I've been wondering for a while the pairings liked here at ff.net. So what's your fav pairing?

XD excilent toppic! I'll pin it! ^^; I know I'm a bit weird so here goes.

My top pairing is WatTat, these are the ones i write too.

and i dreamed once that i was Kazusa and was doing some searious snuggling with Tsuzuki. that would only work if she grew up, but it was an amuzing dream. So yeah, I'd like to imagine a 20 year old Kazusa just up and deciding she wants to be a shinigami...

^_^ I like Watari/Hisoka and Watari/Tatsumi as well, but Tatsumi/Hisoka is still my fav. ^^

That would be awesome to have a 20-year-old Kazusa, if she hadn't died, but still. ^^

Well now THAT's easy...for me at least. Though, I haven't been able to bite into the mangas, so it might change once I get me paws on them!

I'm one of the rare Muraki/Tsuzuki fans... Ive only writtten for that pairing. Though I know someones going to kill me for killing Hisoka off in one of my stories.

XD it won't be me. i'm not entirely fond of Hisoka. besides, if he wasn't around Tsuzuki would completely be after Muraki...

I'm an odd person, I think that Tsuzuki should be the uke in ANY pairing(Yes, you got me right, even Hisoka would be the seme in their relationship. But I don't like this pairing anyway...)

You, too, huh? I think Tsuzuki is a uke to anyone (even Hisoka or Hijiri) too. It's just natural for him!

I have to admit, I'm one of the rare Tsuzuki/Tatsumi fans. Even though most of what I actually *write* ends up as Tsuzuki/Hisoka. I've never been a fan of Tatsumi/Watari though - it seems to me that it's just fanwriters pairing off the remaining characters.

I share the same thoughts with bluestar... I don't see Tatsumi and Watari being together, it's just weird to me, no offence to Tatari fans O_O

I like Tatsumi/Tsuzuki too, though not as much as I do Muraki/Tsuzuki.

Muraki is too disturbing @.@

Tsuzuki/Hisoka shipper, but more on the platonic side of things. I just love how they interact act with each other, and in the future imagine they would get quite comfortable working together.

crack!fanon pairing would be Hijiri/Hisoka *whistles*

I like a Muraki uke too (Tatsumi/Muraki esp.) but am I just missing them or something? Haven't found too many here, at least of adult Muraki. . . .

I'm a minor character junkie through and through, so I'm into some weird stuff:

Saki/Kazutaka

Satomi/Muraki

Oriya/Ukyo

Hisoka/Wakaba

Hijiri/Yamashita

Tsuzuki/Kira

Focalor/Izuru

Mitani/Izuru

Mitani/Fujisawa

And cos there has to be some yuri in there somewhere, Chizuru/Rika. Even Tsubaki/Irene would be sweet on some level.

I concur with Tsuzuki/Hisoka on a more platonic level, or an unrequited level. I can see there being some tension there, but I prefer the tension being unresolved to them being a happy couple. Kind of like how Muraki/Tsuzuki is just so rich and twisted on so many levels (echoes of incest/narcissism and blasphemy and your not-very-garden variety obsession) that just sticking them together doesn't do much for me. I want nuance, darn it.

I did read a great Muraki/Hijiri a while back. "Eye For An Eye" by Ghost Whisper.

This being a YnM forum, someone was bound to bring up the subject of pairings.

Me...I'm open on pairings. I see the series as having many suggestions as to possible pairings, but disagree with those who claim it's out-and-out shounen-ai.

I don't actually like Tsuzuki/Hisoka (going to be in the minority, I feel). It's not that I don't see why it's liked, just that I don't see them ever being in that sort of relationship. If I'd have to go with any fanon pairing it'd be Tatsumi/Watari. No idea why, as it has no basis in canon...just something about it is 'nice'.

I dislike Muraki/Tsuzuki, or at least those stories which try - usually badly - to make it a 'romance'. There's too much tension and violence there for it to be a WAFF situation. Now, a decent take on their feelings about one another, that would be interesting...Any suggestions?

