Topic: Suggestions for Places
I just thought this could be a good idea for us to add onto this forum. This is a good way to develop new locations within the New World(btw good term for it Rahk). As we're pressed for new areas, I think just about any suggestion(as long as it isn't completely outrageous) will be useable. Another reason for setting this up is because of the fact that this RP was set up to replace another one. In the old one(only helpa and I were the only folks here who were really active in it, Pheonix was a member I believe but that isn't important) there were some sweet fields that we had come up with(ie Dagda's Fortress). However, we can only use fields that are our own creations. We can't use any that were used by other players of the old RP(I know very few of us even remember it but I have to say anyway). They tend to get incredibly testy about it and who wouldn't? So, any ideas have to be original, from the old RP or if you think them up right now. Have fun folks.

Here's my suggestion(s):

Gamma Server: Dagda's Fortress(currently occupied by Morganna, credit to helpa for idea of the Morganna occupation): This fortress was constructed by Dagda in his younger days, built onto a server separate from the World itself. However, the only way to access it is from the World. Dagda built this place as a place to operate out of, as he used to run a clan of hackers. Some features of the fortress, although few are still intact, include: a large portal back from the days when gates were the only mode of transport, an armoury containing a massive stockpile of weapons, armour, and even a few barrels of gunpowder. A stable was used to house the grunties for use by the cavalry, but it is long since destroyed. There were dungeuns underneith the main complex used to house prisoners. It was infiltrated by a part Morganna during the fire at CC Corp and is currentyl under her control.

Omega Server: Dagda's New Fortress: Improved version of the old one. Only someone with one of Dagda's amulets can access it, besides Scarlet. It is protected against all outside forces aside from those permitted to go there.

White Server: A secret server only accesable by top of the line hackers (i.e. Helba, Biff, Dagda), very few rouge A.I. (i.e. Aura, Morgan, skeith) and can be accessed in few locations, for those who are not of the above. Warp gate of root towns, bottom of feild, specail servers such as Dagda) Plus the only way a normal player can access it is by asking an A.I., any would do but getting there, you would have to go through morganna. Or you can hitch a ride with one of the people listed above. This room was made by Harold and is the heart of the game. Aura sleeps here with Scarlet closely watching as the ruler of the field. The white server is made of one room which can hold others, this room is called the white room, because of it being white. The white room seems to span on forever but there are certin key points of the white room that are linked with others, only Scarlet, Aura, and Morganna know of them though. This is where Scarlet resides at, this field can be protected from hackers of even Helba's level because it holds Aura and Scarlet and the black box.

(i would like to say that aura is asleep and intill we get a litte bit along in the game it should stay that way)

Inami Server: A sever made by a friend of a friend of Ryu it can only be accesable by those who Ryu accept.

THey don't have to be "freinds" per say but they must at lest have qualtiy.

Anyone who enters can find many good items at a fair price unlike in Root towns, Their are fair number of towers and anceint tower in this field.

Their also a rumor that their are three hidden wepons of each class: Multiclass blade, Heave, and Wave.

BUt pple had given up three months ago. Ryu seems to know where the items are but hasn't taken any of the three.

even hackers cannot find these rare items b ut there was a saying long ago:

"For those who seek power will gain power. those who seek love will find love, and those find haterd will gain more power and thats how you find the key"

does that have anything to do with the three wepons or twilight???

(I want to make another one...) (It's not exactly a server but...)

The Dragon Gate way: Is a field similair to a lost ground. (Keywords: Unforgiving Neverending Day) But is a land hidden inside the twilight it's self. It's a santucary for three warriors who are to be said to Protect the Twilight by all means.

But after a great battle they dissapper forgotten by the World a Thing nothing similair to a virues or databug but something made by the World itself haunts the Dragon Gate way.

The field Has a big BIG Sancuaryt (not church).

when u log in there's three brigdes and three gate ways... On the left there's after u go in you'll find only another bigde that leads to a far place u cannot see.

The Right way when u enter the Sancuary u find a earth a dead earth... and something else.

In the middle were the BIG santuary u find three wells around on big one with black water.

