SpeedDemon315/Egil/ It was then my turn to grin slightly at Marisol's words and I ruffled her hair, knowing she would never execute a crime such a betrayal. "Thanks for the reassurance, Mari. I fathom you wouldn't, I've known since you were a little girl." /Hieron/ "Nope!" I muttered, keeping on eye on Casondrah who was gauging us with a strange look, "Just Elvish." /Ethan/ "G'right ahead," I replied, already taking a chug of the wine, "I shouldn't deny you sustenance." /Danica/ Masking my agitation for both Werner and the Elders, I dug my fingernails into Werner's skin--I hope I drew blood. Asgeir narrowed his eyes dangerously at Werner, sensing the buried challenge in his words. "I daresay I can imagine she is," he replied dryly, his clean-shaven visage composed and expressionless as he spoke, "But it's a rather a shock to all of us how you managed to charm such an...independent woman such as she. Past suitors failed in that prospect yet you must have done something extraordinary to impress her." His lips quirked into a crocodile smile and I shot him an acidic glower, conceiving what a snake in the grass this man was. Oh, if what you mean by extraordinary is raping and impregnating me and then coercing me to wed him. Yes, that's extraordinary all right. | #2401 Dec 08th 2008, 4:50am . Celtic Aurora/Marisol/ I laughed when Uncle Egil mussed up my wild curls, and I attempted to straighten them back out. "This is true, I was what...eight when I met you and Aunt Cathy?" "Eight or nine," I said. "I always forget what year Gabriel married your mother, shame on me..." /Gabriella/ "Think maybe once we're out of the company of those two, you and Tinuviel might tell me a little more about Elvish culture?" I asked him. "I've always found other cultures-and creatures-fascinating..." /Aliria/ I gave him a winning smile, uncorking the vial I held in my hands and holding it up to him in a toast of sorts. My eyes were already turning bright blue, I could tell. "Bottoms up!" I told him. | #2402 Dec 08th 2008, 12:38pm

SpeedDemon315/Sigrid/ "Somewhere around there," I interjected, after being silent for awhile, "I was little older than you Marisol when we first became friends." /Hieron/ I nodded, a faint smile gracing my features. "Of course we will. It's always a pleasure for us drows to teach a willing person the Elvin ways, more specifically, the drow culture." I spoke in a whisper, making sure Casondrah wouldn't hear us but she seemed to be more interested in observing Uncle Gabriel more than anything else. /Ethan/ "Fonds en haut," I echoed in my native tongue, tipping my glass up as I intently watched her eyes turn a radiant shade of cerulean. By God, that's pretty blue in her, really brings out paleness in her skin--in a good way. (fonds en haut- bottoms up in French) | #2403 Dec 08th 2008, 6:49pm

Celtic Aurora/Marisol/ "Oh, yeah, I remember that!" I said to her. "Didn't we meet when we played Hide and Seek together? God, those were the days..." /Gabriella/ "Oooh," I squealed softly. "I look forward to it; I'll bet the drow culture is most fascinating!" /Aliria/ I drained the small vial of blood quickly, before corking it and placing it back into the pouch on my belt. "That's much better," I said. I reached for the bottle of wine and a spare glass. "Seeing as that's taken care of, I think I'd like a glass of wine..." | #2404 Dec 08th 2008, 6:57pm

vamplady101/Werner/ I chuckled inwardly, both at Danica's reaction and Asegir's arrogant question. I turned to Danica with a wry smile, "I'm not sure--darling, what about me so impressed you--so. .enraptured you about me. . .?" I looked into her face finding it amusing how she wanted to deliver a straight upper cut to my face--but couldn't. Go on darling, I've said my part. . now you say yours, lets not lose the momentum of the act. . . | #2405 Dec 09th 2008, 6:48am

