Topic: Conner/Kira or Trent/Kira

Which do you all prefer? Personally I like Conner/Kria.

I like them both, but Conner/Kira more so than Trent/Kira. Either way, Kira is set for life. ^_^

For me, its Kira/Trent. There was so much placed on a potiental coupling between the two in the beginning of the show. Honestly, I really dont see where Kira/Connor came into the picture, other than it going back to the old "they look together" theory, than the two actually having any indication of getting together on the show. A lot of coupligs follow this stigmata, persay Sky/Syd.

But hey, to each his/her own.

Trent/Kira. I think Conner just bugs/annoys the hell out of her somehow, which brings me to my main point. Conner is more of a big brother type for her, someone to fight with, then get along with later.

I prefer Kira/Trent myself. They were actually attracted to one another, and Conner has that nice environmentalist young lady.

I think it's totally Kira/Trent. I can see things where you can put Conner and Kira together, but Trent and Kira just fit. I think it's a lot like SPD. I can see things with Bridge and Z, Sky and Syd, and yet Bridge and Syd just fit together and have things throughout the season and Sky and Z are just so obvious. Sorry, I know this is a Conner/Kira/Trent. I just think Kira and Trent are so cute. They quickly became one of my new favorite couples.

I would have to say it would be Trent/Kira. I like them and you see alot of them when he is on the screen.

I do depise when people say Kira/Conner fans like the couple because of the way they look. That's false, because if I paired Kira went guys because they make a hot handsome couple my fics would be about her an either Cam, dustin, or Hunter. They outlooked the guys from DT by a mile.

Fact is, I think Trent is the best looking guy on DT.

Sometimes I love opposites attract relationships. Not all the time but in this case I do. Being friends with Kira made Conner look at girls in a different light. It gave him the ability to humble down in date a girl like Krista on a full time basis.

I am a fan of Dana/Cody from Step by Step. For some reason, Kira/Conner made me think of these two.

Okay, point taken on the look thing.

I don't really think that Conner and Kira are complete opposites, they do have common elements in their personalities. Besides if you were going in general opposites are four of those Dino Rangers were pretty different. The reason that Trent and Kira didn't seem like opposites was because of their chemistry together.

Yeah Conner was able to be with Krista but, well...I just don't see how it is that Conner ever looked at girls in a different way. And, I haven't seen The Passion of Conner in a while so, does Kira help him see that he needs to be nicer with Krista? Because I don't remember.

I'm a fan of Dana and Rich, I thought they were so cute together. Interesting comparison.

Conner at the beginning of Dino Thunder looked at girls as objects. He was a player and in air head. At then end of Dino Thunder him taking Krista to the prom instead of any other chick, as he calls them, suggest just maybe he was ready or open for commitment with her and maybe change of his attitude completely.

I do like Kira/Trent too. I just think Kira/Conner is more interesting to write/read about because of the sparks that could fly.

That being said, I don't like stories writing Trent off as a fling, pyscho, or substitute for the lack of Conner interest in Kira. Plus I love a little Tommy/Kat add in so I haven't read that many Conner/Kira stories. Kim almost always shows up.

Okay, like I said I really have to watch it again, but I don't remember how he viewed girls. I suppose being around Kira could cause him to change his attitude.

I can see about the sparks with Kira and Conner, so I hear that. But I noticed that that's what people will do with Trent, or they hook him up with Cassidy--which I don't see, but hey. I noticed that Kim and Tommy are usually together in the Conner and Kira stories. Maybe we've looked at different stories.

Trent was mean to everyone, and besides until he gave in and the evil completely changed him, he was nice. I mean don't you remember in, I think it was Truth and Consequences, the white ranger was about to destroy Kira-who was demorphed-he saw Kira and stopped and probably would have stopped and maybe even become good than, if it wasn't for Conner and Ethan. It wasn't Trent who was mean to Kira it was the white ranger.

A lot of people get that confused. When evil rangers are under a spell, it's not them, it's the spell, or in Trent's case the dino gem that's causing him to do those. Therefore you can't blame Trent on those actions.

