LostInHyruleTsuyukomi (Moon Diviner) kills literally EVERYTHING.I can't find that. Could you give me a literal text read? Same with the Seal of Orichalcous. | #51 Jun 02nd 2007, 8:34pm

Michelle H. C. ZhuSD6-JP011Tsukuyomi Dark/Spellcaster - Spirit/4/1100/1400 This card cannot be Special Summon. Return this card to its owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn this is Summoned or Flipped. When this card is successfully Summoned or Flipped, choose a face-up monster on the field and change it to face-down defense mode. | #52 Jun 03rd 2007, 6:44am

LostInHyruleThat's not quite as good as I expected.| #53 Jun 03rd 2007, 6:56am

Tulip-JinThat effect is the reason it was limited and then finally banned from tournament play. It's because you can flip down ANY monster, even one of your own that has a flip effect...let's say, Magician of Faith? And Tsukiyomi can be played every turn, so you'd flip MoF, get a card back...let's say Nobleman of Crossout for this example...and you could play the Nobleman, summon Tsukiyomi, and reset MoF. That's a -dangerous- card when it's used right. | #54 Jun 03rd 2007, 10:13am

LostInHyruleVery true. Trap Hole and Card Destruction are the only ways I can think of getting rid of it.| #55 Jun 03rd 2007, 10:15am
|
|
Tulip-JinTrap Hole wouldn't work unless it negated the summon. Because it's a counter-summon, it doesn't negate anything and the effect goes ahead as planned.| #56 Jun 03rd 2007, 10:17am
|
|
LostInHyruleTrue, but it would still destroy the card.| #57 Jun 03rd 2007, 11:23am

Tulip-JinThat's not the point. The effect is the dangerous part.| #58 Jun 03rd 2007, 11:38am

LostInHyruleYes, but you can use the effect over and over if you don't destroy the card.| #59 Jun 03rd 2007, 1:36pm

Tulip-JinMystic Swordsman? Which one, and what does he have to do with this discussion anyway?| #62 Jun 04th 2007, 10:35pm

LostInHyruleMystic Swordsman kills anything face-down without flipping it face-up or applying damage calculation, so it could, with 900 attack, kill a Blue Eyes White Dragon. And better yet, it could then, because it desteroyed something, summon its 1900ATK counterpart to the field.| #63 Jun 05th 2007, 8:44pm

Tulip-JinIf you mean LV2, then say LV2. Otherwise I can't tell if you mean LV2, LV4, LV6, or LV8.| #64 Jun 05th 2007, 9:27pm

LostInHyrule...There's a LV8!?! What's its stats?| #65 Jun 05th 2007, 9:40pm
|

HunterFo7DMActually it can't level up that way bc it must destroy a monster by means of 'damage calculation' not through its effect. Here is proof: http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/yugioh/en/gameplay/faqs/cardfaqs/default.aspx and look in the L-O sectionAlso if you want official rules go to this site: http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/yugioh/en/gameplay/default.aspx the rulebook can get you started and thers a demo and the FAQs {especially the errata and individual rulings)can solve disputes. Also theres this forum that has provided useful documents to me as a judge http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/community/files/28/english/category1008.aspx btw ther is no Mystic Sword lv 8 presently and i wanted to ask if I could still enter that star chip tournament you have going, I'm familiar with online dueling from when I had YVD (Yugioh Virtual Desktop-an online dueling system) before it screwed up on me. | #66 Jun 09th 2007, 8:28am

Tulip-JinI threw out the idea of the LV8 to see who else would notice if it was real or not. And I can't see why you can't join our tournament...| #67 Jun 09th 2007, 10:25am

LostInHyruleYeah, you can still join the tournament.| #68 Jun 09th 2007, 2:00pm

HunterFo7DMWell for I know Konami/Shuisha may make another Mystic Swordsman in the OCG someday :D afterall they did release Armed Dragon Lv 10.Sorry to ask but can I play with the current banlist on page 1 or is it gonna be updated? Cuz i wanna ask why Raigeki Break is there since although its a chainable trap you have to discard as a cost. And although the 2 Chaos Envoys are banned, Chaos Sorcerer is nowhere on the list. You are seriously tempting me to run 3 Sorcerers and Different Dimension stuff. If you put Chaos Sorcerer on the list I'll prolly run either the one of a few new decks either E-Heros like Stratos and Ocean or Raiza the Storm Monarch. Will post a deck within a day or 2. Oh btw as well as posting whats in your graveyard in duels, I suggest also posting whats in the "Removed from Play/Game Zone" since that area can also be a resource like the graveyard can be. | #69 Jun 10th 2007, 5:07am
|
|
Tulip-JinYou can play with the current list. If we're updating it, we'll give you a heads-up so that you can modify your deck if necessary. ...Actually, I'll be making some adjustments very soon (you have several good points). As for the 'Removed from Play Zone', not everyone will have cards removed from play, so it's not really necessary to have it up if you don't need it. | #70 Jun 10th 2007, 3:56pm
|
|
LostInHyruleWe'll add the removed from play thing whenever there's actually something that is removed from play in a duel, which hasn't happened yet.Sorry, I've never heard of Chaos Sorcerer... are there any other super-good cards I should know about? | #71 Jun 10th 2007, 4:42pm

