven years older than her. Growing up, shewas outcasted by everyone but her father. The people of the village spread rumors about her behind her back, while her own sister mercilessly bullied her. Things seemed to look up for her one day, however, when, at age eight, she stumbled across the house of a Gypsy on the outskirts of her town. The Gypsy, Anika, took her in as an apprentice of sorts and taught her to work with and master white magic. With careful, devoted training, she became an accomplished light witch five years later, at the age of thirteen.

Things took another turn for the worst, however, when she was fifteen. Her beloved father passed away from an incurable illness, and before he was even cold in his grave, rumors and plots to kill Alana ran rampant. Fearing for her life, Alana left the village, finding sanctuary in the woods not too far from a town called Miscoara Valley. Nine years later, as fate would have it, she met none other than Gabriel Van Helsing while they were both in town one day. One could perhaps call it love at first sight between the legendary, dashing hunter and the young witch. They courted for several months, and, after close to a year of courtship, Gabriel went to her to ask her hand in marriage. It was at that time that Alana informed him that she was carrying his child. They made plans to marry and raise their child in peace, hoping that Catherine, Gabriel’s sister (who seemed distrustful of Alana) would warm up to her in time. But, one night, when Alana was six months pregnant, she was kidnapped by vampires and taken to the Drakebane Coven, where the leader, Lilith Freniere, gave her two options: Join up as her protégé, or die.

Choosing to spare not only her life, but that of Gabriel and her unborn child as well, Alana joined the coven. She was turned that very night, and three months later, she delivered her child…a stillborn daughter. This traumatic event signaled the end of one life, and the beginning of another for the young, newly-turned witch. Once she realized that Gabriel wasn’t going to come for her, to take her to the place where they planned to live a peaceful life, her anger and rage drove her to forsake white magic and start studying black magic, the magic practiced by her master, Lilith. In her ire, she returned to her village and killed her older sister, perhaps for revenge, perhaps to simply live up to her sister’s claims that she was a demonic child. She then devoted herself to killing the Van Helsing siblings at any and all cost. When Lilith was unexpectedly slain in 1697, Alana ascended to the position of Drakebane Coven mistress, and has remained in that position ever since.

Anything else: She’s commonly known throughout Transylvania as the Dark Vampire Sorceress of Transylvania, a nickname that she’s quite proud of.

Signature Claim/Trademark: Alana’s signature claim is as follows: “There’s no such thing as a God-given happy ending. That’s because He doesn’t care. If you want to survive in this world, you’ve got to learn how to make your own happy ending…or get rid of those who denied your happy ending to you.”

Strengths: Two and a half centuries as a vampire have granted her with the power that any vampire inherits as they age, such as highly developed and acute senses and preternatural speed and strength. She also has dangerously advanced black magic power, because of all her years of practice, and has a deviously clever mind when it comes to strategy. She also has her powers of magic and possession.

Weaknesses: She’s repulsed by everything Christian, mostly because of how she grew up believing that God didn’t care about her. Sunlight is as big a weakness to her as it is to all other vampires, and so are silver stakes (wood stakes no longer affect her). However, the best bet to kill her with is either a blessed or a silver athame through her heart, as that will destroy both her vampiric and magical side at one time. Also, children are a big weakness for her-she’s still heartbroken over the loss of her first daughter. She’ll go to any length to not only get her hands on a child to raise as her own, but also to protect them once she has them.

Weapons: A dagger in each boot, just as “insurance”, as she likes to call them. Her preferred weapon, however, is a psionic energy orb, which will flare up in her hand at her will. These orbs are small, but surprisingly solid when they strike something, and burn on contact.

Model: Anette Olzon

“Theme” Song (Please include a brief explanation as to why): Alana’s theme song is “Coming Undone” by Korn. This is her themebecause she seems composed and calm on the surface, but she’s really very much so a wreck, and a lethal one at that. Her anger and wrath have made her, on the inside, one loose cannon.

Sample Post (In first person form, please. It will be used for evaluations.): Why is that revenge eluded me for so long? I’m a patient woman, yes, but even I have my limits. Especially when it comes to Gabriel and his comeuppance. That I would love to deliver…it would get him out of my hair permanently, not to mention…well, I’d finally have my revenge.

But it would have to wait. After all, if I tried this at anything but the opportune moment, I wasn’t going to get the desired results. I might not even come close.

And where’s the fun in that?

(And now...a brand new character! Isn't it amazing?!)

