I like both Stork and Junko. Aerrow, Finn, and Piper are next in line.

I'm probably the only person out there who's favorite character is Dove. I can't help it! She was so cool in "Gale Force Winds". My favorite male character is Aerrow, though Finn and Stork are in a tie for second favorite male. I also like Master Cyclonis. You have got to respect an evil tween like her. She has gumption. But, overall it's Dove by a long shot.

Oh, it's a tie between Cyclonis and Stork.

Why?

Because if I was totally evil, I'd be exactly like Cyclonis. And if I was a pilot of a ship that included a crazy captain, an evil looking rabbit dog thing, a guy with an ego as big as Finn's, a rhino thing that cooks stuff that tries to eat my face, and Piper, I'd be as neurotic and crazy as Stork.

I really dont know, I like all of the characters, but after 'the Black Gorge' episode it's a tie between Finn and Stork.

Master Cyclonis all the way! Hands down it's Master Cyclonis just for being so cool...and for finally showing that the bad guys in all cartoons have to be guys.

Oopsie!! I made a mistake in my last post. I meant to put: "and for finally showing that the bad guys in cartoons DON'T have to be guys"

Its a tie between Piper & Aerrow for me.

Has anyone else noticed that in every group of super heros, teens, or just regular heros, that there is always more boys in the group then girls on both sides!!!

I prefer Finn and Stork.

Society's patriarchal. I don't blame them.

It would be a tie between Stork and the Dark Ace for me. XD But Aerrow and Finn are right up there, and Junko's pretty cool, too. :)

Please note that I did respond to your question.

Society's patriarchal. I don't blame them.

Besides, as long as the storyline and art's good, I don't care. Boys can be just as aesthetically pleasing as girls.

1) i have know idea what patriachal means

2) why dont you blame them

3) i have no idea what aesthetically means

First and last questions can be answered using a dictionary.

As for the second, I don't blame them because men are much more durable physically than women. They're often taller and stronger, although science has told us women live longer. I'd also like to point out that Storm Hawks is a show created by a man (Asaph "Ace" Fipke) and was probably created as a point of interest for more young male viewers than female due to the cartoon violence and so forth involved.

im taller than all my guy friends, & i like cartoon violence, being girl or boy has nothing to do with liking cartoon violence. & it being created by a man also has nothing to do it.

Sorry about the double post.

I'll make this one worthwhile: Basically, despite having a majority of males in real-life military, the Sky Knights appear to vary in their compositions, both between males and females, and between the number of people.

For instance, the Third Degree Burners appear to be just three people (all male), while the Rex Guardians are at least seven (one female) and the Absolute Zeroes are six with three females (and given their assumption that Piper was the Storm Hawks's Sky Knight because she was the only female, belong to a matriarchal society). So the number and gender composition varies in the different Terra cultures.

I don't exactly know 'why' but it is directed towards boys, but as we can see here, girls like it too! Heck, I like it! The problem is that people stereotype girls a lot for being little.....well.....mall-goer-dress-up-fragile-pretty-little-need-taking-care-of-babies. Yeah, you might see some people like that (I've even seen guys like that), but that doesn't mean all girls are like that. I hate girls like that because they give us a bad reputation as little fragile babies.

But anyways, talking about Storm Hawks, considering it was made by a guy, it makes sense that he would make the majority of them male, but look at Starling! I mean, she rocks!

My favorite characters are Aerrow, Starling and Radarr. Aerrow because.....well he's just plain awesome. Starling because she's an awesome Sky Knight and Radarr because.........he's Radarr....

I agree with you there blackkittypaws. Girls aren't little fragile beings. Gah. I hate that.

Sorry off topic. Anywho my 3 fav char would be:

1) Dark Ace

2) Aerrow

3) Stork

Cool picture. Anyways, I agree with you two. I HATE how people think all girls are weak (& possibly stupid). But Starling & Piper both rock!

For sure. And Starling and Piper are the best female characters in my opinion. They show back bone that's what I like about them. ^^

I like all the characters, but Stork, Piper, and Finn are my favorites. Starling's awesome too.

Man, I wish there were more shows with female heroes. Can't let the guys have all the fun, can we?

In response to the "zomg girlz" posts I see above:

I see no problem with there being a lack of female characters, because Piper, Starling, and Cyclonis are all extremely good examples of creating a believable, dynamic female protagonist/antagonist. Would you really want a story where the woman is the hero, but is terribly annoyingly girly, like in Totally Spies? I say instead of wondering why there aren't more girls, we should start appreciating these characters that obviously had a lot of thought put into them.

In case you can't tell... Piper is my favorite character hands down, even though I think Stork is a sexy beast. Rawr. He's so wonderful because I like sinister characters, and behind that dorky exterior lies a true villain! Muahahhahaha!

True, but that doesn't mean I can't stop complaining about there being less girls. I say that there should be a Sky Knight team (or whatever their called) that is all female & they should be in an episode, & Finn, being the total retard that he is, would call them weak girly girls, then them plus Piper, would beat him up; then they would help the Storm Hawks stop Master Cyclonis' plan, kick major butt, & at the end they(plus Piper) would make Finn do something totally embarrassing for calling them weak girly girls.

That would be an awesome episode!

Yeah! That would be awesome!

I guess, though theres not alot of female characters, the ones there are (piper,cyclonis,Suzi-luu,etc.) all have large character development, there not just backround noise.

Yeah. Still, there are an overwhemlming amount of boys in a girl to boy ratio on Storm Hawks. Same thing goes for Naruto, FF all, Kingdom Hearts, most movies, and even Harry Potter.

I have to say that for a show whose target demographic seems to be more male than female, it's done a good job of giving us quite a few great female characters, all of whom have been mentioned in this thread, so I won't run down the list again. Being a girl myself, I have to say that I, personally, do not have a problem with the number of female characters on the show.

That being said, my two favorite characters are totally Master Cyclonis and Dark Ace. What can I say, I have a major soft spot for villains, and these two rock. My only regret with the show so far has been the woefully inadequate screentime they've given MC, so far. She's way underutilized.

My favorite is Stork.

Followed by the generic Cyclonian fodder(they never get a break).

Stork comes in first because he has a personality like mine.

Yeah, seriously. MC needs to show off some of that sadistic personality we get a glimpse of in "Best Friends Forever" when she jolts Piper with that staff of hers.

So far, Master Cyclonis's powers are

Using Crystals without any visible medium (like a weapon)

Floating (first episode, against Aerrow)

Darth Vadar Chokehold

Big Evil Red Hand Thing (first episode, against Repton)

Vanish in a puff of smoke (Best Friends Forever)

Very detailed disguises (Best Friends Forever)

Did I forget any? feel free to add to the list.
