A very good first meeting in my opinion. I also have to say, on a minor note, that I liked the scene where the enter Dipan Castle, before seeing the monsters in the underground. When Alicia said that they should stick together, I was expecting Rufus to just blow her offabout it --- which we all know he didn't. That surprised me and made me very happy.

I also like when they find the monsters growing the lab, because when Primordial Ooze comes down from the ceiling, Rufus actually ran to her and moved her away from it, knocking them both to the ground in the process. As a Rufus fangirl, I was envious, but as a MAJOR Rufus/Alicia fan (which I indeed am), I squealed with delight about it. Very cute, and very heroic of Rufus. ^^

I like when "Valkyrie" kisses her ring... up until that point I felt so bad for poor Rufus because it seemed like Alicia left him, but then that proved that even after she was merged, she still cared for him. I still feel really bad of course, but since the gesture was her good luck charm, it makes me think that there is hope for them in the future. She is the goddess of fate, so surely if she wishes him good luck, then they can be together again somehow. Rufus just needs to wait for Alicia to grow out of her loli phase and then show up in his now godly brilliance and take her away. Hey, I would totally go with him! What are you kidding?

I am a Rufus fangirl but I really liked Alicia's character, too. I was so happy to see that their relationship was canon and it was pretty well developed. Other than some of the scenes in the ancient forest being WAY overly dramatic, I was squeeing the whole time.

Oh, and when Lezzard is SO hitting on Silmeria Rufus is totally pulling this face in the background.

I just like watching Rufu's face (which I always am) when he's all 'Lady Silmeria *winks* we are so on the same level *winks*'

I can't exactly explain HOW this works without revealing a big spoiler, but... well, Lezard is special. Silmeria takes place before Lenneth, but it is eventually sort of after Lenneth because of urm, well... just play the rest of the game and you'll see!

I CAN'T I am stuck trying to defeat those two (dirty old men) mages when you go back to Dipan.

You can try these tips though before you do that:

Give at least one person, preferrably more, the item "walkflower root" which you can break off of plant enemies. If you can inflict them with frailty with that item, then they won't be able to heal themselves.

If any of your characters have learned the skill "Mage Slayer" USE IT >0 It does critical damage to them.

Try seperating your party into two teams, keep at least one person safely out of enemy range so that they can revive the others if they die.

Bring a lot of fairy tinctures and use them liberally.

But hey, after that, there's a lot of AliciaxRufus scenes to encourage you! YOU CAN DO IT! =D

Haha yeah Dallas... I kinda feel bad for him, but I can't take him seriously because he looks so completely out of place. Also, I though he was going to be Alicia's romantic interest at first, and I was like... wtf no >0 But it turns out that they were just childhood friends and played together, which is cute I guess.

On levels, Alicia and Rufus are rather heniously strong, because I NEVER take them out of the party ;) and I hated Leone and Angrihm anyway, they were like lv 14 when they left XD (Except for angrihm saying Maybe they're sorry but I don't care at the ned of a battle)

I always break my heart with ejinhars, because I train them loads and set them free and am all 'I miss Alm...' (but I TOTALLY met him again! I was all ALMMMMMMMMMMMM *attempts to hug TV*)

Oh, and did I mention I call Lezzard Harry Potter?

I do, more than I call him by his actual name :P (GodDAMN Harry Potter died again!) First thing I said when I saw him was HARRY POTTEEEERRR and I punctuate most tense moments involving him with 'You're a Wizard, Harry' [I mentioned the insane]

Fragilty! Good idea! I was toootally soloing the bastards with Alicia and he HEALED AND BROKE MY HEART.

If you have the attacks learned (I forget what level you get them at), give Rufus some moves like stone shot or ice lance. If you can cause Stone, Ice, or Paralysis, then it will give you a second to regain your AP or heal yourself.

Try to arrange your specials for optimum damage. The more hits you rack up, the more damage the next person does. So, since Rufus is like crazy with hits with his special, you can have him go first, then give Alicia the Heat Up skill so that she can go third. Then have your best Heavy Warrior go last since they are the most powerful and don't drive up hits very well anyway. For me it would be like Rufus>some Einherjar>Alicia>Dylan for the most damage. I love Lezard, but his special "animate earth" is pretty lame. He can only go last, and having a weak special go last is a total waste of your hits build up.

Although I do love to shout NEILBERG VALEISI and jump around as well...

Oh, and the Dragon's temple-thingie has the coolest map ever (the first bit) shame the enemies suck so much :P