Name: Alexandra Claire Dunkirk

Nickname: Alex or Alexa

Age: 348 (as of 1888)

Country of Origin: Romania

Species/Race: Werewolf

Job/Occupation: Drifter

Eye Color: Brown

Hair Color: Blonde

Height: 5’4”

General Appearance (Minimum of two paragraphs [six to eight sentences each], please: Alexandra is quite petite, but she has sinewy muscles that no one ever seems to notice. She has thick, honey-blonde hair that curls into ringlets at the end and hangs down roughly to her shoulder blades. Her brown eyes are usually sparkling with some form of mischief or delight. She’s quite meticulous about her appearance, and usually looks incredibly well put together. And yet, at the same time…there’s something wild about her; she simply looks as though she cannot be tamed.

Despite how meticulous Alexandra is about her appearance, her body has it fair share of scars. The earliest scar she ever received was a bite scar on her right shoulder, where, at the age of five, she was bitten by a werewolf after watching her parents and grandparents get killed and her uncle getting bitten and running off. She also has various scars on her arms, legs, back, and stomach from scraps with other werewolves as a little girl…and well into her adult life as well. Another scar she has is a small scar on her neck from an encounter with a werewolf hunter who simply didn’t know when to quit and slashed at her neck with a silver dagger. In her wolfen form, Alexandra is just about six feet tall, with cream-colored fur and burning yellow eyes. She has a patch of fur on her bitten shoulder, a light brown in color, though no one is really sure why it turns light brown.

Clothing: Alexandra usually wears a red, off-the-shoulder dress, one that stops at her knees in the front, but flows out down to the ground in the back. Under it, she wears a pair of black leggings (for more mobility), and a pair of black slippers, almost ballet-like in style. Because Alexandra has a habit of predicting her transformations before they come on, she usually manages to remove her clothes before a transformation, thus keeping her clothes in a well-kempt state.

Likes: Alexandra loves her freedom and personal space, and has been known to occasionally wander off on her own for days on end. She also loves to tease her friends in a playful, kindly manner, just to have fun with them. Alexandra also has a love of music, though she can’t play any instruments. Mostly, she sings, and has been known to blurt out songs randomly.

Dislikes: Being a free spirit, Alexandra cannot stand being bossed around, especially not by her peers. She also doesn’t like men forcing their affections on her, and has been known to leave a scar or two on some overzealous suitors. And she cannot stand liars, especially if they keep lying to her.

Last but not least, she also can’t stand getting very dirty. A little dirt, she can handle. A lot will freak her out.

Personality (Minimum of two paragraphs [six to eight sentences each], please): Alexandra, to some, can appear to be a walking contradiction. She’s sweet, charming, and has a bright and bubbly persona, even to those who she doesn’t know. She always has a smile on her face, it seems, and a genuine one at that. She’s also kindhearted and gentle, more so than her parents were, though many think they know how she grew up so gentle. She’s very learned as well, not wanting to grow up an ignorant woman. Alexandra also has a tendency to give the benefit of the doubt.

At the same time, however, she has a completely different personality, one that can catch people off guard. She can be aloof, and sometimes even come across as rude and standoffish. She’s also, due to her upbringing, a warrior at heart, and, in battle, has been known to be ruthless. When incited, Alexandra will not hesitate to put the fear of God into someone with her temper. It would seem as if she’s bipolar, with such conflicting personalities, and yet, she’s not bipolar at all. The two distinct halves of her personality are simply a part of who she is.

Something Unique About Your Character: Alexandra does not go by her real name. Ninety-nine percent of the time, she will introduce herself not as Alexandra Dunkirk, but as Chandara Luna de Autechane, which is the name that her “parents” gave her when they adopted her as their daughter.

Background/History (Minimum of three paragraphs [six to eight sentences each], please): Alexandra was born into privilege on February 13, 1560, the first grandchild of the revered Lord Mihai Dunkirk and his wife, Lady Darya Dunkirk (the daughter of their daughter, Adaliah). The first few years of her life were bliss; she was raised by her loving parents, close to her grandparents, and adored by her uncle, Alexsei. However, tragedy would strike her life at a young age, forever changing her destiny. At the tender age of five, while gathered with her entire family, a mad werewolf raided her family’s home. With no remorse, the werewolf cut down her grandparents and parents in a matter of minutes, before setting his sights on her and her uncle. He didn’t kill them, however…he turned them, seeing the potential in them both. Alexsei fled after being bitten, terrified by all he had just witnessed, while Alexandra succumbed to unconsciousness, and allowed herself to be taken by the werewolf who had just destroyed everything she ever knew.