(When go farther into the story I'll explain more)

Oh no, this place is just a town made by CC Corp, accessable by anyone at anytime, just like any other average field in the World. I just noticed, we have a lot of fortress type places lol. It isn't at all like yours. By saying there is a lot of trade and commerce I just mean that it's popular for that, sort of a spot well known for salepeople.

I've got one that should sound familiar~

THETA: Infinite Data Sentient(Also known as Epsilon Server)

A server from the days of R:1, home to the now dis-banned Order of Lorelei. It was strangely resurrected, it is now in ruins obviously because of the battle that took place there the last time it was played in. Though Lorelei is gone, the area is stumbled upon by the Boredom Fighters Brigade. Because no normal players seem to know about it's existence, Davis decides to make it the BFB's "The World" branch Head Quarters. Unlike in R:1 where the area was severely protected, there is a set of key words on every server that will bring you to this area. It takes the forms of a large mid-evil castle in ruins. However, there is still enough of it standing for it not to be dangerous. The Library of Lorelei is still in tact, meaning the BFB potentially have all the records of everything that happened in R:1 at their finger tips. However, with the software upgrade to R:2, the library stopped being able to record data, and thus is useless if current information is necessary.

HOME TOWN server: Made by Hopez in the First game and protected when the game changes into The World R:2 he dears this place very much and stands in the middle of the Whole city only sitting.

Home town looks like a metifor(sp?a dream like) of a city: The builings are curved the world has a blood red moon and an Grey brown sky and the City is colored as a grey/yellow/ light brown.

Home Town can onlt be access into by only VERY few people and I mean few... The only people that can enter(that u know are) :Dagda,Scarlet, and Helba.

It's a great base area u can directly log into the City and not be know u had logged in by no one or system or anything. But Hopez is very fond of his HOME TOWN so u would have to pay ALOT of money so it be wise to wait intill ur sure u needed it.

(If u can log in it's because he let u)

Hinamizawa Server: A test server set up by CC Corperation for the ultiminte gaming experience. It is set up like a small rural village. Upon entering the server, the players conciousness is transfered into the character, but you can still log out. However, anything that happens to you inside the game, happens to your body outside.

Aurora Plain: An area accessible only to Wavemasters. The three words are: "Natural Mystic Sprite". Most of the monsters here give out various items that aid wavemasters. It's set up as a small gated field in which there are a few trees and a breeze that's always blowing towards an ocean that can't be reached.

-Yulia City-

The base for the Florian Faction of the Order of Lorelei. It is a secret server, CC Corp nor the Tuatha de Danaan nor the Grand Maestro's Faction know of it's existance. When the order splits, the Florian Faction will use this as the base for the Order.

Yulia City is dark, surrounded by a sea of miasma and mud, and it appears to be underground. There is a large glowing stone in the center of it, and all of the buildings are connected from inside. There are no doors, but strange light covers door ways so you can't see inside them. You need to have an identification as a member or guest of the City to get into any door.

To get to Yulia City, you must first go to the area 'Malkuth Aramis Spring', a unique area with an equally unique dungeon. The dungeon starts off as a cave with lots of water around it, until you reach the last room which is an outdoor cavern with a water fall falling into a shallow pool of water. In that pool, you need to use the key words 'Qlipoth Yulia Road' and you will be warped to a room in Yulia City called the Yulia Road Room. From there, you will exit out into the city. The Yulia Road door is the only one where identifcation is not needed to exit.

Frozen Tortuous Blizzard

A snow filled area which was created for Buko after he got promoted to his administrator position. The field is a snow covered plain with a blizzard always raging across it. The middle of the field is a giant disc of ice that slowly rotates and floats slightly above the main field. In the distant there is a small palace guarded by a wall of ice that Buko uses to meet with his team and discuss the latest assignment given to him by his boss, Kaname. The only way to access Frozen Tortuous Blizzard is to either have a direct invitation by Buko or another one of his team.

Inverted Castle: (Bitter Fantasy Mirror World)

A castle that once hung upside-down in the skies of the Theta server. Partially destroyed and now sealed off from the rest of The World. Poor Luck managed to get back in, and modified Featherduster's character data to allow her inside when she became his assistant. Poor Luck uses Inverted Castle as one of his bases of operation in The World, due to it's seclusion - no one can get in unless their character is specially modified, and almost no one knows Inverted Castle still exists. However, the gate that accesses Inverted Castle at Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground may still exist...

