Allen is called "The Destroyer of Time" (It refers to the Millenium Earl) a rather horrifying nickname. Plus, Rinali has seen a dream about the destruction of the HQ of the Dark Religion Organisation. If you notice, Allen is lying on her lap, covered, but we can see his red arm, so we know it's him. I don't believe that this is some kind of possible future, since Rinali has long hair and now they're short. I believe it's what Rinali fears the most: Destruction from Allen.

Not to mention that Allen saw exactly the same when he "died", but from the opposite side. It certainly has to do with this eye of his. Plus, when he tried to reach the image of her, someone caught his hand, someone who looked like an opposite him, with a smile that reminding the Earl's smile.

We have seen him going berserk and he acted like an Akuma: Just like Akuma want to kill, kill humans, Allen wants to kill, kill the Akuma. Both drunk in the sense of destruction, both wanting to kill.

As he had said to Bak, "I'm a weapon" and not just because he's a parasyte type. Can you say that Allen is any different from an Akuma in this case? No. But, we do say that the Akuman are "bad" or "evil". For Allen, is the case of "too much power in a too small body". Very dangerous, and not only for the enemies.

And what about his final form? He became a "Crowned Clown" and the Earl does look like a clown. In the manga, their similarity is obvious, there's even a cover with them side by side and they look so alike.

Moreover, not even the Noahs are totally evil. According to them, they are Noah's children and Noah WAS God's first apostole. What he did? He let everybody else drown and saved only his own family. And we say that Apostoles are "good" and "saints", but not the Noahs? Plus, they have their own truth about this world. They believe that humans are the bad ones. And they're not so wrong, if you think how the human race has polluted the world. It's like the Noah's flood is repeating itself: All the humans destroyed, save for the Noah family. But, we say that this destruction was "good". What if it's the same case here?

Think about Eliade. She was an Akuma, but she clearly had feelings for Crowley. It was her wish to find a man to be with, and she had accepted the fact that he was suppposed to kill her, since she was an Akuma. In ch 109, her soul encourages him to go on fighting, something "good". Yet, she is an Akuma, something "bad".

All in all, no one in this story is 100% good or a 100% bad. There's only gray and Allen is the living proof of this, both because he sees and because he is.

Now: The list the Earl gave to Tiki was a list with all the relations of the traitorious Noah's and Cross Marian's. No, the fact that the human whom the Noah gave the right to guide the Ark to was a theory of the Earl's. Now, IF Cross IS that one human, of course Allen is related, since he was Cross' student.

However, this for far relation has nothing to do either with Allen's double nature, or why the color "gray" (between black and white) exists. It's not even a solid point.

Allen loves the Akuma for he's the only one who can understand their pain and MOSTLY because he himself made his father one. For that, he's a sinner and he tries to find forgiveness (not from God, but from himself) by loving Akuma, thus killing them, by loving humans, thus saving them.

BTW, in ch 113, there's another hint for Allen's evil side: Tiki calls him "White Demon". Now, in Japan, there is a lot of tradition about demons. They are not always related to the evil, simply to magic. However, D.Gray-man, being based off Christianism, relates them as they are in this religion, thus Allen is called something "evil". Not by nature, but by the gigantic powers he has. A WHITE devil, something between evil (devil) and good (the color white).
