In a panic, he sent out Aearow. "I know we've neber practiced this, but can you fly me over this hedge?" Aearow nodded and Kratos clung onto his talons. The two lifted over the hedge, Whtney in sight.

At that moment Aearow's strength ran out. The two fell into a bush, alerting two lasses. "He's this way! Let's get him!" Kratos pulled a twig out of his hair and cursed.

"Aearow! Make thart Clefable a myth!" Arearow sweat-dropped him, before attacking the Cefable with Drill peck, sending it reeling backwards.

In reponse, the Chansey used softboiled on the whole enemy group. Kratos countered by sending out Chatot and Wiggles. "Hurry Rich! Get his badge for both of us!"

"Chatot! Chatter it!" Chatot rushed forwards and began talking about chocolate to Snorlax. Within second the giant was confused. "Hurry up Rich, this girl alone looks tough." He thought.

Meanwhile Whitney was sitting playing a DS when she saw Rich approaching. "Heya! I suppose you wanna battle? Well bring it on big boy!" She sent out Jigglypuff and smiled at Rich.

"Ok Kadabra. Do your stuff!" Rich shouted as Kadabra got in a battle stance.

"Jigglypuff, Pound!" Whitney shouted as Jigglypuff threw a punch at Kadabra.

"Kadabra! Hurry! Ice Punch!" Rich shouted as Kadabra swung a frozen fist at Jigglypuff, causing the Pokemon to start to freeze.

"Aearow, return!" Kratos sighed, returning a second pokemon. Wiggles had defeated Clefable in a kamikaze Double edge, and Arearow had suffered a full Body slam by Snorlax. "Go Larvitar! I hope you know dig..."

"Gastly use Bite!" Rich said as Gastly bit into the frozen Jigglypuff.

Both Whitney and Clefairy pirouteed, walking twards Rich and Gastly, winking once they were close. Suddenly Whitney's face contorted with wrath. "Clefairy! Metronome!"

Kratos meanwhile had defeated Chansey and Clefable, but was down to Karasu and Rich's Larvitar. "Face it, my Snorlax can just keep on coming!" Sneered the lass, Snorlax waking from a Rest. "I hope this works..." Kratos thought. "Karasu, fly as high as you can, and drop Larvitar!" Karasu nodded, lifting Larvitar up to the ceiling of the gym. "Larvitar! Crunch!"

Larvitar opened It's maw wide as it fell, clamping onto Snorlax's ear. Snorlax cried out in pain and began swatting at Larvitar. "Karasu! Go for the eyes!" Karasu swooped down, jabbing his beak at Snorlax's eyes. "Now Larvitar! Slash!" After a few seconds of this torture, the Snorlax fell heavily to the floor. The lass returned him and smirked. "Not bad. We had all beter go to Whitney. Even if your friend wins, she may not give him a badge."

Kratos stared at the lass with confusion. "What do you mean she may not give him a badge?" The lass blushed and sighed. "She can be very... childish if she loses. We have to make sure..." Kratos nodded and followed her.

Whitney began crying and shook her head. "Don't wanna!" The lass sighed. "Not again... do you want me to tell your Daddy how you refused another trainer?" Whitney stared at her with rage before sighing. "Okay you win! Here! Take it and go away!" Whitney thrust a badge into Rich's hand and began to walk away. "Don't forget this one! He did beat three of us at once." A vein throbbed in Whitney's forhead. "Fine! Here look at me! I'm giving out free badges! WHO ELSE WANTS ONE!?"

"Well we do!" Piped up the Carlos brothers. "Who are you twerps?!" Shouted Whitney, turning to glare at them. "Oh oh! Scary lady! RUN!" Whitney chased after the two twins, leaving Rich with the lasses and a sweat-dropped Kratos. "Ooookay, what do you say we leave before she comes back?"

'I just hope Sarah doesn't find out about this... if she does I'm screwed...' Rich thought to himself as he started to get a bit worried.

Kratos moved to the house and lifted up his key. "Finnaly... ho-" Suddenly a Skarmory holding a pokegear swooped down and snatched up his key. "You again! Give me back those!" The Skarmory smirked down at him, waving the key about. "Go Aearow! Fly!"

Kratos picked up his pokegear and keys from the battle site. "Well, now that that's over, welcome." Kratos unlocked the door and lead Rich inside the house. "Welcome to my humble abode, make yourself at home."

Kratos paused again, remembering the story. "But the other tower was burned down many years ago. In the blaze, three pokemon died, only to be reborn as legendary pokemon. It is said that they lie sleeping at the bottom floor of the tower, awaiting something or someone." Kratos pulled out three old sketches of enormous fierce-looking canines, each surrounded by an element.

"These are old sketches found in a ruin, presumably of the three. Many have searched and never found them, but it's my duty to tell you our ledgends while we're here. Of course, I can't do it as well as another..."

Kratos froze with the spoon halfway to his mouth. "Wiggles, hyper voice." Wiggles turned and shouted at Rich, making the house shake. "Rich! Still wanna go to that tower? The two criminals we faced in Cerulean do too."

Kratos nodded. "Hello Morty, this is Rich. Rich, this is Morty, the gym leader of Ecruteak." Hun screamed as the Gengar holding him let him fall to the ground. "Now tell us, what are you here for?" Hun glared up at Morty. "You should know of all people! But I won't be stopped by you!" With that, he tossed a smoke bomb on the floor and fled into the tower.

Morty smiled and turned to Kratos and Rich. "I'll prevent them from escaping. You two head in and derail their plans." Kratos gaped at Morty. "But, you're much stro-" Morty smiled. "It will be good experience for you both. Now hurry, kick their butts!"

Kratos realeased Skarmory and Karasu. "We have to make sure that they don't get any of the ledgends, with that kind of power, these jokers could do some real damage."

Kratos smiled. "You don't need us for that! Skarmory! Peck them awake!" Skarmory swooped towards Raikou, only for Hun's own Skarmory to intercept. "You meddling kids! Go Muk, Scizor and Skarmory! Beat this kid to a pulp!" Attilla smiled. "Steelix, Medicham and Selviper! Go for the kid with the shaggy hair!" She then turned the mech towards the dogs. "You're mine this time Raikou!"

"Larvitar, use Earthquake on Seviper!" Rich shouted as a large fissure came out of the ground and hit Seviper, causing to fly back. "Gastly, use Confusion on Seviper!" Rich told Gastly as it shot a blue blast at Seviper, causing it to get knocked out, "What're we gonna do about Raikou and those other ones?" Rich asked Kratos.