Graceful Illusion's Moonlight:

A peaceful field with no monsters and gorgeous scenery. Featherduster has declared this field to be Quiet Haven territory, and it is generally considered to be Quiet Haven's base. A psudo-Root Town has formed here since, with many players setting up meeting grounds and trading stations in this neutral territory. Featherduster herself is often found here.

Dog Dancing Swift Nemesis:

A dusty, red desert with interesting rock formations and middle-level monsters. Prone to violent sandstorms that can block out the mini-map. Another field controlled by Quiet Haven. This field was once said to be a base for a gang of professional PKers, but none of them are around anymore.

Justice Bound Skeleton King:

A murky field with higher level monsters. Fossilized skeletons of giants lie scattered in various positions, leading people to believe that a war between giants was waged in this area. Aside from the massive, ancient, fossil-black skeletons, this field is nothing but black dirt and black rocks. It has low visibility due to the constant murk. This field was recently claimed by Quiet Haven.

Dead Spire (Witless Fearsome Devil's Due):

A dangerous, though fairly obscure field. It takes the form of an ominous, towering mountain - players entering the field start on a plateau area just above a cloudbank that blocks the lowest reaches from view or access. This field also has a dungeon of narrow, winding tunnels that opens at Dead Spire's peak. The dungeon is a veritable maze and it is easy to get lost. Dead Spire has many monsters at the highest levels scattered around on the mountainside and inside the tunnels. The monster portals on Dead Spire regenerate after a random amount of time, adding to the danger level of the field. Members of Terra Imperfecta have made Dead Spire their base of operations, only increasing the field's difficulty. There was a rumor that this field was meant to replace the original One Sin event from The World R:1.

Dark Field (keywords unknown):

An field drowned in darkness. The only known landmass in the field is a medium-sized island, situated in a dark sea. There are old ruins of a lost civilization scattered around the island. Floating over the center of this island is a strange, enormous crystal block that floats in midair. The crystal has upwards-reaching roots that appear to connect to regular fields inside of The World, but this field seems to exist outside of The World as much as it does inside of it. A strange light beats a heartbeat inside the crystal block, providing the dim illumination that this field recieves. Nothing else is known about this otherwise forgotten field.

Castle Stonehold (High Justice's Fire):

A round castle set in the middle of a wide open plain. The headquarters of the new Crimson Knights. Contains barracks, training rooms, a dungeon (with firewalls to keep offenders from busting out and/or warping away), and other useful facilities. At the moment it is wider than it is tall, but it boasts a formidable and highly advanced defense system and holds the high ground in the field for further tactical advantage.

1000 Oaks Fantasy Scent:

A large field completely filled with a forest of gigantic redwoods. The monsters here vary in strength from extremely weak to extremely tough. It's a place that's easy to get lost in. Yet another field claimed by Quiet Haven.

~Pugnaculum Superum(Fortress of the Gods)~

A city made entirely of crystal, it is the base for the little known organization known as Sanctuary. It is massive, everything about it is huge. The area it covers in unmeasurable because it is so large. The main area is centred on a town square and a gigantic palace. There is no known way to enter this server. Like the server that used to house Dagda's fortress, this place is technically not part of the World, but unlike Dagda's old server, this one is impossible to access(by anyone so don't say they can!) by anyone who doesn't already know how. It requires Sanctuary-style magic/hacking to enter.

The White Room: The main description is in my post above, but it also homes as the HQ for The Red Five.

Revis Cannal: The Revis Cannal (This is how its pronouced: Re-Ves Ka-noel) Is a mobile smaller HQ of The Red Five. It is a massive wooden pirite looking ship, but it is a very advanced ship. It travels through data flows of the world to go by undetected. It does have sheilds and battle cannons as a just in case. You have to know excatecly how to use a very very rare item to get aboard it. It also can rip holes in data (such as Helba did in .hack//mutation) to drop off or load passangers or items.

(I will post the new CC Corp servers up latter)

Lost in the Shadow
Anias' Field

Keywords: Lost Twin Daydream

A field with nothing but rolling grassy hills, lacking even the monsters of most areas. Here is where Anias first found himself when he died.

