Anime-StarWars-fan-zach(You miss-spelled Courscant.)After they had landed at the hanger, Duo left the temple to get some information. After going into the lower levels of Courscant, Duo went into a cantina and went to the bartender. "Hello. Nice to see you again." Duo said to him. The bartender stopped what he was doing and looked at him. He give Duo his drink and said: "I heard you were dead." he replied. "You heard wrong. Now, I need some information on the Imperials. Do you know what planet they're at?" Duo asked him after finishing his drink.. "I'm sorry Duo, they threatened my family. I hope you can forgive me if you survive." the man replied. "What are y-" before Duo could say anything else, he fell to the floor unconscious. Two Imperial offiers in disguise came over to the bar and picked Duo up. "Thank you for your help. When the Empire is re-installed, you will be greatly rewarded by Lord Magus. Your family is safe and here's the 50,000 credits we promised." one of the officers said and give Kira a credit chip. "Please forgive me Duo." the man muttered to himself. As Shaak Ti meditated in her room in the Jedi Temple, she felt a disturbance in the Force from Duo. Shaak Ti opened her eyes and said: "Duo is in trouble." She left her room in search of Tol, or anyone else who could help her find out what happened to him. (Duo has been kidnapped and will be taken to Byss where he will be interrogated by the Sith. I plan to have Duo possibly turn to the Darkside, so don't kill him Sith Master2019 if Xarkun interrogates him.) |

rimera(Um... you misspelled it, too. It's Coruscant. And, if you want, Lo can help Shaak Ti, she can come by looking for Tol and find her. Lo's looking for something to do, and Tol will probably have to get his sister settled in. In other words... please take me?? LOL!)Tinder gestured to the girl she caught stealing from Choc. "Well? I ain't gonna wait here all day, sister!" |

Anime-StarWars-fan-zach(Strange, I thought it was always spelled Courscant, not Coruscant.) |
|
Anime-StarWars-fan-zach(Sure, I'll take you.)While looking for Tol, Shaak Ti bumped into Lo. "Can you help me with something? I believe that something bad has happened to Duo." Shaak Ti said. |

SwimAngel[Oh! Tierva will come too, if she's allowed. She hasn't gotten much action yet.]Tierva was walking through the halls aimlessly, trying to relax after that disasterous trip to Mos Eisley and her assailant before that. Though, since she never got a good chance to relax, she almost expected to hear urgent voices up ahead. A turn around the corner revealed Tol and Shaak-Ti, and Tierva could tell that something was not right with Shaak. "What's happening?" Tierva inquired once she was within earshot. |
|
rimeraAfter her meditations, Lo got up and stretched. Content, she grabbed her utility belt from her bed and put it back on, clipping her lightsaber to it. Vision from only one eye was still disconcerting, but she was getting used to it now, though she heavily depended on her other senses now, and would from now on. Feeling hungry, she got up and left the room, bumping into Shaak Ti."Can you help me with something? I believe that something bad has happened to Duo," she told her. Lo nodded fervently, still unsure if Master Ti understood Shriiwook (does she?). Knowing Tol could contact her through their bond if he needed to know where she was, she followed the Jedi Master down the corridor, hoping nothing bad had happened to Duo. |

Anime-StarWars-fan-zach(She does, and Tierva can join.)"I believe that Duo may be in trouble. I felt a disturbance in the Force coming from him." Shaak Ti replied. |

SwimAngelDuo. Tierva couldn't help but crack a smile at the thought of him. Sure, he was a pervert, but he was always good for a good laugh. "I'll help you then," she stated. She could relax later. When one Jedi was in trouble, she was always ready to help. |
|
rimera(Um... I'm going to assume for the moment that Tol isn't with them, since Shadow B. Panther hasn't posted yet, and I don't want to put him somewhere where he isn't, ya know? Also, you told me, but Lo still doesn't know, unless Shaak Ti demonstrates it.)Following the two Jedi, Lo sent a message to her master. /Tol, something's wrong with Duo, I'm with Shaak Ti. We're going to investigate,/ (they can't hear this part...) she sent. Then she turned to Master Ti. /Tol knows what's going on,/ she said, hoping Master Ti could understand her. | #10 Jul 18th 2007, 6:34pm