HunterFo7DMMe again. I'm sorry that I kinda yu guys badger with posting my stuff like cards but thers a few more cards I didnt mention which should be considered for being a bit to strong. Here are the gist of their effects:Snatch Steal: An equip card. Equip it to a face up monster of your opponents and as long as Snatch is attached - you now control the monster. However during each of you opponents turns they get 1000lps (not much compensation for opponent imo). It can act like a permanent Change of Heart even though it can't take face down monsters but you can still do anything you like with the monster. If the monster is fliped face down while under Snatch, Snatch goes away stopping your opponent from gaining life points and the monster will still stay with the player currently controlling the monster. Ring of Destruction: Unlike the 2 Trap Holes this can get rid of a face up monster after its already been summoned(eg. if the target of Ring attacks) as well as when its summoned. Unlike Mirror, Torrential, Sakurestsu and the 2 Trap Holes its more chainable and also does life point damage to both players equal to the destroyed monsters attack. Magical Scientist: Summon as many lv 6 or below fusion monsters from your F deck without using polymerization or the required monsters. Costs 1000lp for every monster summoned. They cannot attack directly and return from the field to the F deck at the end of the turn, unless there in graveyard etc. but u can still use effects, attack monsters and/or sacrifice them. Don't know about Mind Control being on the list, since when you use Mind Control the monster you take cannot attack or be tributed at all, although its a decent card to use your opponents monster effect as your own. Brain Control on the other hand costs 800lp and can only take face up monsters. Neither of these two are in the league of Change of Heart or Snatch Steal but use your own judgment. btw Lostin Hyrule if you don't know yet, Chaos Sorcerer is a weaker BLS-EotB, its only got 2300 compared to the Envoys 3000 and can only remove face up monsters unlke BLS EotB. Its not even on the same tier as the 2 Envoys but its abusable. Of all of them I think Snatch Steal is the worst, if you can live with the others it might not be so horrible but its your decision | #72 Jun 11th 2007, 7:28am . Edited Jun 11th 2007, 7:45am

LostInHyruleI'll limit those all to 1.EDIT: Oops! I got Brain Control and Mind Control confused... same name, pretty much. Mind Control doesn't need to be banned, it's Brain Control that needs to be limited. | #73 Jun 11th 2007, 11:58am . Edited Jun 11th 2007, 11:59am

Nitro the OmnipotentI'd like to file a complaint. Dice Jar is too powerful! Ban it! | #84 Apr 11th 2008, 9:04pm

|
Tulip-JinI'd at least limit it to one...then again, I don't anyone else who uses it and I only have one, so this isn't a decision I can really make without a bias. Though it's really not that the card's that powerful, it's that I'm really good at rolling a d6. Comes from playing D&D, I think. | #85 Apr 11th 2008, 9:10pm

chibifurbyQuestion...why is Victory Dragon banned? | #86 Apr 12th 2008, 10:30am

Tulip-JinBecause it's effect is so broken for IRL duels? I think Lost was the one who banned it, actually. | #87 Apr 12th 2008, 10:44am

|
chibifurbymhmm...I'm thinking that IRL has something to do with single round duels...but even if the effect doesn't work anymore...doesn't mean you need to ban it. It's the player's choice to put it in or not...just saying...o.O | #88 Apr 12th 2008, 10:51am

GadgetmanHere are some suggestions. This is yours with changes, basically, just apply them in your banlist. Banned Time Seal Gladiator Beast Gyzarus or Gladiator Beast Bestiari or Gladiator Beast Darius (Gyzarus is the most broken) Premature Burial or Arms Hole Scapegoat or Metamorphosis Cathedral of Nobles (Or limit) Makyura (Or keep limited) Sixth Sense Mirage of Nightmares (Or limit) Call of the Haunted (Either ban this or Monster Reborn) Snatch Steal / Change of Heart Barrel Behind the Door (Or ban Ring of Destruction) Dimension Fusion (Unban if you decide not to ban Gladiator Beast - Gyzarus) Yata-Garasu (Yata lock can and will live. Trust me, someone WILL find someway to abuse this) Limited Destiny Hero - Disc Commander Magician of Faith Undead World Venom Burn (Or keep unlimited) Destiny Hero - Disc Commander Elemental Hero Prisma (Or keep unlimited) Thousand Eyes Restrict Prime Material Dragon (Or keep unlimited) Heavy Storm The Exodia pieces. Why don't you just ban one? Besides, this deck is too slow and inconsistent. Monster Reborn Magic Cylinder Swords of Revealing Light Gravity Bind Level Limit - Area B Semi-Limited Raiza the Storm Monarch Lightning Vortex Giant Trunade Chain Strike Reasoning Monster Gate Test Tiger Armageddon Knight "Knight of the End" Evil Hero Dark Gaia Treeborn Frog (Why would you run more than 1?) Reinforcement of the Army Hand Destruction Unlimited Emes the Infinity (Huh?) Axe of Despair (United We Stand / Mage Power is more deadly) Victory Dragon (This is the TCG. You can surrender before the 10th turn, unlike the OCG) Tyrant Dragon (Too slow) Nobleman of Crossout (Barely used anymore) Morphing Jar #2 (Once again, this confuses me) Light and Darkness Dragon (Most people don't even run 3) Cyber Dragon (Limiting him only hurts Cyber Fusion decks, which aren't a threat. He's only a threat with the Syncro Format. Which this isn't) Allure of Darkness (You aren't banning Gladiator Beast cards, so unlimit this) | #93 Aug 27th 2008, 5:47pm . GadgetmanI suggest you limit Dark Armed Dragon and Judgment Dragon, and Semi limit Charge of the Light Brigade, semi-limit X-Saber Airbellum, limit Emergency Teleport as well. Oh, and limit Plaguespreader Zombie "Zombie Carrier". | #95 Jan 04th, 2:52pm . Edited Jan 04th, 2:54pm
