"Alright, Go pokemon!!" he yelled, the ball opened and a Torchic popped out.

"Torchic?"said the little fire-bird.

Matt stood there. He smiled and returned the Torchic to it's pokeball.

The Pokedex began bleeping, looking through the files he found that Murkrow and Meowth raided one another in the wild. "A perfect match! Murkrow! Use peck!" The Murkrow obliged, hopping forward and jabbing It's beak furiously at the Meowth. The Meowth was weak, and ran off shakily, causing Murkrow to raise It's wings and caw loudly. "Heh, good first battle Murkrow. Return." Just as it was recalled, it looked at him with contempt, it still regarded him as a stranger. "Looks like this could take a while." he murmured to himself.

"Torchic, scratch!!"Matt yelled. Torchic quickly scratched at the Pikachu. Pikachu was hit by it and answered the scracth with a Thunderbolt. "Dodge!!" Torchic dodged it and did another scratch. Matt took out an unused pokeball and threw it at the Pikachu. The mouse pokemon went into the ball with a white flash.

The Pokeball moved side to side, then the button on the center flashed red.

"Yeah!!!" Matt cried jumping inthe air. "Return Torchic."Matt said as a red line went to the Fire pokemon and it was in it's ball.

Matt went over and picked up the Pokeball in which the Pikachu was in.

Murkrow appeared in a flash of light, clearly enjoying the exercise it had been denied in Prof.Oak's lab. "Murkrow! Peck it! But not too-" Murkrow jabbed at the Jigglypuff at full strength, causing Kratos to sigh. The Jigglypuff inflated more, rushing to Murkrow and slapping it fiercely.

Murkrow backed away, slightly dizzy. "Woah! I gotta get me this! Murkrow, pursuit!" Murkrow angrilly chased the Jigglypuff, pecking it furiously. As the Jigglypuff started to swoon, Kratos had readied a pokeball. He threw it hard, hearing a smack as it hit the Jigglypuff. The stunned puffball was unable to resist the pokeball's grasp in it's weakened state, and after three half-hearted struggles, the pokeball ceased moving. Kratos recalled Murkrow, and picked up this newfound addition to his squad. "Now, I need to get to a pokemon centre. Then I will be ready to battle." he laughed and walked through the main grassy path, towards Viridian city.

He readied one of his pokeballs and got ready to battle.

The next two brothers stepped forward. "Lastly, its double battle time! Go, Beedrill! Butterfree!" The two bug pokemon appeared in a flash, surprising Krtos. All the brothers so far had only used the first two, evolutions. This was going to be tricky. "Go, Jigglypuff! Murkrow!"

"Murkrow! Peck Butterfree!" Jigglypuff, pound Beedrill!" The two pokemon charged forward, only for their targets to switch places. While the two were confused, the brothers sprung into action. "Beedrill and Butterfree! Attack Jigglypuff with tackle!" The attack hit, knocking Jigglypuff out of the battle.

"It seems I have no choice, go Spearow." Spearow appeared, glaring with silent rage at all around it. The Beedrill was foolish enough to provoke it, causing it to blow the Beedrill out of the match with a wing attack. The Butterfree stared in fear as the Spearow approached it, proceeding to brutally peck the panicing Butterfree. "Thats enough! Beedrill! Butterfree! return!" called the brothers, ending the match.

"Not bad. You may pass... but one other thing. Whats your name?" Kratos smiled. "Kratos. If there isn't anything else, I must go. Farewell." kratos walked away, surprised how friendly the brothers were despite their humiliating loss. "Mabe I shouldn't have told them my name, I don't want them telling other people to pester me for a match." He thought to himself.

"Torchic, use ember on Bulbasuar! Pikachu, use quick attack on Rattata!" Matt ordered his pokemon. Torchic quickly let out a small string of fire straight at Bulbasuar. Pikachu quickly rammed into Rattata.

"Torchic, use Peck on Bulbasuar and Pikachu use Thunderbolt on both Bulbasuar and Rattata!" Matt ordered. Torchic ran towards Bulbasuar and pecked the dinosuar plant pokemon right between it's eyes. Soon two bolts of electricity went sailing towards Bulbasuar and Rattata.

After passing several interesting exhibits, they finnaly reached the fossil exhibit. It was huge, having been expanded since the old days. Now having a skeleton of almost all fossil pokemon. While the pokemon enjoyed the sight, Kratos noticed a scientist huddling in the corner. He decided to check on him.

Kratos experimentally lifted one, finding it to be very heavy. "I'm afraid I'll only be able to carry one..." An idea struck him. "Tell you what, if you see a boy wearing green, with shoulder-length hair and a Torchic, offer him one. Tell him its a thank you gift." The scientist nodded and Kratos leaned over, selecting a fossil which was shaped like a spiral. "Thanks." Kratos called over his pokemon, and moved to the next exhibit.

"Brock!" Kratos cried in astonishment. "Thats my name!... What? Why are you staring at me like that?" Kratos lifted a pokeball, causing Brock's expression to sour slightly. "Oh. Another one. Fine, come to the Gym when you're ready. I'll be waiting." Brock abruptly marched out.

Kratos stopped quickly at the shop, double checked his' pokemon, and moved towards the Gym. "It's time."

"A flying type? This will be easier than I thought! Geodude! use Tackle!" Geodude used it's arms to hurl itself at Spearow, sending 44.1 lbs of rock into Spearow's face. "Now! Sand attack!" Geodude pulled back and dug it's hands into the floor, drawing them out with handfulls of sand, which it threw at Spearow. "Hah! Spearow can't see, or defeat Geodude! Go home feather-head!"

