Shadow Hearts one is the BESTTTTTTTTT! I mean looked at Margraett (sorry for spelling), she is like the way coolessssssst girl character of any RPG. I mean she doesn't care what people see or say about her and she is so funny when she getts her wallet stolen near the end. So who's your Fav. Char. of SH?

Glad to hear that Shadow Hearts has such an dear place in your heart, although calling it the best might be a little over the top. If there is one thing I have learned over the years it is that there is always, and I do mean always, something better out there. As for my favourite character... I'd have to say that there's a shared first place between Yuri, Roger Bacon and Albert Simon.

Yuri because he's such an interesting and well developed character, I'm having a field time shfting through his psyche every single time I play Shadow Hearts and it's sequel.

Roger Bacon... who doesn't love the old goofball? Seriously he cracks me up, he really does. And his clothes *breaks down laughing* to bad they changed his clothing in Covenant and FtNW.

Albert Simon, he's without a doubt one of the best villians I've ever seen, I don't really know why but that's how he comes across for me. Maybe it's the whole polite old gentleman thing he's got going... or it might be the hat, yup, the hat is important for him I'm sure of that.

Neat. I like Yuri to, but not as much as Margertte. And I never knew what other people thought of Simon because no one I know here knows the game. Tear. I like him to because he is creepy and evil. He makes the perfect bad guy ever. Second to another sinister bad guy from FF7! Ask if you don't know. I mean at first he seems like a nice old guy until you see him kill people. And then he is always saying gentlmen things. The hat does work for him. And when you fight him at the end he was mean. Then you fight the God thing that was even meaner. But the first time I played long ago I laughed when I saw the weapon Alice used. I mean her first weapon is a bible. HA that sooo funny. So what was you fav. Fusion in the game? Mine was the last light one. What was your second fav. Boss? Mine the God.

Favourite fusion you say? Well... power vise I favour the ultimate fusion, you know, the one where Yuri looks like a white naked genderless angel. Serapich Radiance or whatever it was, it's been so long since I played it that I can't really remember... hmmm, gotta remedy that. When it comes to looks I'd have to say that the Amon fusion looks cooler than them all.

Favourite boss is definetely ALbert Simon, he can be quite hard if you fail to prepare properly.

I know what you mean by that about Albert. When I first faught him at the end I lost like ten times. I then had an item that stopped him from taking away my sp so then I was fine. The God I thinkl was there so that you could somewhat take a breather and relex. He still was hard but not as hard as Albert. Who was on your team at the end if you remember? Mine was Yuri, Alice, and Margerett. Alice heal, Yuri attack, and Margerett support adn attack. Need all that just to get by Albert.

Just about the same setup but I used Keith instead of Margarete, don't know why really. I think it was because he usees a sword.

Speaking of wich, have you ever noticed anything... special about the casting sequence of Alice's ultimate attack?

Um...I know what it looks like. It's the one where the giant temple appears with the all seeing eye on it right? If so what is it I should look for? And Keith is a good character to say, but I didn't like it speciles. Margarett has someone funny ones, like her bazokka one (sorry for spelling). That is why she is a star of my game X-over fan fic Camp Time. She is a great fighter, but better for support. I'm playing it again this time with same setup w/o Alice and to replace her Halley. He not as good at healing as her, but he is a good magic user.

Hmmm, I never really liked Halley, think it's got something to do with his casting animation or something... "I hate you, I HATE YOU!" It just grates on my nerves.

As for the thing you should look for in that animation... if you take a closer look at Alice herself during it you'll notice that we get a free peek up her skirt. It's not all that important really, I just found it funny when I first saw it.

Philoworm, I think that this game is one of the best. I know that you get to see new games all the time. Then, you are so carried away with the new game, and forget about the old one's altogether. Until you replay the old game and you are reminded of all the things you missed about the old game. Anyway, if you are saying it keeps a dear place in your heart, that means it has to be special.

Anyway, when I think of which characters I like the best, I say all of them. Which is odd enough, seeing as how usually there is at least some annoying character.

I mean Yuri, is the best being rude, and not to mention somehow a saucy, though not arrogant or conceited. Some people say he is like Dante from devil may cry and some say Dante is cooler, but there is something different about Yuri. Not just grabbing at women and hauling a huge sword. Anyone can make a game about that. Yuri is a very deep character that suffered all his life, and is not afraid to show it. He's in a league of his own. He'd be cool even if he didn't have fusion powers.

Next is Zhuzhen, the adept, this guy is cute at times, but never fails to tell Yuri off. Like when he finds Yuri again in the tower again after the demon's invocation gate. He says, I've spent all this time looking for you, you ungrateful son of a **. (Excuse my language). I never talk like that, but the fact that he told Yuri off like that was funny.

Next is Alice, when I played the game, I never expected a girl to be fighting with a bible. Swords, guns, anything but a bible. Though, she does and it seems to work for her. She is so cute and adorable in that way. Contrary to popular belief, she is not a sacrificial lamb. She has a strong mind of her own and is not someone to swayed from their beliefs. She is the perfect character in my eyes, on par with Yuri anyway.

Margarete, is something of an enigma, you have to love her. She is stylish and flashy, and yet never manages to be haughty or conceited about it. It suprised me when I found out that there is a real person named Margarete Gertrude Zelle out there. It threw me for a loop. It is just like Margarete in the game. From the description of the real Margarete in reality, it made me want to meet her, because I thought she would be an awe-inspiring woman.

Here is the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mata_Hari

Halley, is cool and doesn't seem to be annoying to me. Even though, he is young, he is so much more mature than kids his age.

Keith, being a vampire is enough, I really don't get a strong opinion of him. He is there, and charming, the perfect gentleman.

And last but not least, we have Koudelka. Before I even played the first game, I thought she was cool. It was only after playing Shadow Hearts that someone told me of the first game Koudelka. In it, she has a cool personality. You will just have to play it to understand. Even though, she is more mature in Shadow Hearts, she just seems all the more cooler.

Oh, and Albert Simon, is great, the perfect villian. He is a gentleman even when fighting it seems, bowing in a show of respect before trying to kill you and your party.

I never played a game so unique compared to the traditional games that I played. Koudelka, Yuri, Alice, Zhuzhen, Keith, Margarete, and Halley, Koudelka's son. So of course I think it is one of the best games ever made.

Anyway, sorry for the long post. I wanted to write a summary of the character, but it took me awhile.

A good post can never be to long a post.

Honestly I am quite glad to have such a long and thought out review of the characters on this forum. To be honest I thought it dead a long time ago ^_\\\
