inktoungeAs much as I try to respect other people's opinions, I aslo rally have to disagree about Sandry. Sandry did have faults. A lot of them. SHe had her noble side, which was pompous, self-rightous, and in a totally wierd way, so utterly selfless that it was annoying. When she made things worse, it was her noble side getting in the way. And could you clear something up for me, Venuspixie? Why do you dislike Sandry for thinking she can help everyone? Isn't that generally a desirable trait: to be helpful and want to be helpful? I'm kind of confused on that. Oh, and my favorite Circle character is Briar. He's the one who's actually truel complicated. He's got all of these different facets and is really interesting. Sorry, I get really deep into series that I've been reading for years. I tend to analyze such things to death, even if they're inatamate. I've kinda read all of TP's books about thirty million times. VenuspixieOh my, I posted that a very long time ago, and I was probably too hasty on my assumptions of TP's characters in the Circle having only read the first series at the time.Though I still stand by my opinion of Thom, but then they are just opinions, they aren't fact and I can admit I was wrong at the time. Yes thinking you can help everyone is a desirable trait, but when you have grown up with people who want to only help everyone for their own means, that desirable trait isn't so desirable any more. And I very much agree with you on Briar, hehehe he's a cool dude. | #52 Dec 13th 2008, 1:13am | |
