Subscribtion

If you don't want your email flooded, it's better to unsubscribe. You can choose to not receive those alerts by not subscribing to topics, to unsubscribe when you get the emails (I think it's one of the options) or disactivate your forum alerts on your profile.

Or you can always accept to get around 100 emails or more containing forum alerts.

POT Minutes/ Creating New Topics

POT Minutes is a thread in which we, moderators, inform you of the updates in the Forum. New threads, new games, changes and much more will be noted there. That's why you have to read it when there has been an updated.

Normal members can also post on there to discuss projects for the forum that they have been thinking about. Questions, comments and all that jazz is accepted too. But aside from that, please don't post there.

If you think that a new topic should be made, you can plead your case in the POT Minutes thread, where it will be decided whether or not the thread should be made. Please do not make random threads, especially if other threads already have the same purpose n___n"

Moderators

Despite what you may be thinking, we do work for the forum! Currently, there are for moderators: ChibisukeGirl (who doesn't spend that much time on, but is still very useful), awin-chan, Sweet Obsidian Rain, and myself (the one who created the forum)

We need to have enough moderators to count the number of members on our hands. xD

Warnings

We tend to be a bit critic about many stories, especially the ones that we believe to contain Mary Sues, or works that seems to be written by four years old since the grammar is horrific. So yeah, we complain a lot.

You've been warned.

Flooding

Is everywhere on the forum. I try to limit it as much as possible, so please help me do so. There are many threads and if you want to start talking about -something else-, then ask us to create a new topic.

And there IS the flooding thread. Actually, there are quite a few. Old ones that have reached full capacity (5000 post) and a new one that is being happily flooded.

Besides, I'll be starting a cleaning operation. I'll be deleting useless posts and topics. ^^

There are great chances that, once you've entered our grounds, many people will try to brainwash you into their OTP. I, myself, do it.

-OTP Challenge :

A writing thread where five different pairings will be decided on, and forumers are free to participate in this writing challenge.

The rules are quite simple:

1) You have to write a drabble or a oneshot for every pairing. If the amount of words exceed 230, you have to post your fic elsewhere and link us to it. n___n

2) Once you've written in a category, you have to write in every other category if you want to write in it again. For instance, if you wrote a Thrill drabble, you'll have to write some AtoRyo, then a bit of Sweet, then write ToFu and finally Smiling before writing some Thrill again! =D

-4-Truple Game : The rules are easy, you come up with four titles and four summaries. It could be titles and summaries that you're working on, or just something that you made up right on the spot. The titles could be even in other languages, but be sure to post the translation beside it!

The subject of the game is for the next poster to invent PoT related summaries based on the titles of previous poster and invent titles based upon the summaries. We know you, so don't dare skip any!;P Use your imagination for all of them! When you're finished, come up with your own titles and summaries for the next poster so the game can continue.

Second Poster: Has attempted to jump off a 100 storey-building.

Third Poster: Enjoys watching R-18 movies

Fourth Poster: Owns 1,000,000 copies of yesterday's newspaper.

- RACKS Game : Welcome to the Random Acronym Keyboard Slam (RACKS) Game! Basically, it's like this!

First, you close your eyes, then slam your fist or fingers on the keyboard (but if you fear for your keyboard's survival, gliding through it is allowed as long as you don't look at it). Random letters should pop out like this:

Then using your wildest imagination, think up of a meaning for those letters, the crazier the better, just like this:

- Let's Rant : Now! This isn't a thread in which you just walk in and start ranting about whatever and turn this into some kind of flooding thread! This is a thread in which you rant about something that the above poster wrote!

- Silly Answers: Pretty simple too. You ask a question about Prince of Tennis, and the one who answers you has to reply something really random, that makes no sense at all. And when you answer, you ask another question for the game to keep going.

- Surveys: Oh, what fun. Ok, I - or any of the mods- submit the survey, bolded and all, for you to see. Now we all love surveys- I mean, you have to, what with the polls and interviews and liking all sorta games. So you cut and paste the original survey into your own reply and fill it out for the world to see! Nifty, huh?

- Drama Sutra: This is a share facts about yourself kind of topic. You post something about yourself, though it doesn't necessarily have to be a secret or something personal/embarrassing. It can be something you fail to notice about yourself, something that makes you happy or sad, something no one asks you about, a goal, a dream, anything that defines you.

- Anime: Dubs and Subs: Self-explanatory. XD

- General Culture and Random Knowledge: Obviously, we come from different places, have different educations, lead different lives, read different things...

So we all know different things, may it be random or not. I mean, who doesn't gain pointless information that he can't share because it's useless?

Besides, we are bored too often. This thread should be fun.

It's pretty simple, really. You come, you read a bit and you post some random fact.

- JET: In case some of you ask about it, this is because of my successful attempt to corrupt the forum into the lovely JE (Johnny's Entertainment) fandom, a group of us have formed the acronym "JET", which we call ourselves. It stands for Johnny's Entertainment (fan) Team. Originally, it was stood for JE Trio, but since we have more people now, it's TEAM. XD We are the JE team of the forum, but any JE fan can feel free to hang round us. Everyone is welcomed! I like characterization, too. i mean it's not that i don't like seeing text like this but... yeah. i don't.

If there's a way for you to have a spellcheck in your Firefox window, by all means, install it.

If the mods have to warn you several times about you disobeying the rules, that means there's a problem. Now, don't consider this a threat, but I can block people out of my forum if it pleases me to do so. Don't you even dare think "She's never there, she wouldn't know." Hey, I'm the creator of this bloody forum. I know. Besides, it's not like the mods aren't my friends or on my MSN list or anything, is it?