When she came back around, her memories were blurred and hazy at best, due to the effects of werewolf venom on her young mind. The werewolf who had killed her family, Sirius de Autechane, claimed that Alexandra was the daughter of him and his mate, Adolpha. She believed him instantly and began her life anew as Chandara Luna de Autechane, princess of the de Autechane pack. Alexsei returned close to a month later, recovered from his shock and having survived his first transformation, and was instantly taken in as the beta of the pack, as well as the pack’s healer. Growing up, Alexandra formed a close bond to Alexsei, even referring to him as her uncle (which, in retrospect, he was). He was her favorite person, after her parents, and yet…she couldn’t help but wonder why he acted like a father to her.

Around the mid-1800’s, Alexsei and Sirius began a falling out, mostly because of Sirius’s disapproval of Alexsei’s friendship with Catherine Van Helsing. Rumors say that Sirius banished him from the pack, but many say that he chose to leave of his own accord. Before he left, however, he sat down with Alexandra and revealed the whole truth…how Sirius killed her parents, how him and Adolpha lied to her…and how he, her true, honest-to-God uncle, had been trying to protect her from Sirius, Adolpha, and their lies all those centuries. Left alone with her swirling whirlwind of emotions, courtesy of Alexsei’s revelation, Alexandra left the pack shortly afterwards, wandering Europe, searching for a purpose and hoping to reunite with her uncle once more.

Anything else: Alexandra has a scar in the shape of a crescent moon on her left shoulder from a fight with a rival werewolf that has occasionally been mistaken as an uncolored tattoo.

Signature Claim/Trademark: Alexandra’s signature claim is as follows: “Don’t underestimate me…I’ve been told I look cute and cuddly, but I’ve also been told I’m deadly and divine.”

Strengths: Thanks to Alexsei’s help, Alexandra has learned a level of control over her transformations, and can usually predict when a transformation is needed or is coming on. She also has all the lycanthropic attributes, such as accelerated healing, speed, and strength, and excellent battle skills, thanks to a lifetime of intense training as a warrior-like princess.

Weaknesses: Silver and fire are the two big ones, as is decapitation. Alexandra’s habit of giving the benefit of the doubt can be used against her, and she also has a problem with the occasional violent bloodlust. Last but not least, like her uncle, she also has the problem of being amorous, although she seems to get it worse than her uncle (many believe that’s simply because she’s a female).

Weapons: A dagger she sheathes on her calf, and a rapier that she keeps strapped to her waist. Other than that, she’s weaponless, preferring her claws and fangs to fight with.

Model: Agnes Bruckner

“Theme” Song (Please include a brief explanation as to why): Alexandra’s theme song is “Wanderlust” by Nightwish. This is Alexandra’s theme song because Alexandra is a girl with a free soul, who hates to be grounded in one place. She has a desire to be free, and won’t let herself be held down by man’s word or man’s rules.

Sample Post (In first person form, please. It will be used for evaluations.): Father’s little girl. That’s what I always was. My father’s little girl, his princess, his angel. But…at the same time, I noticed something-I was the same way, the same thing, to my uncle. And yet, I honestly didn’t know why. Was it because Uncle Alexsei was the pack’s healer, and felt...I don’t know, could you call it asense of responsibility to me…you know, making sure that the pack leader’s daughter-a princess amongst werewolves-grew up to be strong, healthy…and a good leader, should I ever have to take over?

But then, then came the day I learned the truth. Straight from Uncle Alexsei’s mouth. He told me beforehand that I deserved to know, I was more than old enough to handle it…and then, he let loose with the absolutely world-shattering revelations.

I ask you…what do the word’s “Father’s little girl” mean…when your father is the man who murdered everyone you held dear?

Job/Occupation: Blacksmith and part-time Chef

Eye Color: Light cerulean

Hair Color: Deep chocolate brown almost black has it usually in a ponytail

Height: 5’ 7”

General Appearance :( Minimum of two paragraphs [six to eight sentences each], please)

She is fairly tall and fairly pallor which contrast with her dark hair. Her eyes pop and the sparkle in the sun’s rays. Her brow is always furrowed like she’s upset. This is mainly because she cannot control her telepathy as well as her telekinetic. She is learning how ever. She is youthful and her fangs make a slick sound as they come out. Their curled and come over the lips a little bit not to much. She has muscles and it makes her look like a predator.

