EuonymTopic: Shakespeare's Spam Thread!!! 46, as it were.
I'm bored, there's nobody around, so i'm making the new spam thread a wee bit early. anyway, why dedicate it to the bard? well, when the king james version of the bible was originally put out, dear will was 46 years old. the 46th word from the beginning of psalm 46 is shake, and the 46th word from the end is spear. cool, eh? MAIIW EDIT! ^O^ 46 is... -The atomic number of palladium -The number of human chromosomes -The decimal value of a period in ASCII (computer type language) -The number of motorcyclist Valentino Rossi -The number of official peaks in the Adirondack mountain range -A defense in football -The total number of books in the Catholic version of the Old Testament -Number corresponding to ADAM's name (A=1, D=4, A=1, M=40) -The international direct number for Sweden -Sometimes used as a greeting in Japanese due to similarities in sound |

prettypinkbookwormhey euo, maiiw :)! I haven't killed a thread in foreeever. It was fun! |
MyArtIsInWords*snuggles euo* :) |
Euonymi just had a discussion with my mother about the relative merits on the enjoyment that comes from killing spiders... jesus, no wonder i'm so ** twisted |
MyArtIsInWords:O prinkles accepted my compliment!! ^o^!! |
Librarian2be*massive huggles prink, euo, and mr. hotpants* What's up gang? I've missed you guys. |
prettypinkbookwormOn the contrary, I think it would be twisted NOT to enjoy killing spiders. Like the creepy people on PBS who will like hold ginormous tarantulas and coo to them like they're little babies. that is INSANE. sure, whatever makes you happy maiiw. |
MyArtIsInWordsive missed you too :) im sure you miss grant more ;P anyway i start school wednesday |
Euonymlibs!!! i haven't talked to you since you started school! tell me absolutely everything. come on, stream of consciousness, i don't care how irrelevant whatever that leads to, i'm just dying to know how your life's been! |
MyArtIsInWords"sure, whatever makes you happy maiiw." lol because it's true ^_^ |
prettypinkbookwormNot much, just working on school stuff and reading a ton lately...just finished an amazing book called Wake and it's sequal Fade, which totally got my hooked...but other than that, life's the usual boring same old, same old. How might you be? |

Librarian2beI do miss him...but not as much as I was last week. I got to visit him this weekend. :D um...well lets see. I moved in which was crazy! A whole team of soccer players attacked my car and managed to get everything unloaded in about 30 seconds. My roommates are nice enough. They don't really seem to get me but oh well. My new friend Sydney is just like you euo! She's amazing and I love her. Plus you two could be like twins. She plays french horn though. My other friend Jenna is into languages and eastern religions. She's taking french, German, and Russian. Then there's Aaron who plays cello and reminds me of eric. We had a interesting few days until I pointed out my ring twenty million times and he moved on. But he's a sweet guy. I'm taking Theory of music 2, West Indian Waves, Concert Choir, Education foundations, Voice lessons, Voice Seminar, Piano lessons, Recital hour, Swing choir, and Acoustics of the voice. I love all my classes. They are pretty easy but time consuming. I haven't found a job yet which is going to be a problem but I have a couple months of buffer that I can go without one before I'm in trouble. I accidentally went to a crazy college party disguised as a Q and A session that was actually a clever method of screening people disguised as a party. Which was interesting. um...oh I went to visit grant this weekend which was amazing and I just got back an hour ago. but I came back to find that my roommates had left trash all over the dorm that attracted ants. So I spent the last hour frantically cleaning our place....and...well that's all I can think of for the moment. If you want more just ask away! |
Librarian2beYour life is never boring prink! *huggles* what's wake about? I'm amazing! With the exception of the ants. |
MyArtIsInWords"I do miss him...but not as much as I was last week. I got to visit him this weekend. :D" I expect you two didn't do much ;P --------- anyway wow that sounds hectic libbles :) hope you're having fun! i hope i have fun when i get back to school XD |
MyArtIsInWords"Your life is never boring prink! *huggles* what's wake about?" cuz she's so pretty! :D |
Euonymgod, it always disgusts me how many classes music majors have to take. wanna know how many i've ever taken at a time? four. five, if you count lab as a class, which i don't. i'm glad you've found my real life, musically inclined twin, though. you need someone to knock some sense into that pretty little head of yours when you're not online, you know. :P |