SpeedDemon315/Sigrid/ A soft chuckle resonated from my throat, my head nodding at Marisol's words. "Yes, we did. We were such innocent children back then, so carefree and vigorous." I stated drily, my eyes scanning the environment around me. We were already in Germany and so far, Marisol's spell was working marvelously. No one alerted the Nazis or the SS, they just ignored us and continued on with their daily work. /Hieron/ I grinned at Gabriella's squeal, loving her enthusiasm. "Why thank you, Gabby. I---" I was cut off due to a sharp bang of wooding slamming against metal and in strolled Major Yukimura, his features blank as ever. "There were some techinal diffifulcties with the train but they have been resolved now," he informed us curtly and true to his word, the train began moving again. /Ethan/ "Here yah go," I offered gaily, my head abuzz with the drink, "You better stop me from drinking too much or I won't be able to sleep for the rest of the night." /Danica/ It was a pity it wasn't just Werner and I all alone in this room or I would have wrung his neck first and then give him a ridge-hand--that'll wipe the smug smile off his face. It was either that or bombarding him with bullets while attacking him with my epee. Such acts of venegeance will come later, I suppose. Right now I have to keep the little puppet show running. Painting a regaled beam on my face while plastering a pseudeo-sweet expression on my visage, I drove my nails into his hand a with more vigor than before prior to responding. "You mean you don't know, Dragă? Ah, I can say what attracted me to you was your--" profound ego and warped mind-- "--tenacity and passion, per say." --I mean, nothing captivates a woman more than a man with a stick up his a.ss. "Unlike some of the men I know (I sent the Elders a black grin when I uttered this), you're a blunt, candid man who mean what they say." I fixed my metallic eyes on Werner after I was done with my pretty little speech, wishing he would rot in the seven fires of Hell. It was rather a shame no one could hear my sarcastic musings, they lifted my spirits up somewhat. (Dragă- dear in Romania) | #2406 Dec 09th 2008, 5:44pm

Celtic Aurora/Marisol/ I glanced out the window, seeing the people milling around, not even glancing twice at the truck. I smiled. "Ah, it worked. Good..." /Gabriella/ "Well, it's a good thing they resolved those issues," I said politely to Major Yukimura, before turning my attention back to Hieron. "I'm sorry, you were saying..?" /Aliria/ "All right...I think one more glass and you've had enough, soldat," I told him, taking the glass from him. "Now, as for me...I'm just getting started. One nice thing about vampirism...it takes a lot to get drunk..." ("Soldat"-Romanian for soldier) | #2407 Dec 09th 2008, 6:00pm

vamplady101/Werner/ I smiled, the crinkling of my eyes managed to hide a wince ,at her nails digging into my palm, that would've tugged at my eyes if I was a weaker man . . .but I wasn't--I wore pain well in fact. "There you go--from the horse's mouth herself," I said smiling at the elders before taking her clenched hand and kissing the back of it "lovingly" "She forgot to mention my devilish charm and my incomparable good looks--but I've known that from the first moment, so I forgive her. . " I said with a self satisfying smirk. | #2408 Dec 09th 2008, 6:10pm