Just thought I'd put it up, as my character's in this place alot.

~Backwards Ancient Gears~

An overly large clocktower that sits in the middle of a vast grassy plain. No known monsters have appeared on the plain or inside the tower itself, however, a user similar to Buko has been seen near the top where the ancient glass clock resides.

~The Plains~

The plains is just that, plains. Large parts of grass, dirt, sand, and blown apart rocks. There are in fact two rocks. One is designed by Rune, and when activated, will explode. The other is a normal rock that looks like a Grunty.

~Dead Forest~

The dead forest is hard packed dirt, dead trees, and some rocks. There is only one thing that doesn't belong. Via 'rules' this area, but anyone can enter. Enter the forest, until you get to a clearing. There, you will most likely find Via.

Under an archway created of two dead trees, branches intertwined is a flat rock. Via usually sits there. Various monsters wander the area, but seem to avoid that clearing.

~(Tuathan) Mac Anu~

Basically the same as the old Mac Anu, but with a very noticeable graphics improvement. Given to the players of the World freely by the Tuatha De Danaan, it also contains a massive arena done in the style of the city (as in the same sort of architecture) to replace the Arena of Lumina Cloth. This new arena, much larger and more grandiouse than the one it replaces, is to be used by a new event sponsored by the Tuatha, known for now only as The Games.

~Sigma: Hidden Truth's Weed-Eater~

A field on the Sigma server, accessible from Fort Ouph. It has the appearance of a never-ending dusty plain, full of rocks, dust, and the odd stand of reedy weeds. The ground goes in gentle swells and the field itself is many times larger than most fields. The entire field is covered in thick green-brown murk that limits people's range of vision. In addition, the game's mapping function does not work in this area.

An oddity about the field is that its data is completely unchangable and undeletable. It is completely admin-proof and hacker-proof, but since no one has ever found anything particularly interesting in that field, no one has really noticed this strange oddity. Those who do know of the field have speculated that it might be something like a Lost Ground or Legendary Land...

~Delta: Hidden Truth's Sea of Sand~

Amazingly enough, it's another gigantic section of the same field found in Sigma: Hidden Truth's Weed-Eater. If one knew the right direction to go in while crossing the murky field, they could move between Delta and Sigma servers easily this way. Like the rest of the field, the field data here in immutable.

There are old paving stones, ones that make out a vague shape of an old road, to be found by the Chaos Gate here.

~Tir Na Nog~

Another Tuatha field, being a place created to replace the destroyed New Bristol as the public headquarters of the organization.

Unlike its predecessor, Tir Na Nog is extremely peaceful, and significantly less developed in terms of buildings. The harbour is empty of all craft, since the mighty Tuatha navy has been placed in storage after it was crippled by the efforts of Terra Imperfecta.

As suggested, the scenary is much the same. The field was built off of the same template that Dagda used to create New Bristol. However, the graphical appearance is of a much higher grade, very realistic. The majority of the settled part of the field is a grassy hill set next to a coast. In fact, New Bristol was on a hill, much the same as this one, though the city and port effectively disguised the landscape.

Tir Na Nog the town is a small settlement where several hundred Tuatha will often dwell. The majority of the buildings are stone huts built around the hill, upon which sits a square where many important structures are situated. While there is no fortress present, there is instead a building designated the High King's Hall, where the important figures gather for meetings and such. A market sits at the calm shore, and all in the World are invited to come to trade there. Many shops have been set up here by the Tuatha for the sale of various goods, many of which are rare. None of the goods offered are illegal, unlike in New Bristol; this is in accordance with Dagda's agreement with Silver Knight.

There are several events that will periodically occur here, challenges of skill or intelligence. These are yet to be announced.

A special building also was set up here for the winners of the Games in Mac Anu. The Hall of the Victors contains video files of the final battles of the Games, a statue of the Victor set up beside each viewing screen for their respective match.

Celtic music always fills the air of Tir Na Nog, setting an air of light-heartedness and freedom.

Though ultimately this field falls under the rule of Dagda, Danu is generally the one directly governing this colony; thankfully Nuada has elected to make it his personal task to keep her in her place.
