ah this forum looks kinda deserted but I'll post anyway. I think Alice because its so clear that Yuri really loved her, seeing the look on his face when *spoilers for covent* they tried to bring her back to life actually made me want to cry. I really loved Karin, she's one of my all time fave game characters but her and Yuri just dont work in my opinion

^.^ I'm deeply in love with Shadow Hearts. And YurixAlice of course. They're...I can't put it in words, really...I love both of them, and their relationship so much...it's the most beautiful I ever seen. Alice is so pure and innocent and Yuri...he's so...AWESOME...and perverted...but still, I love when Alice changes her mind about him and fall in love with him so deeply. And Yuri...he's so great everything about him. I love him more in SH than in SH2 though. His slang and speech was so cool and great and how he was all peverted and dumb but still so...graceful and strong and pure! how Alice said in her monolog *___* one of my favourite scenes of the game ** Or the oath in SH:C...I really cried...I was so touched...

I don't like him with Karin ___

Isn't Karen like... Yuri's mother or something?

Was Karen actually his mother at that point?? O___O

*is confuzzled*

she wasn't actually his mother during sh2, but at the end she supposedly goes back in time and meets his father, and along with many other things this heavily hints that she goes on to marry him and give birth to yuri. It's pretty complicated because its a weird time loop so some people don't thik she's his mother at all, but I think she is which is why I don't like yuri/karin

Even if Karin was never Yuri's mother, can you really say that she should be with Yuri. Yuri would not be alive in the story at this point to even meet Karin if it were not for Alice.

If someone sacrificied there soul for me. I would never look for someone else.

*Sigh* That is what makes the story so romantic. Even after Alice's death Yuri still remains committed to her. Even though Karin is right there. Karin is gorgeous kind and loving and yet is not even able to make a dent into Yuri's love for Alice.

If anyone would be the perfect bride, in my eyes, it's Alice.

*SPOILERS*

Actually, if you go into the mechanics of the temporal dissorder in SH:C Karin was always Yuri's mother. In fact, if you follow the positive ending, the entire universe is caught in a temporal loop. Yuri will always, no matter what, go back in time to the day he meets Alice on the chinese train for the first time... hmm, that is quite the interesting fanfic idea, a time traveling Yuri with the knowledge of a hundered "repeats" trying new ways to break the loop every time. And for comic value, growingn increasingly perverted for every repeat *grins*

Yuri/Alice/Margaret/Karin ^_\\\ *drools*

Regarding the "perfect match" I prefer Karin, Alice is clearly the games "chosen one" But I feel that she lacks the naked fire a gal needs to keep up with Yuri. Now, an Alice with a wilder personality, that would be a perfect match indeed.

Time loops are so confusing though, because Karin is bon a few years before Ann (supposedly Karin) dies so they'd be two Karins alive at once

and I personaly think its Alice's innocence that make her and Yuri so compatiable in the first place, it just seems right, though I do see your point

A wilder personality needn't indicate a lack of innocence you know.
