"Sounds great,I could go for a drink right about now." Carter agreed.

"Don't worry," Carter patted Anne on her head,ruffling her hair, "Some day you'll grow up,and then you'll understand."

"That made no sense,it just didn't fit into the situation." Atticus chimed in.

"You ruin everything." Carter folded his arms across his chest,a mock-pouting look on his face. "Besides,I already knew that,I just thought I'd say it,I like sayin' that,BUT NOOOO,you ruin all my fun." Carter grumbled,looking around at the others.

"Sooooo,where to now ? " Carter asked.

"And no Kenny,you won't get to fly a chopper if we ever end up in one again,it's just too fun being chauffeurs for this odd assortment of zombie killers,even if it IS kinda' stupid and annoying at times." Atticus added in,marching down the street headed for the nearest bar.

"I just won't bother to ask." Carter said,somewhat curious as to what Kenny was refering to,having an already good idea what it could be,and his lust for alchohol was much more demanding than his wanting to know what Kenny had done whenever in his past.

"Yeah, sure. I get it. I'm short. But I'm NOT thirteen. Could a thirteen year old beat the shit out of you? Dontthinkso." She crossed her arms, a defiant expression on her face.

"Hey, wait for me!" She followed the brothers, before adding.

"If anyone asks, I'm 21. And a dwarf."

"Well,no one said we were sane," Atticus added, "But it ain't our bar,and as long as we don't give it to ya,we can't get in trouble,so knock yer self out,ya dumb thirteen year old you." Atticus said,adding in the last just to get in on the annoying of Anne action that was going on at the moment.

Anne crossed her arms. She had meant for it to look defiant, and/or tough, but the effect was as if a five-year-old had been denied a cookie.

"I'm. Not. A. KID!"

Linda just stared at the younger girl for a minute or two, before shaking her head.

"I'm going to try and get some medical attention, see if that hunter ripped out my intestines. Anyone else need help?"

"I could go for some Absolut myself." Atticus said,with a hint of reluctance,pretending to not want to drink but having to,just because he felt like being stupid,possibly illiciting a laugh out of someone,and not being told he was a drunkard because he just didn't feel like hearing it right now,and stepped inside the bar.

"'Ey ! " Carter shouted upon getting near the bar,startling the bartender who looked at the outsider, "Gimme five shots a' Red Label."

"Red Label it is." The man replied,grabbing the bottle,as Atticus sat beside Carter.

"Same." Atticus added in.

"Bet I'll beat ya." Atticus said,as he and Carter went through the glasses,Carter slamming his fifth one down seconds before Atticus.

"How much were you bettin' again ? " Carter asked.

"Piss off." Atticus said,ordering a glass of plain 100 proof Absolut Vodka.

"Fuck yourself." Carter retorted,as he ordered a glass of Hennessey.

((I was gonna' have the brother's walk out,saying something about the local's,having started a fight,then I thought,'nah,I'll have em drink themselves into a coma' but then I figured I'd wait a little while before they fall outta' their seats drunk off their asses and pass out/start a fight........ this is oddly long..... Yes,I do realized I know more about alchoholic drinks than I probably should ^__^ What can I say ? Alchohol is my friend,along with high powered weaponry,a love for the USMC,intense hatred with a burning passion for the USA ((US Army)) ,that and the ability to shoot stuff and piss off PETA n' animal rights activists,that's fun,oh and the NRA.............. best damn activist group.EVER.)) Linda sighed, following the rest of them into the bar.

She sat down, feeling incredibly uncomfortable.

Anne, however, seemed perfectly at home, and seemed to be comteplating what to get.

'Dammit. How many years has it been since I worked at one of these? Stupid stupid stupid. I should be at the hospital, not trying to make sure everyone stays sober enough to stand up.'

"Er....... can I just have some water? I just took a lot of medication....."

"He's right,but plain's better." Atticus said,downing a glass of Jack Daniels.

"Ya know me n' Addie ar quite good bartender's ourselves." Carter said,looking over at Linda.

"Probably 'cause we've been drinking forever,that justmay have someting to do with it." Atticus said.