Her wings are a deep mahogany red with white speckles. Also with ripped feathers in some places. She has the ability to grow them back but chooses to hide them rather than display them. Therefore she keeps her duster on. She looks rugged and manly but closer views tell you otherwise. She is the most ladylike yet when she’s with her family not really.

Outfit/Clothing: Her everyday attire includes a Black apron and black pants and a blood red shirt also has black hat with a large iridescent plume. Outerwear includes a black duster blood and mud stained. Her shoes are actually boots with an Italian influence.Formal wear is a dress that looks like an off the shoulder bias cut and is most a surely black with yet again an Italian influence.

Likes: Her family (her twin brother; Mordred especially), her horse “Odysseus”, and writing (actually she loves these) cooking and music (any kind) she prefers exotic and simple dishes.

Dislikes: tasting her own cooking, dancing, her laugh

Personality :( Minimum of two paragraphs [six to eight sentences each], please)

She has a good of sense humor; which includes sarcasm. She has a bitter temperament. Merciless when someone betrays her. Her honor is within her family. She goes by instincts but she is very wisdom-ridden and the intelligence she has is beyond compare. She is malicious and sly yet she can be fairly nice.

Most would call her naïve because of her experiences with love. She is a majorly headstrong and stubborn. She is very much a romantic and a musical person. She is certainly peculiar and curious for most women. If she were a flower she’d be a wilting water lily. This because she is no Rose and not to mention she has been in the world and knows reality for what it is kill or be killed. (This in fact one of her trademark sayings.)

Something Unique about Your Character: She is no mundane hybrid she is a crossover between a vampire and a fallen angel. Not to mention she’s got her mother’s pendant.

Background/History :( Minimum of three paragraphs [six to eight sentences each], please)

Her mother Rosa-Mae was bitten by her father Carlisle and she instantly became what her daughter and son would be naturally, a hybrid. Carlisle bit his wife before she had the twins thus making the alter fetuses into vampire/fallen angel hybrids. She is eight minutes older than her brother; Mordred. The doctor said she and brother wouldn’t live to see ten. They longed surpassed the doctors’ expectation. Their mother died 3.2 years later of consumption. As their father raised them Mordred forgot about their mother. However Evey didn’t because of love she had given Evey remained.

As they got older they worked together in the field. She dressed herself as a man and even went to war with her brother. Yet when she was discovered she was punished by being lashed 24 times and left to bleed. Not to mention when they found her wings they ripped the majority of her feathers off. In the cold winter snow she nearly died yet she didn’t it made her stronger. She tried to fly to find Mordred. Her wings failed to catch the wind. She called her brother telepathically and her telepathy was discovered. She was taken to the Paranormal Defense Hospital in America.

There she was tested and she hadn’t seen her brother since they were separated. She fell for her doctor and they fell madly, hopelessly in love and she knew he was human and she tried resisting his blood yet he always offered her things to persuade her to make him “immortal.” When he purposed to her he said he wanted to be with her forever. As she was about to bite him her brother came through the door with a rage like no other. And killed her would’ve-been-fiancé instantly with a neck snapped. She never forgave him that but she was glad to see him afterwards. They have been admitted to work for Rome and the Order.

Anything else: Favorite colors surprisingly are black, red, light lime green, and if someone had to fall for her or vice versa she’d probably end doing what her father did to her mother.

Signature Claim/Trademarks:

1)‘Kill or be killed’

2)‘Come whatever May’

3)‘Love is a Hero’s Sacrifice’

Weapons: bow and arrows and twin swords and her own two fists

Strengths: her primal instinct and quick lighter than air agility not to mention her silver tongue.

Weaknesses: her brother being hurt and her headaches

Model :( Actor/Actress) Claire Forlani

Theme Song and Explanation as to why :(a song that represents your character) Whispers In The Dark by Skillet.

This mainly represents her and her past experience with love. She proves that she rue or make great someone’s love for her.

Sample Post :( In first person form, please. It will be used for evaluations.)

/Evey/

“Heartbreak, Bloodthirsty, and of course a darkened soul I know that says a lot and needs explanation. I wish so badly I could go back in time. Well won’t Carlisle be surprised to see me?! Penelope will be shocked to see you to Odysseus.”