MyArtIsInWords"you need someone to knock some sense into that pretty little head of yours when you're not online, you know. :P" totally :D |
Euonymthe banner at the top of my screen is trying to give me a free bible... either it picked up on the words "psalm" and "king james" in my first post, or members of the congregation have gotten so in tune with the almighty that they can sense by my mere fingers on the keyboard that i'm desperately in need of a god :P |
prettypinkbookwormIt's about this girl falls into other people's dreams. She can't control it, but sort of gets sucked into dreams people have and blacks out. A friend told me about it, and I picked it up when I was at Borders the other day thinking I might as well try it, and now I'm absolutely in love with it. That is a LOT of classes, how in the world do you do all of them? Good luck on the job search, I think I'm going to start one myself next january when I'm 16 and there aren't a thousand rules about when I can't work. |
Librarian2beoh we did a lot. :P jk *huggles* I am having fun. It is crazy but fun at the same time. I love brown! lol, I have to take more than the average music major because I'm music ed. I'd go crazy if half them weren't ensembles where all I do is sing most of the time. I might be adding another one to my list by the end of this week. lol, and boy does she! She's all ready been yelling at me all week cause I've lost 10 pounds since I've been here. |
prettypinkbookwormmy banner's have all been advertising geek dating sites. 'Like anime? Geek to geek dating is the place for you!" It's rather depressing actually. |
Librarian2beOh shut it mr. hotpants. :P *huggles anyways* It sounds really interesting. If I had more time I'd try to read it. Well most of them are choirs or ensembles. So I don't have to do much other than sing. It takes up a lot of time. Thanks, good luck to you also. Even when you are 16 it's still hard. Some places won't hire until 18 |
MyArtIsInWordswow libbles *snuggles* dont get too skinny :D *snuggles pretty prinkles* what's a pretty girl like you so worried about ;P you'll find a guy |
prettypinkbookwormLet's see, I think my cousin once removed was a music major, and I think at the end he had to compose some sort of fancy orchestra piece...I think that would be the hardest for me. I can usually think up songs in my head, by trying to write it all down into music, or just making sure whatever I made wasn't some blatant ripoff of a Bach piece I'd played four years ago would be my downfall. |
Librarian2beNah, I won't. I've been too skinny once. It won't happen again. Plus look at my avy. My butt can take the loss. |
Euonymyeah, but ensembles are so time consuming! i roomed with a music major, i know the inner workings. *nods sagely* do your best not to go insane. and now hold on, missy! ten pounds?! no no. i'll have grant mail you those 1000 calorie bars or whatever the ** they were, see if i don't! |
Librarian2belol, you could do it if you took enough music theory classes prink. |
MyArtIsInWordslol im not going to stare at your avvy butt :P anyway i gotta go. have to get back into the school sleep cycle later ladies :P |
prettypinkbookwormoooh, the 1000 calorie bars like they had on mean girls? I'm actually seriously considering AP music theory next year. I'm a bit rusty on theory and I think it'd help me a lot with my piano. |
prettypinkbookwormnight maiiw! Now you can't try to work in the p-word anymore :p |
Librarian2beNight mr. hotpants! *huggles* lol, I won't go insane. I am singing 1 and a half hour opera at this huge mansion on Saturday. It's going to be so much fun! ^_^ I've been here almost 3 weeks euo. Ten pounds is not that much. and don't bring those up. I'm still mad at him for that! :P You should take it! It's a really fun class! |
Euonymooh, opera's fun! my school did carmen last year. it was great. the amount of time you've been there means absolutely nothing to me. i choose what i care about selectively, and the number ten currently means more to me than three. now. i'd like for you to keep in mind that the freshman fifteen is the number gained, not lost. if you start now, then your freshman fifteen will actually be more like a freshman five, and that's certainly okay, hmm? i think that sounds like a plan. :P |
Librarian2beCarmen or Carmina? lol, you don't understand though. Brown is situated at the top of college hill. I have to walk up and down that huge hill multiple times a day. Plus they have lots of really good vegetarian dishes here. How about I promise to try to not lose anymore...and eat dessert everyday? |