She took a sip, looking tentative.

"Huh. You're right about something."

She would NEVER get used to saying that.

"Then again, I probably shouldnt doubt your knowlage of alcoholic drinks."

Some things never change....

"Having drinks with friends we've only known for a week,give or take a day or two,wow,we move fast." Carter commented.

"Yeah,but we drink with a lot of people,and sometimes in the first five minutes after meetin' 'em." Atticus said.

"The occasion calls for it whenever that happens." Carter shot back.

"True,true.So very,very true.Usually anyway." Atticus said,laughing, as he went back to his drink.

"Try flyin' that muthafucker drunk ! Fun as hell ! " Carter shouted upon hearing the rotor blade starting up again.

"He's right ! " Atticus shouted out the door,both not really caring that none of the locals had bothered to pay much attention to it before or now or them at all. Maybe an Umbrella town ? Nope. But it would be fun to get to blow the shit outta' a whole town just to get revenge for the past week's events.

"Like, trying to fly a helicopter drunk. Sounds fun, but cant end well. Like a Pill Party. Just doesnt end well."

"I'm not gonna even ask....."

"Fly Kenny fly ! Find a tall building ! It'll be on the news longer ! " Carter shouted,mock-cheering,half serious from the several glasses of alchohol in his system.

"Nuh-uh." Carter said looking at Linda.

"Shut up." Atticus replied to Linda,pretending to be somewhat upset, "So who's up for a wild,drunken,hot n' heavy orgy ? " Atticus randomly asked before bursting out laughing.

"I could go for some wild group sex right about now." Carter said the first thing that came to mind,and he would've said it anyway even if it was the third or fiftieth,which only served to make him laugh more,which was the point,even though it wasn't that funny, the sheer randomness, and the amazingly elated mood they had been in made the alchohol only boost the sensations of happiness.That and they just were in a good mood. Somewhat for no reason. So no reason not to fuel all the randomness.That kind of thing seemed to be working out for them,randomness at every corner, and it all ways seemed to be fun and turn out for the best.

"I've failed at keeping you idiots sober, havent I?"

"NUH-UH ! " Carter said rather loudly, "I KNOW PEOPLE THAT TALK TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE PEOPLE IN THEIR FAMILY THAT KNOW THESE PEOPLE WHO KILL PEOPLE ! I CAN DO ANYTHING I WANT ! SO NYAH ! " Carter stuck his tongue out at Linda playfully with a mock-pout.

"You never really did anything to keep us sober,or even tried,really." Atticus pointed out.

"Yup, " Carter added in, "He has a point.

"Oh well. It would have been impossible anyway. I've done enough impossible by now."

She thought for a minute.

"I'm amazed no one has called the cops on us yet..... doesnt this seem odd? I mean..... we just landed, in a stolen helicopter, covered in blood."

She shrugged and took a gulp from her glass.

"Dumb luck continues."

"I see,so when did it strike you that we had absolutely no luck,or at least not good luck, at all ? " Carter asked.

"Sounds about right." Atticus said.

"Makes sense." Carter agreed.

(BACON!!!)

"You guys are all insane. It's shocking how we survived." Lilly looked from the brothers to Linda and Anne, and then to Kenny and Lyra.

"Yeah....lost my train of thought."

The helocopter landed roughly some dust spilling around as Kenny jumped off a huge smile on his face. "I didnt crash it...this time."

"Bartender. Leave teh bottle. she tossed some money out no the table from her pockets, and grabbed the bottle from his hands perching herself in a low booth, and taking a swig.

"See ya Lindy." Anne mumbled, still thinking.

"C'mon Junior, you're not staying here."

"Well,we're off to find some other trouble." Atticus slurred every word as Carter stumbled by,bottles clutched against his chest.

"That's right,we've gotta' find some way of being a pain in the ass on a slightly larger scale now." Carter said,just as slurred,waving at Lyra with Atticus as the two left.

Minutes later,Atticus was leaning over a car door,seconds later,it was open,and running,as was the one Carter had been near and they were off,new cars,and they were looking for something to do,most likely steal more shit,probably new clothes first.