SpeedDemon315/Hector/ Glancing up from my map, I nodded in approval to Marisol's handiwork, loving how my men and I, British soldiers were merely plowing through enemy territory with no trouble at all.. "Indeed it did, madame. Fine job, Miss Martines-Van Helsing." /Heiron/ Shaking my head, I replied, "Oh, nothing, really. I was just about to say how I always like some who's eager to learn our culture, that's all." "Yes," mused Casondrah drolly, "Because you have to be hard-pressed to find a drow in these parts." She flashed me and Tinuviel a delighted simper at our astonished features. Major Yukimaru didn't even budge an inch at Casondrah's claim, he simply shifted around in seat like this was an every day occurrence. /Ethan/ The corners of my mouth quirked upward into a lop-sided smile. "Ah, you're quite lucky, angel." My eyes trailed over her form and then caught sight of the window. Dusk had settled across the land which meant I better hit the hey soon. Wearing a remorseful look my face, I took Aliria's hand, saying, "Forgive me, Aliria, but I must bid you adieu. We can continue our chat tomorrow morning." Whether it was the drink or my own impulsiveness that caused me to pull through my actions, I leaned in, pecked her soundly on the lips, and left her room with a snarky grin on my face. /Danica/ My skin burned as Werner's lips met the back of my hand and I masked my irritation well. "Yes, forgive me, elskede, for not stating those apparent factors. Those two traits intrigued me later, I must say." This was simply revolting, playing the role of the happy, blissful bride of Werner while painting an endearing picture of our relationship. Our relation was anything but rose-tinted. "We are pleased to hear such wonderful things about your affinity," remarked Elder Asgeir indifferently, "And to celebrate your marriage, the Swenhaugen House shall host an elaborate party in four days from now. I hope that gives you two and your family, Werner, plenty of time to prepare." (elskede- 'darling' in Norwegian) | #2409 Dec 09th 2008, 6:52pm

Celtic Aurora/Marisol/ "Please...call me Marisol," I told him. "It's not like you'll offend me or anything..." /Gabriella/ I whipped my head around, looking over my shoulder at both of them. How was it that this Casondrah woman knew that Hieron and Tinuviel were drows? /Aliria/ He kissed me. Much to my surprise, he kissed me. It was nothing more than a tiny peck on the lips, but...a kiss none the less. "Wow..." I muttered, before taking a large sip of wine and wondering if I was dreaming. | #2410 Dec 09th 2008, 7:10pm

vamplady101/Werner/ I nodded wearing what can only be interpreted as a challengingly submissive smile. "Why yes, that most certainly should--I thank you Sirs for the time and effort that it must've taken to think so much about Danica and mine own matrimony--" They really didn't give two **.s, I could see clearly, but to rub that brown nose of theirs into a muddy place felt a certain trembling sort of satisfaction. I felt Danica release my hand. I looked at them with out expectation. "What else can I or Lady Hedda possibly oblige you with today?" I asked with a blank expression that seemed Asegir was ignorant of how to respond to. He seemed a suspicious character, I'd have to dig up some dirt on him . . . | #2411 Dec 10th 2008, 2:06am

SpeedDemon315/Hector/ My shoulders did a little shrug at Marisol's words, normally I wasn't so casual or informal around people I barely knew but if that's what she preferred, so be it. "All right, Miss Marisol," I answered blandly and my driver quietly reported to me that Berlin would be in our sights a little before nightfall. Good, I mused inwardly, crossing one leg, This works well into our favor. /Casondrah/ My simper widen at their shock, their expression were absolutely priceless! "I took my while but I was able to pinpoint your aura to an Elvin race. Your dark looks were a dead giveaway." I explained cryptically and then turned my gaze to the mocha-skinned girl Gabriella. "A magic user are you not? There's a mystical air around that quite hard to ignore." /Ethan/ As I went to bed, I couldn't help thinking about how I kissed Aliria. I should have had more tongue in the kiss yet that might have been too much for her. Well, all in all, I kissed her, she didn't stop me so that's not a bad sign. Keep up the great work, Ethan. /Danica/ "Oh, nothing," Elder Asgeir replied monotonously, sharpening his scrutiny to Werner, "But don't be surprised at the party when the whole Swenhaugen clan will like to meet you, Werner. Already the whole house is abuzz with gossip and rumors, just thought I forewarn you a bit. Good day to you all." With a tilt of his head, he and the Elders departed the room after murmuring their farewells to Grandma and Great-Uncle and Werner's sisters. I realized during this whole time, not one of them and inquired about Gwen's presence. How strange. Once the doors were closed, Grandma Hedda turned to us, a sour smile on her face. "Well," she began directly at us, "What did you think of that?" | #2412 Dec 10th 2008, 4:44am
