"How is that mean?" said Ryoma, puzzled.

"Because it just is!" said Sanada loudly.

From his place somewhere, Yukimura gave another banshee scream.

Leave Yukimura alone already!

Ryoma ignored Sanada and Momoshiro. They weren't worth his time, anyway.

And Ryoma skipped happily to the sunset.

I have to say, your icon is epic.

Momoshiro and Sanada were enchanted by the sight of Ryoma skipping to the sunset. Everything was perfect; the sakura petals were slowly falling on the boy, the flowers were blooming beautifully and the wind made Ryoma look like a supermodel... until the poor kid tripped, that is.

And then someone laughed evilly.

It was Yukimura. He believed it was divine retribution.

Because he was, after all, the Child of God, and the little brat had tried to steal away his Sanada.

And then Satan came out of nowhere, took Yukimura and beat him so terribly that he couldn't move even if he's the Child of God. Now he's in hell and no one has to worry about him.

Having reached home, Ryoma opened the door with his keys and let Karupin free from his arms before closing it behind him. However, he dared not to turn around.

From behind him, he could hear the soft padding of Karupin's paws, it's nails tapping on the wooden floorboards as it made its way to what Ryoma suspected was the kitchen. He still did not dare to turn around, that is, until he heard Karupin hiss.
