Topic: SEASON TWO SIGN-UP!

I don't want to jump the gun here, but I'd like to get a feel for who wants to join Season 2 of this tournament. Just sign your name here. If you want details on what the tournament is going to be like, you can check the Rules thread or post in "Duelist Square" with your questions.

Oh hello. I just heard about this from your post on Ari Phoneixs forum. And if its ok, i wanna participate too ^^. I read the rules ao i pretty much understand the format of how we should duel. And yes im updated with the new rules and everything. So can i play?

Season 2 starts after Christmas. And the maximum deck limit is 60.

hey Lost instead of starchips use crystals start people off with 5 and the goal is 70 in order to get to duelist staduim where the winner becomes king of duels then go to season 3

u can also have tag division matches

no holds barred matches

field master matches

elimation field matches (6 duelists fightin to become master of the field)

title matches ex.

duelist champion

world duelist champion

field champion

element champion

choas champion

these are the many ideas i have to make ur forum attract people and if u need a keeper of talleys just ask me i'll be very happy to do it.

Interesting special match ideas. I think I'll stick with Star Chips, however. "Elimination Field" sounds the most appealing to me.

the whole basic idea of elimation field is 6 selected duelists u chose 3 i chose 3 duel one on one at 8000pts until one is left standing the main rule is that the decks must have the monsters that can use the field 60 cards

if this works it will bring different startagies from the duelists and attarct more attention ur input is always helpful reply to me when u can and as well if u have any ideas about just write them and we can discuss them thanks for ur time.

what if i try to get people from different forums to join this one like an open invitation with greetings and a special one on one duel featuring the creator and the god of the damned that might spark some attention.

also i think u should have a topic where people can put certain ideas like startagies to help new players get fimiliar with the game better

I know I said I would do it...but I think it is a good idea that everyone, eventually, places the effects and stats of their cards...so there is no confusion to what they do...but that's just me...

Umm... I hope it's not too late for me to join up.

Are we allowed to use original cards that have been approved by the general public (that is, they've been deemed not-broken), or cards that were only in the series (for example, the fairytale cards Leon Schroder used)? Or are we just limited to normal, released-in-real-life cards? Also, are we allowed to use cards that have not been released in the TCG, but are in the OCG (for example, 'Angel 07', an OCG promo from the 'Yu-Gi-Oh R' manga)?

I'm dying to know so that I can try to give my Brick Cards a field-test, but if not I can just break out my BEAD Deck's old decklist out.

To what I recall, your only allowed to use the deck you actually have but I don't know, ask Hyrule, and if we are allowed to use customs, then I really need to finish my Lunar set lol.

Hi! You're not too late to join.

Your decks are limited to real-life released cards(of which there are quantities of more than just a few, like the Seal of Ori-something).

EDIT: So long as they adhere to our Forbidden and Limited list.

The Seal of Oricalcos isn't a real card/card set, same with the three Mythic Dragons/Knights.

Thank you for answering my question, LostInHyrule.

However, I'm still curious as to whether OCG (the Japanese version of YGO) cards (e.g., Angel 07, the nature-based Elemental Heroes, etc.) are allowed -- if they are, I might be tempted to run a Fairy Deck rather than my BEAD/READ Deck.

Which reminds me -- will Side Decks be utilized in this tournament? If not, my BEAD/READ Deck might need to be turned back into a BEAD Deck only.

Can I answer that question? ...If I may Hyrule...I feel that they SHOULD be allowed to use "OCG" cards, but under one condition. That they translate and post the entire text of the card here; Name, Stars, Attack, Defense, Description/effect, Attribute, and Type. Then one of they higher ups can check out the card and if it checks out, they the card is allowed.

Okay, you may if you translate the entire card... and then either Tulip or I approve of it. Because let's be honest - there's probably a reason these cards were dismissed in the American Version.

On the matter of Side Decks, you may use one if you want - but you may have as many decks as you want, so why not just make two slightly different decks?

Say, did anyone (other than me) know that Koitsu and friends actually come from a game called Parodius (which is a parody of Gradius made by Konami)?

Yup. Parodius. It's (as I said before) a parody of Gradius (the ever-famous source of the Gradius, Cyclon Laser, Gradius's Option, Big Core, B.E.S. Crystal Core, B.E.S. Tetran, B.E.S. Covered Core, Boss Rush, Victory Viper XX03, and Power Capsule cards of YGO, the song Burning Heat from DDR/Beatmania, and more), and well . . . let's just say that Koitsu is not exactly PG and leave it at that -- but in case you're curious, here's a URL for a DeviantArt picture that has some info on him (note: this DevArt account and pic are not mine):

Duelist Castle for the First Season will run simultaneously.

What's your idea on how that can be applied to next season?

btw you know I'm up for the next season Lost, I have loads more decks that I can post right now as soon as next season starts. Let me know if I can help although I don't have as many new ideas, I know a bit about most cards in the game and the rulings on how they work.

As for the use of custom cards created by players and OCG not yet released in the TCG I'll try and figure out rulings so there won't be much confusion.

ps Lost Sunday will be the 13 of Jan but chances are you already figured that out ;)

BTW, I'm looking for a new Mod for this place.(no, I'm not replacing Tulip, I just want a 3rd Mod.)