If Muraki kidnaps Hisoka and make a deal with Tsuzuki that he will releast Hisoka if he were to "sleep" with him then that would be some great Mur/Tsu action, but first they must fight. That's the only way you can keep them in character or have them do another poker game. ^^

Not so Nalana, you are quite sane in my book, (That's probably not good at all actually....) I too have an unaturaly crazed obsession with the man too....^^ Can anyone say I'm ready for my physical sensei? hahah I saw this page online that talked about gear needed when confronting Muraki in the bedroom, the most common post was a gun. And when I think of such things it just makes me giggle.

Those are the ones I can get into but nothing beat Muraki/Tsuzuki. I think if Hisoka wasn't there that Tsuzuki would be with Muraki. I also believe Tsuzuki has a huge crush on our mad doctor Muraki. :)

I'm a WatariXTatsumi fan myself, and I'll explain the appeal for those who think they are just a throw together pair. I thought so too when I first started reading fics, but after reading vol 10 and 11 it seems to make sense. There's a lot of scenes that are just side by side head shots of the two of them and they seem to compliment each other well. plus there is the whole opposites attract thing. Now, my only twist on this pairing is that I think realistically, Watari should be the seme. Don't let his girly long hair fool you, Tatsumi has much more delicate features and is more of the shy reserved type. The type who would be closeted, where Watari wouldn't give a crap what any one thought of his choices.

I'm pretty traditional other than that, TsuzukiXHisoka (though I'd love to see a pre-hisoka TatZuki fic), TerazumaXWakaba (a pair that I think is neglected because fan fics tend to steer away from het pairs).

I don't like Hijiri, there I said it, feel free to hate me but I only saw his character as a tool to develop Tsuzuki and Hisoka's relationship. To me he's like Hisoka with a lobotomy, one of those annoying "Well, things really suck but for some reason I'm still a happy idiot!" type people.

And finally I want to see Touda and just about anyone, but that's because I'm Touda obsessed.

Ok it beats out at Muraki&Tsuzuki winning for me. Either one uke or seme. XD

This pairing is the only pairing besides maybe a little Muraki/Oriya or Oryia/Watari that I really look into. All my fanfiction involoves the Yin and Yang of YnM, Murzuki. To me they are undeniably perfect for eadh other.

I fully support Tsuzuki/Muraki. They're simply the cutest couple of the series! I mean, you have light hair/dark hair good/bad glasses wearing/no glasses, and both have extremely pent up emotions, which always makes it interesting.

Mine is Muraki and Tsuzuki pairings. I like how those two look together, and i bet they would make an amusing couple as well. If Muraki would ever change his thirst for blood and death (which i doubt)... (sighs) Guess i can only dream of that pairing rather then see it happen... oh well there's always amusing fanfiction, lol...

TsuSoka all the way for me =^_^= OTP if i ever saw one. TaTari is interesting from the few fics ive read concerning them, but since i only know the anime and there isnt a great deal of focus on those two there... *shrugs* i hear more hints await in the manga

anything with Muraki, tho... *shudders* that scares me _() seriously. how that guy has legions of fans is entirely beyond me

I am one of those few that have MurakiOriya at the top of my list as my favorite (which is why I think it's such a shame they hardly get written about, and when it is written it's usually a bitter-sweet ending. There are a few amusing ones, but mostly they end in tears XD). I don't know... they click to me.

My second and third favorites are TatsumiWatari(or vice versam switching it up is awesome), and TezuWakaba.

Did anyone notice how Tsuzuki isn't on this list at all? Yeah o_o. That's because I'm a serious minority in that I just couldn't bring myself to like him all that much. It's bad, but, the only times I found myself liking him earnestly is in fics. And all of those were TsuSoka or had TsuSoka hints so... kudos to that. It placed fourth or fifth or something XD.
