Topic: I'll Read Your Stories!

Ok! If you're here and you want us to read your story, just go ahead and tell us so we can get reading. You can just tell us the title of the story and we can find it on your profile, or you can post a link. Please DO NOT post the link to the preview of the story you can find on your login page. No one but the author can go to any link that has "story_preview" in it.

I'm not really a big fan of slashes, AkuRoku, yaoi... you get the picture. There ARE good stories of that kind out there, but I think you'll have more luck on a different forum.

After you ask us to read your story, it'd be cool if you read my story, and anyone else's who ask for people to read and review. If we all read and review each other's stories, we can become better writers.

I'm not sure if this fourm is still alive but I'll give it a go.

I'm writing a prequel to Kingdom Hearts with OC's in it, and hopefully if I ever finish, I want to make a KH3. It has some connections with the words from the secret movie like Chasers, Master of Keyblade, Birth by sleep, and even Xehanort is in it.

It's called "Kingdom Hearts:Genesis" It begins long before KH1 and KH2 (hence Genesis) I hope it's a good start, hoping that the OC's are not Mary/Gary Sues.

Do you have any idea how hard it is write OC's without saying that word? I want an opinon on the plot and characters to help improve.

Well, most of it has to do with spring break with people out of town and such.

I know how you feel, I don't get reviews as well and I'm guessing that it's because people hate OC's and afraid of the Mary Sue thing.

Yah, I used to never read anything with an OC in it, but then when I finally did, I was like, "hey this is great!".

If you guys want to read a fic with a great OC, you should check out That's Why by Talitha Koum. It's really good (so far). And it has over 900 reviews!

But anyways, I'm sorry if I'm behind in reading your story, it's just that I have about four projects and abajillion tests/quizzes. So I'll get back into them once this all settles down.

Don't worry about it. Again it's spring break. I understand what going through. What really gets me mad is the Mary Sue thing. To me, as long as it's good, I could care less. But there are people that just go over the top with it and don't want a change in something.

By the way, I think I read some of that story. It's interesting.

Well, my story has a little bit of Namiku and it'll reveal the origins of Riku's parents in later chapters. I hate my summary since there's a character limit, so here's a different summary.

A new journey leads to new possibilities. Nobodies and Heartless still ravage many worlds in search of hearts. Riku enters the darkness, not only to protect his friends from Xehanort and himself, but to find the answer to a burning question. What he doesn't realize, is that he's been running from the answer the whole time. Kairi gets kidnapped yet again (How original U_U) for some unknown reason. Sora, Donald, and Goofy travel through worlds, new and old, to save Kairi and defeat the darkness born from Riku's heart. A mysterious diary has fallen in Sora's hands, but many of the pages are missing, so this is just another objective for Sora.

It's only up to its 6th chapter, but I'm working on the 7th one right now.

I cannot think of anything to write about that deals with Kingdom Hearts! The last thing i thought of was a Kingdom Hearts/Saw crossover buts thats it, can anyone else think of some more inspiration for me?

Yah, I got your PM about that, but to tell you the truth, I don't think the Saw thing would work. Kingdom Hearts just isn't dark enough. I mean, it'd probably work, but...

Anyways, by way of crossovers, you could really pick anything and base your story off of it. Or you could go cannon and write some oneshots. They'll be good fillers until you can think of a great story idea.

Anyone got any other ideas?

Sora and Riku agree to go to the South to escape the tension from the north.

Another is Survival.

Sora and Riku are in Nazi Europe and have to survive whereever world war 2's wings reach.
