Hi~! I'm trying to write a Yuffentine, but I need help... I'm trying to understand why they were meant for each other... (I mean they have the same blood type and they are opitional characters and they look cute together... but i need more facts!!!) I'm dying here!!!

Umm... was this thread made this year? It doesn't say... I found this while googling something yuffentine related. Hmm, well if it's not too late to help somehow-----------------

To begin, from what I've garnered from this whole Yuffentine fascination after a year of bored research and googling is that a significant number of fans enjoy the idea because of such conflicting characters. Since Vincent is technically much older than he actually appears (is physically 27 in FF7, but biologically and mentally 57), there is a 41-year age gap between the two. Vincent is wise, and level-headed, serious, and much more mature than Yuffie, who is pretty much the complete opposite. Seems like people thrive on this conflicting personalities thing because it makes for great interactions between the two.

The cold, hard truth is that there really is NO factual evidence whatsoever to support that the two can ever be a couple (other than the implication in DoC of Yuffie "possibly" having a small, childish little crush on Vincent, depending on how you view their interactions), so pretty much all Yuffentine is based on the author's own imagination and creativity. Humorous interactions, a little fluff, interesting premise, it all can be made to make some insane Yuffentine shenanigans.

I guess something you gotta remember to write a decent Yuffentine is to keep the characters in-character as much as possible (though even that isn't really a rule at all), i.e. Vincent as a quiet, serious, and outwardly stoic person who purposely distances himself from all others while mentally suppressing his literal demons within, in stark contrast to Yuffie’s childishly immature, playfully outgoing and endlessly talkative nature.

I can't really help out more without knowing what kind of story you're interested in writing (unless you already started on it... in which case, I'm talking to my invisible best friend Tyrese here). In any case, gewd luck.