prettypinkbookwormI think I will, especially since AP chemistry sounds less and less desirable to hear my junior friends speak of it...music has to be more fun! *sneaks off to bed* I'ma sleep now...bye guys! :) |
Euonymcarmen. most of the people i went with had no idea what they were actually going to go see, they just knew someone who was singing, so they were really shocked when they realized they knew like the torreador song or the habanera. i laughed a bit. hmm.... with vegetarian dishes combined with your metabolism i'd much prefer a cookie at every lunch and dessert of your choosing at every dinner. but if you be sure to pick the biggest dessert you can find i might be middlingly content with just dessert everyday... maybe. |
Librarian2beew, don't do that nasty AP chemistry stuff. Music is way more fun! *huggles* Night prink! |
Librarian2belol, ah. We're singing Carmina Burana. It's this amazing overly dramatic opera. So much fun. What if I eat a few hersheys kisses everyday plus some cheese and crackers as a snack instead? |
Euonymi've never heard carmina burana performed. i know some of the music just because i'm weird and accumulate random knowledge like mosquitoes to a bug zapper. i glow blue at night, too. the kisses and crackers instead of the dessert or the cookie? 'cause i've gotta tell you, you're the one who suggested the dessert first, and now that it's been offered up, i'm quite attached to it. |
Librarian2beYou should listen to it. It's on youtube but it's an hour and 10 minutes long. So don't do it until you have time to devote to it. You glow blue? are you sure that's safe? instead of the cookie and the dessert. The cheese and crackers will be a midnight snack so they will actually be unhealthy and stick to my butt. |
Euonymwell, you know, one never can know what is and is not safe these days. hell, a poptart can cause cancer. and if something as good for the soul as a poptart can be so dangerous to life, then it's entirely possible that glowing blue will do absolutely nothing. besides, it was only a radioactive carrot or two that did it.. (i know, weird, right? carrots turning you blue rather than orange? i'd have never believed it. but the caged, aged ** stars i keep locked up in my basement were complaining that something was off about the carrots i was feeding them, so i tried one for myself and lo and behold! bug zapper blue.... that kind of got away from me there, didn't it? lol.) i think you need to tell this sydney person that you are required by me and my mother henning to eat at least one hugely fattening item per day. per end of day, when you can't work it off. |
Librarian2belol, oh I love you euo! *massive huggles* Remind me not to go away for too long again. I miss this...meaning the crazy things your brain does. :P Nope! If you want to tell her then you are going to have to track her down and tell her yourself. :P |
Euonymlol. one day i hope to reign in my brain at least slightly. you know, before it finds that road that leads to geriatric ** stars named steel oaks or something again. because trust my luck it'll do that at a job interview, and suddenly i have to explain why i have the name steel oaks at the tip of my tongue and why on earth i care that his ** career is gone forever. not to mention what that has to do with wherever i'm applying...... please, libs, my love. don't challenge me. all it takes is a college directory and the ability to not mind sounding like a creepy stalker person.... although that last bit probably applies to me. i don't think i'd ever really send out a mass email to all undergrads matching that first name saying "hello, all! jolly good morning/afternoon/evening/so freaking early you're probably hitting yourself on the head right now for opening up this email and having to deal with this at such an ungodly time to you! now, i have this friend, see, and i think she might be a friend of yours, too. the only thing is, i don't know which you, which sydney that is, is the one who has this mutual, underfed friend. so you'll forgive my super secret covert spy choice of words, but if the underfed friend (codename songbird) of the party of the first (codeword stalker) is the same songbird as belonging to the party of the second (codename unknown. you get to choose your own adventure. fun, yeah?) please respond post haste so we can discuss songbird's ill habits." |
Librarian2belol, well as long as you only reign it in for things like job interviews. if you reigned it in for good I'd be depressed. lol, while that would be amusing...I have full faith in your ability to do it so I'll save you the trouble. I'll tell her for you...or at least I'll tell her that you say I need to east healthier. :P jk. |
