Well, Kin was SUPPOSED to have started this...two weeks ago. Since she's apparently been procrastinating AGAIN! I shall take up this challenge.

It is simple. When a story comes into the "I'll read your KH story topic" whoever is interested in reading the story will come in here and claim it. There is no limit on the amount of people that can read the story. If you would like, you could also discuss the story here is you would like.

I do ask though that whoever would like to join this "sign up" with this. All that is needed is what type of story you like to read, and what type you don't like to read. After that, claim any story that comes here. Also, you can't claim your own story (for obvious reasons).

Stories I like: Action, sometimes a bit of fluff, main pairing of SXK with RXN thrown in there, and KH3 (or KH2 sequel fics that may take place several years after KH2) theory fics.

Stories I don't like: Anything Yaoi and Yuri, High School fics, and most of the time in general, AU fics.

Also, those people who check out this topic, you can use this as a more active way of replying to people who review and discuss the story here. You can get a better feeling of how they felt about it, and add you're own comments. Have fun.

Stories I don't like: Yaoi, Yuri, High School Fics, any 'M' rated fics, Lemons, fics with ALOT of cussing or sexual innuendos, 'sucked into Kingdom Hearts' fics (unless written extremely well), fics where the Org gets a new member (unless written extremely well)

Stories I can Put up with: Limes, shounen-ai (sp?) [though it has to be mild], pairings would be SeiferHayner, AxelRoxas

Well, I think that covers almost everything.

Stories I Like: Action/Adventure, some Romance, Angst, Horror, Supernatural......heck, lets just put it this way, if I take a liking to the story itself I'll read it regardless of the genre.

Stories I Don't Like: Yaoi, Yuri, and High School fics, and some AUs, it all depends on what kind we're talking about.

I know this has been said several times but I'll say it again for myself. If I claim a story and don't review it in a timely manner, my apologies, I'll get to it when I can.

:D Okay, you guys make me feel really sheepish... I am a procrastinator! But proud of it, as much as that is possible...

Anyways, this is awesome, I can't wait for this to get started. I've been a little out of it with the reviewing lately, so this should help me stay on track! We're going to officially start with the next story that gets posted. Let's also try to make sure at least a couple people review each story, because we want to get the posters as much support as possible, so don't just overlook a story if it's already been taken.

I wanna thank everyone who's reviewed someone else's story that's been posted. You guys have been really great. I'll go to a story, and usually at least three of you have already reviewed it. Thanks for that!

Stories I like: Anything that's written well that doesn't fall into my dislike category. But my favorite is romance, adventure, and the occasional fluffy comedy. I also like suspense and mystery. I like stories that center around the main characters from the game (i.e. Sora, Kairi, Riku, Roxas, Mickey) more than side characters, but that's not a main concern.

Stories I don't like: Yaoi, Yuri, "I've been sucked in KH world", lemon

Stories I don't like, but I'll probably read for the forum: high school fics, organization XIII crack fics

As for pairings, I like canon the best, by far. But that doesn't really matter, I'll read other pairings, because it's all about how the author portrays them.

Well, we got our next story, and I think that I'll take this one. Whoever else wants it, feel free to take it too.

I also claim Kingdom Hearts: Souls of Dawn, I'll get to reading and reviewing as soon as I can.

I reviewed the first two chapters, I can't say I'm impressed, but I'm a hard guy to impress so call it a personality flaw :P I personally think a beta reader could help with most of the grammatical problems the story has, I found them in quite an abundance. Also I think the author needs to take more time in his writing. Any thoughts and more con crit from anyone else?

Well, once you get to the third chapter, it starts to get worse. There are some awkward sentences in there, misplaced capitalization, it feels like there are a lot of run on sentences.

I would also strongly agree with you on the more time writing. If you look at when the story was published, and when it was updated, he updated the story almost everyday.

I also agree with you on the Beta Reader, he needs one fairly bad.

Like I told him, for a first start, not bad, but if you start to look outside of that, it is somewhat okay to okay.

I've read it. It's so-so.

One of the things I didn't like was that the story was rushed, and we had nothing on the OC. He was just thrown in there. Hopefully in future chapters we here more on him.

I would agree strongly on the OC. At first I was wondering "who the heck is this guy??"

I also agree on the rushing part of it, it's like "okay, do this, this, this, this, this all in three chapters"...whew. He could do a little bit more description, and break everything up into a few more chapters.

first off, this is the wrong topic, you want to put this in the "I'll read you KH stories". Second, if you read above, none of us are really into Yaoi or Yuri (a.k.a gay pairings), and I don't think too many people around here are fans of it. Most of us are fans of cannon pairings such as Sokai and Namixas.

Alright, I'm up for the challenge. (o.o I don't see any stories that you guys were talking about though.)

Stories I like: Adventure, SoraxOC pairings, a little bit of fluff, really long chapters that keep me reading, humor fics, sequel fics, mystery, verbiage :D, and I love me some sarcasm ;D.

Stories I don't like: Poorly written stories (need some sort of spell check), yaoi/ yuri, complete fluff to the point where it's pointless to continue the story, stories with fairytale endings, and complete cliche (need some of that lemon twists)

Stories I might be able to tolerate: Lime, Lemon (big difference), horror..

Stories I don't like: Mary sue fics, gorefest stories, OOC, high school fics, anything with only romance and nothing else. Lime (I like stories that have plots, not just constant sex.)

Yay. We finally got someone who will read a yaoi fic.

Well I see a lot of yaoi fics being turned down, so I'll step to the plate and read them. But the catch is this, I'll only read it if all characters in all in character, not OOC. There's nothing bad in yaoi and I understand that a lot of people dislike it, so no worries.