Anime-StarWars-fan-zach"By the way, I can understand you Lo." Shaak Ti said to her as they were almost to the cantina. Once they were at the cantina, they entered and Shaak Ti went over to the bartender. "Excuse me, was Duo here recently?" she asked. "I'm sorry Master Jedi, I had no choice. The Imperial's threatened to kill my family if I didn't put a sleeping potion in Duo's drink. I did as they told me and after Duo lost conscious two Imperial officers came and took him away. I don't know where they are now. Please forgive me Master Jedi." the bartender said.Shaak Ti's eyes widdened in shock. "Duo.......no. I can't lose Duo. I lost two padawns in the war, and I can't lose him." Shaak Ti said as tears came to her eyes. She had hidden her feelings about the deaths of her two padawns in the Clone Wars, but she couldn't hide her feelings any longer. She couldn't stand losing Duo to death......or worse. | #13 Jul 18th 2007, 6:48pm

SwimAngelTierva lowered her gaze sadly for a moment. That was quite unfortunate, but all hope was not lost. She put her hand on Shaak Ti's shoulder reassuringly. "Have faith, Master," she said, trying to be comforting. "If the Empire was intent on killing Duo, they wouldn't have told the bartender to put a sleeping potion in his drink. They would have just killed him outright."| #14 Jul 18th 2007, 6:52pm

rimeraLo placed a hand on the Jedi Master's shoulder. /Don't worry, we'll find him,/ she growled, trying to be optimistic like Tol always was. She thought about what the bartender had said. /How long ago was he taken?/ she growled to the bartender, who backed away frightened. Senator Elizabeth OrganaWhen the ship had landed, Elisabeth had bid goodbye to Tierva and the other Jedi. A few were going to meditate, others were going to a bar; all she wanted to do was go to her flat and cry her eyes out, break a few dishes, and work on that gods forsaken bill that got them all into this mess. "If you need me I'll be at my flat in the Senators' Residences at 500 Republica," Elisabeth said tiredly, "please, if anything comes up, and I'll be here as fast as I can." Elisabeth walked out onto the streets of Coruscant, sure that she was not in danger of getting killed for her identity. It was a dark night, and as always the lights obscured the billions upon trillions of stars in the sky. She missed seeing the stars like she could on Alderaan or on Chandrila. Returning to Coruscant was like returning to a nightmare. She was truly alone in the world now--except for her Jedi friends and the few friends, if politicians could really be called that, in the Senate. Mon Mothma was gone, her mother was gone, her uncle was gone. She didn't have much family left. Just as she was being left to her musings, she sensed a disturbance in the Force. She dismissed it as nothing. This was one skill that she had to hone. If there was something seriously wrong, Tierva would communicate with her. She went back to her melancholy thoughts and was once again interrupted by the last person she wanted to talk to: Chris Rimera. She groaned and turned on him. "So, you're making a profession out of stalking Senators?" she snapped, "that's just great. I'm one lucky girl." Her voice was filled with a large amount of sarcasim. "Nope. Just you. Honestly, Your Highnessness--" "Stop calling me that. You're driving me insane." "Fine, Elisabeth, you shouldn't b--" "Don't call me that either. You are to address me as Senator Organa. Is that clear?" "Fine. But you really shouldn't be walking a-" Elisabeth walked up to him, angry that he'd stopped her once again from making any progress in anything. "I shouldn't be doing what exactly, Christopher?" she snapped again. There was utter disdain in her voice. "The name's Chris, and second, you shouldn't be walkin' by yourself in Coruscant at night. It's--" "And when did you turn into the gentleman? Last time I checked you were a pirate. A no good, scruffy, dirty pirate." "Whoa. Woha. Woha. First of all--It's a respectable profession." "By who?! Why don't you go back to it?" "By lots of folks. And two, will ya let me finish?" "Fine. Proceed," Elisabeth said flatly as she stood with her arms crossed, "I don't have to listen to you! And stop following me!" She turned to walk away, but Chris grabbed her arm instead. "Let go," she said. "I will when I'm finished. As I was saying... A woman like... uh... such as yourself--" "You're doing great, flyboy. You really have a way with words." Sarcasim again. "A woman... a lady--" "I'm not fifty! I'm 17!" She yelled as she jerked her arm out of his grasp. "Okay, a young lady, such as yourself, shouldn't be walkin' around the streets of Coruscant by herself at this time of night. Bad things can happen to ya. And that is why I'm accompanyin' you home. To make sure you're safe." She really didn't want him following her home and finding out where she lived. But, she really wanted to get home. "Fine. You may," she replied softly, "but on two conditions. One, you act like a gentleman--I have a certain reputation to uphold. Don't reply. And two, nobody-- absolutely nobody --finds out that I am a Jedi and about the trip to Tatooine. Deal? Shake, Rimera." She held out her hand, and he took it. At least it's an improvement..., Chris thought. "The New Republic means the world to me," Elisabeth continued, "and I'm not going to have you do anything to screw that up. Got it?" "Yeah," he muttered as he walked behind her down Central Ave., within a block of the Jedi Temple, to one of the tallest, and most expensive buildings in this part of the city. "Only Senators live here," Elisabeth said as if she anticipated his thought. | #21 Jul 19th 2007, 12:04am . Edited Feb 23rd 2008, 10:50pm

