OHH his is a hard one...lol,

For the girls i would have to say thayet because of her choices and actions, not many people could care so deeply for their country as she does. Also i am a fair bit like her, scarily enough i look like her (arrrggh how weird-in a good way)I have black hair, hazel eyes and creamy coloured skin. Unfortunatly because of my looks i share a problem she would have people judge me before they get to know me, thinking she's pretty she must be dumb...where as looks shouldn't matter, look at thayet...she is beautiful but many probably don't look past that. where as my personality is that of alanna i snap at people all the time and i am known for my bad temper, but i am also passionate about everything i do.

My favourite boy in the book would have to be DOM!!!!

He is georgious i love the flirty type and he's so amazing! lol but seriously he is:

a)HOT

b)funny (when conserning neal especially)

c)sweet

d)loyal

e)and many other thing that if i continue to list i will run out of alpabet letters to list them by hehehe..

i think that Tamora Pierce modeled her love interests after her own turn ons. I mean, look at George and Numair, both are described as being tall with pronounced noses and eccentricies. only Numair is more book-knowledge and intellectual where George has street knowledge.

I totally agree with that. I'm all for the book worm too. But yes, TP did give them their own quirks. She also stuck some other stuff in there which is extremely humorous to me. We could have a laugh fest about big hand and feet.

Another thing that TP put in to her own taste is fear of marriage. She actually says at the beginning of one book in a dedication to her husband "thanks for making the 'M' word less frightening". Think she has some marriage issues?

I adore Alanna to no end. I'm not much like her but I really wish I was. She's such a free-spirit and so defiant, her dreams are first and foremost, she's afraid of love but has an unporposely tapped power over men it seems. She's just too cool, she's a warrior in more ways than one and I hold a lot of respect for her.

I also love George Cooper. I wish he was a real person - he's fantastic, rugged, sneaky, open, commanding, funny. He knows exactly what he wants from people and situations.

I like Numair, Daine, George, Alanna, Aly, Kel, Dom, Neal, Raoul, Owen, Wyldon, Evin, Buri and Thayet. (whoah, that's a good sized list)Jon is ok, I only really like him in the Immortals series, other times he's a jerk a lot. They're all good characters with their own personalities that make them all the more real, not just some person on a piece of paper, you know? Tamora creates such awesome characters!!!

Owen is just cute.

Everyone has to love Neal for his meatheadedness. (and the daffodil quote. LOL! I swear I laughed for days bout that!)

Dom just has to end up with Kel.

Raoul is so nice to Kel, yet doesn't get much mention in the Alanna books.

George is cool and a great contrast to Alanna

Yer I did get this from confusedknight, but she's just sooooooo right and I love her new story!

fav in alanna series: george!!!go george! he's funny, cool, and sooo much better for alanna then jon

fav in kel series: i mean who else: NEAL! his sarcastic humor, and his character, ya just gotta love him

fav in daine series: a tie between sarge and cloud.

fav in trickster's series: aly:she's my altime fav, cause i think she's sorta like me. (second fav is dove)

my fav in the circle series would have to be Briar.

as you can see, all my characters are humourous(hmmm..wonder why???)

She was probably my second favorite in the Circle of Magic and the Circle Opens series, after Daja, but she came way down after TWOTE. She just suddenly became snobby and acted all...I don't know, innocent. Like she knew exactly what was right for her and her people and she couldn't be wrong, and that annoyed me.

Sounds like she got a little to cocky for a while there. Maybe she was putting on an act for her cousin and whoever else was watching her so that she could fit in, perhaps? I mean, I wouldn't know; I've still got to read the book.

Yeah, that's what everyone is telling me, but I think if it was an act she was putting it on to hard and making the other three(Daja, Tris, and Briar) fight with her. You should read the book, because even though Sandry was annoying the book was still amazing.

My library has a severe shortage on TP books. When last I checked, they had Sandry's Book, Tris's Book, and I think one of Protector of the Small (don't remember which one though). It ticks me off.

Does your library do the request a book thing? You know, where you request a book and the library gets it from another library? That's what I do when I'm waiting for a book, it saves money and time.

Yeah, it does, but I never have to use it. My aunt sent me all the books this summer. Yay!

But, anyways, this is irelevent, isn't it? Back to favorite characters, aside from Kel, I also have a soft spot for Raoul, and also for Owen of Jesslaw. I thought that Roual was a really cool character from the moment I first read about him.