I said brushing him. Soon I’d be in Ireland and home with Carlisle and Mordred. I deserved a break from hunting the evil of the world Van Helsing could handle it for now.

(Here comes Alexendra's man. He's a bit messed up but you'll soon see why...)

Name: Morfran Syam O'Byrne(M- named after a mythical demon; S- storm; O-raven in Irish)

Nickname: Angel of Death, Master of the Ravens

Age: 36

Country of Origin: Italy

Species/Race: Italian Elementist

Job/Occupation: Assassin

Eye Color: Gold/Amber

Hair Color: Sable

Height: 6’’9

General Appearance: Morfran is encased with a lethal, dark aura of his inhuman power which makes the hair of everyone’s neck stand up straight. His charcoal hair is short and cropped but flares out a bit at the top. In the winter and fall, his skin is rather olive but becomes tan during the spring and summertime. Morfran facial features are ruggedly handsome and there’s a brooding expression plastered to his face. His sable eyes are slightly almond-shaped, nose is sharp and defined, and his mouth can either be a straight line or twisted into a mordant smirk when he’s about engage his foe. He also has a strong chin and makes an effort to shave every now and then.

Due to intense training and exercise at a tender age, Morfran has a menacing, muscular build that you think only a god could possess. He has several scars all over his back and abdomen and one fairly nasty gash along his right forearm—all scars are from past assassinations when he was a great deal younger back then and nowhere as powerful as he today. On his bicep is a tattoo of a raven with the word “morte” (‘death’ in Italian) underneath it.

Outfit/Clothing: Being an assassin he usually hunts at night so he wears dark colors for the most part. Dressed in all black, his attire consists of hunting boots, trousers, a plain cotton shirt with a leather vest covering it, and a long, billowing cloak that helps conceal in him the night. Wrapped around both his wrists are leather wristbands with covertly hold metal inside so he can use the bands to deflect attacks or stop a weapon from his piercing him.

Likes: Gazing up at the moon–ever since he was child, Morfran would look up at the moon to clear his mind and wash all this troubles away. He sometimes reflects that the moon is only thing he can rely on and trust not to change. Ravens are his favorite animal and you will always see a mob of them following him around, constantly at his beck and call. Morfran also enjoys combat, fighting keep his mind sharp and alert and plus, he loves inducing fear into his adversary’s eyes.

Dislikes: Hot and spicy foods, he prefers a meal that is simpler and less exotic. He despises his family for what they did to his mother and coerced him to undergo. Morfran also cannot tolerate gossips or extremely verbose people–they make him want to gouge their eyes out.

Personality: Morfran is typically dark, brooding, sardonic, and ruthless to the core. He will cut down anyone who is in his path and shows no remorse for his sanguinary actions. He does not believe in showing mercy in battle, especially towards those who do not deserve it. At the same time, he will not murder an innocent, he doesn’t want to grow up as the same monsters as people in his vestige clan. Contrary to popular belief, Morfran is not a prideful man thus anyone’s taunts or insults will simply roll off him. However, he can be a vindictive man so if somebody wrongs him their days are numbered.

Morfran prefers swift, silent killings (easier for him to slip out without much hassle) to brutal, overzealous methods albeit he can be a bit gory when he fighting someone of equal caliber. He views his opponents as his prey and wants them to fight back before he dispatches him– Morfran needs something to entertain while he attacks. In other words, when he plays cat-and-mouse with his quarry and only ends their life when he grows weary of this “game”. He can come off as a little insane but that is all a hoax—Morfran somewhat likes scaring people.

Since his family treated him as more of living weapon, a tool, for their own selfish purposes, Morfran has come to believe he is incapable of feelings—save bloodlust and rage. Killing is all he knows and that’s all he esteems he will understand.

Something Unique About Your Character: He possesses a certain power of ravens and uses them to gather information.

Background/History: Morfran’s father was an Elementist (a mage who can control the four elements Fire, Water, Air, and Earth) and Morfran’s mother was a wealthy woman in aristocratic house, the O’Byrne. To get out of an unsavory marriage, Morfran’s mother, Ingrid, seduced his father (Bernard) into her bed and tricked him into marrying her after she was pregnant. A little of nine months later, Ingrid gave birth to Morfran and treachery began in O’Byrne family.