Senator Elizabeth OrganaElisabeth, followed by Chris walked into the building. "Good evening, Miss Organa. You have had quite a few visitors in the past couple of days. In fact, here come a few of them..." the bellboy at the desk told her. "Very well, Dessenger," she replied. Bring on the pain, thought Elisabeth as flashbulbs went off and journalists swarmed the lobby. "Senator Organa, a minute of your time please?" "Senator Organa, on Mon Mothma's demise, do you believe that you will take her place?" "What is the cause of the immediate break in the Senate?" "Where have you been?" "Senator Organa, will you be in charge of funeral arangements?" "Who is this man?" Elisabeth's head hurt from all of the attention. Undoubtedly, there'd be somebody from the state at her flat. She answered the questions unemotionally and in order, "Not tonight, gentlemen; I am very tired. I do not know what will happen, but if I am nominated and/or elected leader of the Senate, I will uphold the principles of this democracy and the Republic itself. That is classified information, and cannot be disclosed at this time. I have been away at an undisclosed location, and no, gentlemen, it will not be divulged. I will most likely be in charge of funeral arrangements once a proper autopsy is done. And finally, this man is on my security team. He is also a friend. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've had a long day. Please show yourselves out. You know the way." She walked through the pack and into the lift. "I can't believe how you handled that... So I'm your friend, eh?" Chris asked as he smiled. "Shut up." The rest of the ride to her flat was in silence. When they got there, there was the state official waiting for her. "Hello, Tandria. I will be right with you," Elisabeth greeted. She turned to Chris. "Mr. Rimera," she began, "you may have the couch. The kitchen is there at your convenience. Please do not make a mess." Chris nodded and went off to get food. Elisabeth sat down with Tandria and started planning Mon Mothma's procession. Seven hours later, it was done. If she was emotionally exhausted in the beginning, she was even more so now. Mon Mothma would have the finest funeral seen since Padme Amidala's on Naboo. Her casket would be carried through the streets by twelve white Gualaars, the flowers would be a flower similar to the Earth orchid in white and blues and other delicate flowers in that same color scheme, the prosession would occur on Chandrila, the music would be orchestral, and finally, the New Republic would be in mourning for one month. Elisabeth said good night to Tendria, and walked calmly into her bedroom, and locked the door behind her. | #22 Jul 19th 2007, 12:17am . Edited Feb 23rd 2008, 10:54pm

