Well folks, here it is, the long-awaited fifth installment of Guess the Author.

It's been a while, so let me spell out the rules again. You write a one-shot, based on the topic I provide, and submit it to me by email before 11:59 pm EST, December 14th. On December 15th, I post all the stories under the GWA account, and it's up to the fans to figure out who wrote each story provided. The one who gets the most right at the end wins, and selects the story topic for the next contest.

Remember folks, it must be a new story, though you can tie it into your own storylines if you want. Just remember, that might make it easy to pick you out if you do.

Now folks, in the 4th installment, Sir Sebastian won the honour of picking the next topic, and I must say, it should make things interesting. And the subject is...

RUFUS

Our good Finn felt that Rufus wasn't quite getting the attention he deserved, so now we should have a whole lot of new stories devoted to the little guy. And that doesn't mean you can't have anyone else in the story, but the focus should be on our favourite naked mole rat (unless you are like Ron and have your own, because then that would obviously be your favourite... I'm diverging, aren't I?). I've even got mine percolating already. Believe me folks, it will be good. So have fun, submit those stories, and let the contest BEGIN!

Just wanted to say how happy I am this is being continued... I hope there will be a good turnout for this...

This ought to be interesting. Neo maybe writing a K/R? Maybe KT would write something less than brilliant. The possibilities are endless.

Is crushing on Rufus (the emotional kind, not the physical kind) considered a 'M' rating?

I would say when you're talking about the emotional, that it wouldn't need to be an M. It would just need to be witten in a manner that there aren't any references to body parts.

... One thing though that I thought of, is that on numerous occasions Rufus is being kissed in the show. And now that I think about it, was Ron the only one who ever kissed the little guy? I can't seem to remember if any girls gave the little guy a smooch... (But I could be wrong)

I honestly can't recall any of the ladies actually kissing the little guy. Heaven knows that he deserves to be given a smacker now and then. After all, he is a hero.

The closest I remember is in StD, part 3, when he and Monique lean into each other and sigh when Kim and Ron FINALLY get together on the dance floor.

Interesting thought, Bonnie Rockwaller seriously crushing on our favorite rodent. Hmmm...

Does anyone know when this contest is officially over? I'm asking because I'm planning to post my entry under my pen name at the end of February so I want to know if the contest will be done by then.

I think it is over, but Zaratan hasn't had the time to post the results.