Well, as a guy, I think it is pretty obvious as to the reason that I don't like Yaoi. But it's good that we finally have SOMEONE here that doesn't mind it. WE'RE EXPANDING!!! (and just in time too, with summer I expect to see this topic and the "I'll read your KH stories" topic to shoot up in number of posts).

Thanks Ichi and Divine, I appreciate the help. I like the fact that someone here will read yaoi and yuri. Now we don't have to turn down anyone! And for a update of sorts, there are three or four stories that have come up pretty recently that someone needs to review. I think we should start using this topic to its actual full extent. And I thought since the premise of this topic is to discuss it as a group and give our input before we post our reviews, I think a more efficient way would to be to create a new topic with the stories title for a name. We discuss the story there, and offer to let the author look at that particular topic before deleting it and moving onto the next one. This is just one of my ideas in its infant stage, let me know what ya'll think.

That's understandable, not a lot of girls like yuri either, so it's all even. I just don't like when people diss yaoi or yuri in a harsh way and keep saying that the main female should be always be with the main male. The yaoi fans understand that the yaoi pairing will never be official, but nothing wrong of pairing the male character with another male. I should probably start reading that yaoi fanfic that was mentioned earlier in the forum.

Hey guys, just letting you know that we have an AU fic that needs reading. If I haven't stated that I don't like AU's all that much already I'll say it again. "I don't like AU's" lol, the link is located on the last post in the "I'll Read Your Stories" topic. I created this topic so that we could all pitch in and review stories, however it seems like myself, Kai, and Fantasy are the only three people really doing this. Me and Kai have talked this over, and we have come up with a new rule if you wish to join this. You must have two or more stories that are currently topics going at the same time. Example, lets say that the Redeemer topic gets taken down, and that is one of the two stories you are working on, you now have to find a new story that is a topic to review. We recognize that some of you have jobs and lives, but all we are asking is that you do two stories, thats all. If anyone has any, and I mean ANY, questions, feel free to PM me.

Stuff I like: Post-KH2, crossovers, implied-in-the-canon pairings, adventure, humor...eh, most stuff that isn't below.

Stuff I'm iffy on: Yaoi (XemSai is definitely readable), randomness, AU fics, high school, self-insert stories (depends on how well written), romance in general (I know, I should be shot for the last one).

Stuff I don't like: Serious, down-and-dirty romance. All-yaoi, yuri, Mary-Sue-ness, OC overloads, horror, gore.

I have to say now I'm guilty of half the things in the "iffy" section, so I'd be a real hypocrite if I said I wouldn't read it. XD And to let you know beforehand, I am a Grammar Nazi. I strike fear into the hearts of typos everywhere. __

you know something, I just realized that with summer, some of you have jobs that you have to do. If your job (or you have a really good excuse, as in approved by myself or another mod) conflicts with this, I understand and I won't force you to do two stories. I don't want this to feel like another job, I realize how tiring 8 hours of work can be.

Okay, so I figure if I read more fanfiction, it, in turn, will make me a better fanfiction writer. So why not, I guess.

I like: Well-written Donald and Goofy, Organization good-times fics, humor and parodies, an action fic with some good OCs, fanfics that show scenes that weren't in-game(like when Donald and Goofy left Sora to follow Riku, scenes like that), post-KH2 era, Luxord's eloquence, Pete or anything Pete-related

Sick to death of: AkuRoku, high school AUs, Zemyx, KH3 speculation fics that go on for so many chapters that the plot isn't even a factor of it anymore

I don't like: Overused or uninteresting characters, fanfiction with characters whose games haven't released yet, extra FFVII people showing up in everything for no reason, everybody and their momma wielding a Keyblade

I see that a lot of you don't like yaoi, Mary Sues, and all that bad stuff, but if there's a story so bad that nobody'll read, I take it. Really, there's a whole lot of stuff I don't wanna read, but there's also nothing I won't.

Well, neither am I, when it comes to Kingdom Hearts anyway.

To me, it's just weird to have the KH cast cursing more than you can count on your hand. xD

But doesn't cursing make them more human and teenager like? Well, I shouldn't say anything right now, I'm not really into rated M stories myself, but if someone can pull it off without going over the top then I'll accept it. Thing is, if the story is about basically a sex romp then I'm not reading it.

You see, what I meant to say was too much cursing makes a character really OoC. There're plenty of stories like that.

Hahaha, I mostly meant sexual stuff (I even went so far as to avert my eyes when I was reading through Eclipse/Breaking Dawn), but over-the-top cursing gets annoying too. I start losing track of what the heck they're trying to rant about. But it can sometimes makes them seem more humanlike--IF they're that kind of person (like Barret from Final Fantasy VII, who can curse up and down and still seem in character).

Stories I like: AU (make it tasteful, or I'm not convinced), Angst/Adventure/Romance/Mystery/Drama, "detective-like" stories (where you don't know what'll happen next, and then the punchline gets you good), pure fantasy can never go wrong -- unless you're ludicrous, sexual content is good if it's reasonable and intelligent, not overly hormonal

Stories I don't like: Yaoi/Yuri/Crack (they're just wrong on so many levels), Highschool fics, too gorey, raunchy & pure lemon fics, randomized and extreme crossovers

I'll give it a go. I in fact have a KH3 story posted...Hardly anyone's looked at it, or reviewed it... I am a new writer here.

What is an OC fic? Is it one of those fanfics that only revolve around an OC/a group of OCs, or is it the canon characters plus an OC/group? (I should have so figured this out by now.)

You're right Akira, you should know that by now :P. But what you said is exactly right, it revolves around a group of OCs, generally having little or no contact with canon characters.
