If that is the case, I am sorry to see it pass. I may not have liked the behind-the-scenes political cr&p associated with them. However, it was good to see quality works of fan-fiction getting well-deserved recognition.

In the interest of full disclosure, I was nominated in two of the unfinished categories. Because the polls closed quite a few months ago, I feel I can freely wonder if I actually stood a snowball's chance in H-E-Double-Mole-Rats of winning anything without being considered as pandering for votes.

Don't worry, SC, I'm sure that's not the case. MrDrP's story isn't replacing Z's story, you can say it's filling in for the Fannies until Z is back to finish the job.

BTW, SC, since you're still a member of the site, does that mean we can expect a new story from you in the future?

It has been another month since we have heard from Zaratan. I would like to ask whoever can get in touch with him to please ask him to at least post the results. Everytime he mentions he will update, he doesn't. If he doesn't have the time at least send the the chapters to someone else so that they can post them. I believe the writers who have waited 6 months for an answer have waited long enough.

I am at a library checking email while visiting with my in-laws. When I logged on I found that Zaratan had accepted my request to be 'friended' on Facebook. After leaving a brief message on his wall I came here hoping to see the details of his period of silence. I imagine that whatever has kept him from the internet has left him with a pile of personal business that will require a lot of his attention. My guess is still that he will be around here soon to give further evidence that he lives. In the meantime, I thought I would mention the sighting. It has been long enough that I know many people have been worried about him (myself included). I will guess that his presence here will probably be a bit spotty in the near future as he tries to catch up with many things.

Well, it's been over a week since the latest update to the Fannies. I do hope Z hasn't left us again!

Eddy I don't think that Z's gonna be brought back again just because I'm starting to get bored again and am working on another story line (which might get me tarred and feathered). I mean he has a pretty thick skin. KP FF has survived my first set of stories pretty well. We could use the OMG, ST-103 got bored again....but I doubt if it would work...however you never know.