Also at the end when Trent chooses to tell Kira his horrible secret--trusting his life into her hands--he tells her he has to leave. He also says: 'I would never intentionally hurt anyone, especially you Kira.'

To me Conner and Kira were just friends and that's it.

Besides even James Napier said that Conner and Kira were just friends.

Why do you see Conner/Kira?

I just watched the last episodes of Dino Thunder and I never realized just how much Trent/Kira stuff there is. She looks like she's about to cry many times. Their smiles. There is so much evidence for those two. I love each and every one of their moments.

At least you like Trent. I think I like Trent better than Conner, but I still love Conner. I just prefer Conner with Krista, I think they make a cute couple.

I know that they were both in a show called The Tribe and they were together for a bit. So, you never know. LOL.

Why?

because they remain me a lot with two of my fav. PR pairings

~Trent/Kira : Tommy/Kimberly

~Conner/Kira : Jason/Kimberly

but if you want me to choose...i'll go with Trent/Kira

Wow. I never thought about that. But that kind of makes sense. Although I don't think that Conner and Kira had the same relationship that Jason and Kim did, I think Ethan and Kira's is more like Jason and Kim in MM, although Turbo it would be Conner and Kira.

Trent and Kira hands down is the best. Conner and Kira do have their sweet moments though.

Yeah, I can definitely see the relation. Although I prefer Trent/Kira to Tommy/Kim.

Ethan/Kira just have a very interesting relationship. I love it. They are super close, they have their own handshake. But I do prefer Ethan/Angela and Trent/Kira. So...

Jack/Kira? I hear what you're saying but aside from being together in real life did you see anything in the teamups.

Hey I agree with you JuseaPeterson. Wow just the episodes between Trent and Kira. I like them they are way cute and shows more things with them. I can see Conner and Kira but not as much as Trent and Kira.

Mmkay, I'm not really a fan of either of these couples, (I'm a die-hard Tommy/Kira fan) but I guess that if I had to choose between the two I would go with Conner. I only came to this decision today, before that I was more so on the Trent/Kira side. I don't really see either one working out, but I think that Conner/Kira would cuter.

Trent is her perfect match in theory, but I think he's too reserved. All his time with Mesogog would make him closed off. I think that even after the whole thing is over and Mesogog is dead, he would still cut himself off from the rest. It would almost become a natural thing to do and I think it would bug Kira too much.

I honestly think that sometimes Kira wonders how she can handle being friends with Conner, much less anything more. But I think that if something did randomly happen, they would be cute until Kira got too frustrated with him.

And yet it's not that Trent can't have fun or loosen up, he just does it differently than the way most people define it. Trent opened up to Kira without knowing her too well, so how is it going to be when he knows her much more and knows that he's not on icy ground. Let's face it the DT team was not the most forgiveable or understanding, and Tommy was understanding to a point. Kira needs to learn to trust more and be more giving of herself, and I think when she's around Trent that's what she's able to do.

But as the season went on Kira didn't really get frustrated, and so if the frustration thing is what you're going on then I think that she would get frustrated with Tommy and actually never be completely happy with anyone.

I completely agree, Trent/Kira are definately the best couple and as for Conner, I think Kira would rather date one of the zords than him.

I agree. Looking back on the whole PRDT saga, there was NO romantic interaction between Conner and Kira at all. Trent can identify with her...after all, they're both artists:)

And the fact that Conner is somewhat of a douche...

Exactly, there really wasn't. But people attribute any time that Kira is alone with Conner as romantic, so...

Exactly both Trent and Kira are artists, so they have that in common but even in their artistry they deal with things a bit differently.

You mean when Trent was evil and couldn't help it, except when he stopped attacking Kira recognizing who she was? Also he left so he wouldn't attack them. And the reason Kira forgave Trent is because she knew that it wasn't his fault and she could tell what a great guy he is.

Conner on the other hand couldn't treat Kira in the way Trent would be able to. Conner and Kira wouldn't mesh well together, she would get way to irritated with him.
