BleuwynTopic: Purpose of the forum (and yet another add, jeez don't I ever shut up) Apologies, I should have put this up sooner as some people just don't get it.This forum is for letting out your opinion on your most disliked / hated pairing. Debates are welcomed and appreciated as well. However I will not tolerate under any circumstances someone coming in here and either jamming their opinion down people's throats or posting nonsensical crap. I love a good discussion and if you have something to say about a pairing you can't stand, feel free to let loose your aggression. But it must be clear and understood. Refrain from cursing unless absolutely necessary. Although I'm not too keen on when cursing is appropriate, but there's a time and place for everything. Name-calling will be edited, whether to a poster or fictional character. No leetspeak please. I have problems with English as it is and I speak the language for Christmas sake. If you can't abide by this, stay out. It actually takes a lot to tick me off, but a previous poster has made me (Well...ack, no one can make you do anything. Really I just did it out of spite and I'm already thinking it was the wrong decision) do something that I really didn't want to do. I don't like blocking / banning people, to me that's like putting a stop on free speech. But if you push my buttons, I won't hesitate to respond. So please try to understand other people's preferences and I'm sure they will do the same. Also, if I come off as a jerk or whatever to you, I apologize in advance. I like open discussions and sometimes I get carried away. I don't hate people, no matter what they say to me. They're just words folks and they mean nothing, unless you put some action behind it. Thank You and Have a Nice Day. | #1 Dec 25th 2005, 1:33am . Edited Mar 06th 2006, 5:39pm

Nando the RPS KingHey, don't feel too bad about blocking that guy. After all, free speech doesn't mean you're obligated to actually listen to people express themsleves. Boy1whatever's free to go elswhere to ramble about insomnia and ask people to sell him drugs. Personally, I think you were right to step in and stop him from disrupting your forum with his petty and annoying bid for attention.| #2 Dec 25th 2005, 10:52am

VeglmaHey!He wasn't following the rules, and I say you did a good job blocking him. Keep up the good work. :P |

The Grey WarriorYes, thank you for blocking him. He was really irritating, and I could barely understand a word he said. |

NagiaReading his posts here and in the pro-Yuffentine forum, plus his profile, I just want to THANK YOU for blocking him. There are times I wish I don't speak L337. |

NagiaYeah, boy1ndah00d or however he rendered 'boy in the hood' into 1337. |

Cathartic TranceAh, yes, it was thankful that you blocked him. His posts were painful to read. The abscence of capitals and punctuation was hurting my head and I felt like I was reading a reply on MSN messenger. |

BleuwynI'm going to stress this a bit more, because I'm realizing that a few people (including me, even I take things out of context) are getting slightly put off by some of the opinions floating around. They're just words again. And text for that matter. There is no inflection to indicate how a person is even stating their opinion. So there's no way of telling if they're meaning to insult you or to just point out some random thought. I know this is hard. But take it from this point of view. You don't know these people, they don't know you. We're all different here and that's what makes us special. I know you're thinking, "Well duh, Bleuwyn. Of course I'm special. I'm unique and interesting." I'm not denying that. But unless you know an individual personally, don't take too much offense in what they write. Now that being said, I'm going to add a caveat to this. Refrain from stating opinions about people. This forum is for your thoughts on disliked pairings, not what you think about others in here. Those types of comments can be resolved in email or pistols at dawn. I don't care what you think of me, but I do care what you say about people you don't even know. I do not think of myself as a nice person. However that doesn't mean I'm inconsiderate. My rant is done. Get along folks. Looks like we're stuck on this rock for a bit longer. ;P Have a nice day...or at least fix it until it is. | #9 Feb 05th 2006, 12:37am . Edited Feb 05th 2006, 8:28am

BleuwynOne more thing. If I read this one more time, "Are we playing the same game?" I swear I'm going to get really huffy. It's been established that people have different perspectives on the same thing. Stop asking this. This, to me, is the same as getting mad or ticked that someone isn't seeing it from your point of view. I haven't gone through my own posts, so I'm going to chastise myself if I have done it once. If I've done it more than twice, then I consider myself a jerk (which I already do). I understand that reading someone else's view on a part of the game might sound wrong to you, but again this is what they think. Not you. Get over it and state your opinion like everyone else has been doing. | #10 Mar 06th 2006, 5:46pm