Morfran’s ability to control the four elements was discovered when he sent of on the chairs on fire and his father Bernard started his Elementist training pronto. Later on, he realized his son could strangely control metal, a property none Elementists could control. Meanwhile, the O’Byrne planned to use Morfran as their tool to eliminate rivaling houses so they can obtain total power in Italy. Once Morfran had finished his Elementist training (he was nine at the time), he was instantly given to a former assassin of the family and was taught the ways of a hired blade. When he turned fourteen and fully prepared, his family sent him off on assassinating errands and he completed each order without protest. During his life as an assassin, his teacher gave him a “gift” for his birthday: The power to place someone under a potent mind spell that causes them to think they’re undoing extreme agony but in reality, their body is perfectly unscathed—the whole torture is all in their head. With this new brand of power, Morfran made his family the most feared house in the land yet he resented his family members so much because they didn’t treat his father very well, nor his mother.

When Morfran was in his mid-twenties, his mother, Ingrid, informed him that the leaders of the O’Byrne family had covertly dispatched his father to get rid of the skeletons in their closet. Fearing his mother would be next (for she was slowly gaining power so she could overtake the clan and have her and Morfran rule the estate together) Morfran defended her safety and ended up killing many of his fellow kinsmen. Suddenly, his mother was struck down and at the sight of her blood Morfran snapped and slaughtered almost everyone in the house, sparing only the children and those innocent in his parents’ murder. After he had finished his grisly task, he left his home, forever branded a “kin slayer”.

Anything else: Being an assassin he is surreptitious as hell and when he walks or moves he produces not a single sound.

Signature Claim/Trademark: “Mercy, you say? I’m terribly sorry but I have no mercy to grant you. Tell your worthless god I said hello.”

Strengths: His assassin skills, his power to trap people into a mind-torture with a single stare, his connection with the ravens, his beastly strength and calculating, cunning mind (that’s one of the reasons why he’s so flawless at his trade), and his control over the four Elements is almost second to none.

Weaknesses: Morfran’s bloodlust can be an issue and have many people question his morality and humanity, he’ll snap and go into a silent, raging rampage if someone derogatorily mentions his parents and then insults them, and he thinks possessing emotions will make you weak which in reality, it isn’t.

Weapons: The ability to trap people into a mind-torture with just his eyes, his Elementist magic, twin daggers he mainly uses for killing, a whole set of throwing daggers, a short sword that’s slightly curved, and a few other lone daggers of all shapes and sizes. He has two pocket knifes stored in both his boots and one small dagger wrapped around his neck that is disguised as a necklace. Morfran also uses his pet ravens in battle, if he so desires.

Model: Oded Fehr

Theme Song and Explanation as to why: “The Hero” by Amon Amarth, because he sells his blades to anyone worth the price and believes he is heartless and a black-hearted man. If he is killed, Morfran doesn’t want any sympathy for he knows he does not deserve it after all the bloody transactions he has committed in the past.

“The Kinslayer” by Nightwish, because Morfran butchered most of his family members for he loathed how they treated him, however, the contempt derived more from the rather hostile treatment of his parents. They molded him into what he is today and when they railed on him for his cruelty, he simply pointed out that they were ones who shaped, who wrought him into the beast they called him and then laughed at their hypocrisy.

Sample Post: Steel. Stealth. Blood. Death. Darkness.

That’s all I knew when I was a youth, when I was ordered to become the O’ Byrne family’s personal assassin. I had been torn from my father and my mother was incapable of protecting me. Much as I loved her she was a silly creature, spent far too much celebrating and drinking herself blind while my father was a near prisoner amidst his own in-laws. My clan was power-hungry and would commit heinous deeds to have supremacy over Italy—good luck to them.

I had been stripped of all emotions, my teacher told me emotions made me feeble and I possessed no wish to be weak. Then came my heart, I couldn’t show any pity or remorse for to my victims as I assassinated them. Soon, I became the tool of my kin and they unleashed me like Satan releasing his favorite hellhound upon mankind. To be candid, I didn’t know how to feel about my position as their pawn for total domination for I couldn’t feel—at all. On the other hand, I sure felt something when they cut down my mother when she tried for the first time in her pitiable life protect me and received an arrow in the back for her effort.

Ah, yes, I experienced an emotion or two all right: Rage…and bloodlust. I wanted to paint the walls with the blood of my parents’ murders and lucky for me, there was plenty to go around. A sick, twisted smile graced my olive features as I slit the throat of my first victim and idly watched blood spray wildly about, a few carmine drops spattering on me as I stalked towards my conniving, insidious family members.

Their screams of mercy and forgiveness would be most entertaining.