"Spearow! Wing attack!" Spearow lunged trough the sand with an evil expression, smashing it's wings into Geodude with force. "Quick! Fury attack!" Spearow pecked Geodude a total of five times before drawing back. Geodude swayed from side to side, before falling helplessly to the ground. "Wha! How did your Spearow defeat a rock type? Or hit it for that matter?" Kratos lifted his pokedex knowingly. "Spearow often have very keen eyes. And although Geodude had a type advantage, Spearow still had enough pure power to chip away at it."

Brock returned Geodude, smiling. "I must admit, I underestimated you. But even Spearow can't match the power of my wild card. Go, Onix!" A large snake made of rock suddenly materialised, Roaring loudly. "Onix! Rock throw!" Onix lifted it's tail and slammed it ** Spearow, fainting him instantly.

Spearow hobbled away from Onix, looking crestfallen that it had lost. "Its fine Spearow, return." Brock laughed and put his arms together. "Face it kid, your gonna need a whole aviary to beat Onix."

Kratos pulled out his second pokeball. "But I have a secret weapon. Go Jigglypuff!" Jigglypuff appeared and punched the air a few times. Brock laughed again. "My Onix has a special berry. Singing won't do you any good." Now it was Kratos' turn to laugh. "Jigglypuff learned something special while battling in the Viridian woods. Show him Jigglypuff, Rollout!" Jgglypuff curled into a ball and rolled at Onix, making the giant flinch.

"Onix! Rock throw!" However Onix just stood staring at Jigglypuff. "Onix is infatuated by Jigglypuff's cute charms. He can't even move." Jigglypuff came round for another pass, striking again. "That makes 2..." Brock began sweating. "Three..." Brock started pacing up and down. "Four!" Onix finnaly snapped out of it. "Onix! Rock throw!" The avalanche hit Jigglypuff, knocking it out. "Exelent job Jigglypuff."

Onix was showing the signs of a pokemon in distress, swaying from side to side. "And now for my knockout punch. Go!" Brock winced, only to see nothing come out from the pokeball. "Where is it?" Kratos grinned. "Behind Onix. Faint attack!" Murkrow appeared behind Onix and struck it with it's wing.

Onix fell to the floor, smashing several boulders in the process. "Well done kid, well done. You're the first to defeat me this year, and by right deserve a Boulderbadge!" Murkrow perched on Kratos' glove, cawing in triumph. Kratos happily extended a hand and recived a Boulderbadge. "Now, just write your name under the 'Certified trainers' list on those two posts over there, and give this to Nurse Joy!" He smiled, handing over his adress. Kratos thanked Brock, wrote his name on the post and headed for the Pewter pokemon centre.

Matt took the pokemon back from Nurse Joy and walked to the entrance with A'shia.(srry 4 the CC) "Ready?" He asked her.

Kratos was walking out of the pokemon centre when a funny looking old man bumped into him. "Excuse me, Kratos is it? I know this is out of your way but could you deliver this to Professor Oak?" He asked, holding out an egg just a little smaller than Kratos' head.

"Fine. Viridian forest, here I-" The man interrupted. "No, take this pass. It lets you into a passage to the right of the forest, which will let you skip the forest completely." Kratos thanked him and took the pass.

Thanks to the shortcut, Kratos arrived at Viridian faster than he expected. He was just turning a corner into route 1, when too late he saw Jozi too late. The resulting collision knocked them both down, and the egg into her hands.

"Torchic,Ember!"Matt cried, Torchic let out a small string of fire at Eevee hitting it and giveing it a burn. Matt quickly threw a pokeball. The Pokeball moved 3 times before stopping.

Matt smiled and picked up the ball.

(Every1 is allowed 1 Eevee. You can have it evolve into any of Eevee's evolutions. I will accept Glaceon and Leafeon. If u didn't know wat those 2 r, they r Eevee's new evolutions)

'Bulbasura use Razor Leaf." A'isha demanded, Bulbasura let losse a barage of razor sharp lezes at Eevee cuting it. the Eevee contierd with a tackle pushin bulbasura back." Bulbasura use Vine Whip." she called, useing it's vines Bulbasura smaked Eevve in to a tree. A'isha quickly threw a pokeball. The Pokeball moved 3 times before stopping.

3 pairs of eye's were watching them.

"Those Kids caught those Eevee's like nothing!"The Meowth said.

"And those were our Eevees!!"Whined the red-haired girl.

The purple-haired boy just sat there.

Matt returned Torchic to it's ball and nodded to A'shia. "Let's get going."

"Excuse me, but could you bring a fossil to Cinnibar for me?" The scientist asked.

"Sure."Matt said as the scientist held out 4 fossils. Matt picked the one the looked like a flying dinosuar.

"T-Thank you, oh yes. And a boy about your age told me to give you one if I saw you. He said it was a...Thank-you gift."The scientest said.

"Let's go upstairs."Matt said as his pokemon joyfully ran to the stairs.

He finnaly reached Oak's lab. The lab had a large smoking hole in its side, and a strange mech was parked outside. Kratos ran into the building, seeing Oak face down in a corner, with a man and a woman standing over him. The man was tall and muscular withy blonde hair and a large R on his jacket. The woman had pale blue hair and long pants with an R on her shirt.

"So, your telling us you have no data on the legendary pokemon, is that right?" Said the blonde man. "I highly doubt that, don't you Attila?" Said the woman. Oak rose defiantly. "I have no data, and wouldn't give it to you even if I did!" At this, the blonde man "Attila" punched him to the floor. The woman however had noticed Kratos. "Attila. I think its time to scram." With that, the two ran out of the lab and escaped in the mech.

Kratos lifted the poke'gear he had been given before his trip to Kanto. "All police units within range, Professor Oak is injured. Please come to Pallet lab immediately. I repeat..."

"Hey! Break it up guys!"Matt said picking up the two pokemon.