Shadow B. Panther(Sorry for disappearing, friend kept me out most of the day and got in late, only now awake since something woke me.)The trip back to the temple hadn't been too much trouble for Toleen except when they were blocked by the Star Destroyers, but that didn't bother him much and he spent most of his time destroying TIE Fighters. As soon as they entered hyperspace he set his auto pilot and took a nap since he felt that he needed the rest and wanted to do some training when he got back to the temple. As soon as they landed he checked on his sister and had presented her to the masters and requested that he be allowed to make her his second student. He was told that they would think about it, but she needed to have physical and mental examination to check her health. They had told him that he needed to leave her alone for a few hours and he was assured that no matter the outcome he would be allowed to spend time with her. After that Tol decided that he need to work on his training, which the few that knew his standards thought he was crazy. He would often used the ASP-19 training droids to practice saber dueling, but unlike most he gave two training sabers some and rapid fire blasters to others while having them set to their highest setting. The same was with the Marksman-H combat remotes as he would have the metal spheres set with quicker fire and movements. Today the Horansi was feeling like pushing his limit. He went to the training room where ten training droid with sabers, six droids with blasters, and two remotes were waiting for him. They the droids were relatively new and Tol made sure that the worse he would do was sever a limb, replacing a limb was a lot less expensive than replacing the entire droid. He stood in the room with the droids and spheres all surrounding him, each one programmed to attack him and avoid each other. Usually he would have less of each number and didn't fight remotes with droids, but he wanted to test himself and was going to completely rely on the force to win. Tol placed a blindfold over his eyes and placed ear plugs in his ears while giving the order to attack. One hour later a very tired black furred Horansi was laying on the floor of the training room with droids scattered all around him. Some were missing an arm or a leg, others had blaster burns in their heads were or in the center of their chests. The two remotes that he used were in the center of the floor and Tol was breathing hard from as he laid their with his golden eyes looking up at the ceiling. "I wonder if any of the masters are crazy enough to do something like that?" He wasn't talking to anyone as he was alone, but he would receive an answer anyway. "I doubt it, though I hope that you can teach me to be that good one day." Tol tilted his head to the side to see Mira leaning against the open door frame and still wearing black, though the clothes weer more form fitting than what he gave her. "I was given these clothes by one of the masters that was about my size. I was sent to tell you what happened. Apparently I need a new diet since I'm somewhat underweight and lacking some nutrition, I'm too skilled not to be allowed in the Order, I'll be living with you since your room is more than big enough for two, and as of ten minute ago you have two apprentices." The striped feline was walking over to Tol as she spoke and when he he stood she hugged him. He hugged back and smiled. "Well then let me show you to your new room and then we can go shopping for some more clothes for you, I have a nice stash of credits saved that I been meaning to use." Before Tol joined the Order he was a hunter and took care of many dangerous creatures. He was paid with metals and jewels that were almost worthless to those that paid him since they never left their planets, but on other planets they were very valuable. The Horansi siblings just called a cleaning droid and were about to go to Tol's room when they sensed Lo's message, though Tol was a little surprised that his sister heard it too. He sighed and glanced at Mira. "It figures that something like that would happen when we were just about to leave, wouldn't you agree." She nodded as they began to leave the temple and go to where they sensed the other Jedi. | #23 Jul 19th 2007, 3:01am

rimeraLo smiled as she sensed her master and Mira approach. When she turned around, she saw that Tol looked a little worn out, and could feel his fatigue. She couldn't hold back a laugh. /Training again, I see?/ she roared, having seen what Tol called "training". Lo was thankful that her training had not yet come to that extreme. She looked at Mira, who was looking much better now that she had rested. She hadn't gotten to know Mira very well yet, and Mira didn't usually understand her very well, but she determined to rectify that. Smiling, she communicated her feelings to her the best way she knew how... she embraced her in a giant Wookie bear hug. When she finally released her, she looked back at Tol. /Did the Council let you train her?/ she asked hopefully. | #24 Jul 19th 2007, 5:26am

Shadow B. PantherTol laughed a little at Mira's greeting and nodded his head as he and Mira approached. He stopped a moment to translate for Mira and translated the message. "You can say that, though it was a bit more than usual. Doubled my usual number and fought them all at the same time. Anyway as of a few minutes ago you have a new partner in you Jedi training.""Well I'm glad to be here, but to tell the truth anything is better than being a slave and receiving all those looks." She said. Tol wrapped one arm around her shoulder and gave her a small hug as he slowly began to catch his breath from his earlier training. "Anyway I'm going to be using that green saber Tol gave me until I can construct one on my own, though I'm a little interested in a double-blade." Tol then turned to Shaak Ti and shook his head at the state she was in. He walked over to her and hugged her, she was one of the few in his life that he really cared about. "I was surprised to hear you say that Master Ti, you were the one that taught me to be calm and observant, not to mention that if you acted like this when I was your student I would have never lived long enough to be a Knight. I'm guessing that you didn't slip a tracker on him like you did me, but then again with my fur being so valuable you had more reason to worry about me." He decided to remind her of the fact that she saved him a couple times before and he was in a similar situation at least once. "If he was taken not to long ago then you already have clues." He paused when received curious looks. "Someone had to have seen a some guys dragging someone with them and maybe called the authorities. They had to have landed somewhere close by if they got away so fast and you know the TCS would have been aware of any ships coming or going. The point is that we might be able to save him or get clues to where he is. Some of us should ask around and search while a couple of us split up from the group, one go to the TSC and another go to the nearest spaceport." | #28 Jul 19th 2007, 12:00pm

Senator Elizabeth OrganaElisabeth woke up a few hours later, sure that she felt the apprehension of a few of her fellow Jedi. Somebody must have be in trouble, she thought to herself. Not wanting to be alone or with that pirate, she decided to return to the Temple and help Tierva, Tol, and Lo in whatever they needed help with. It was better than sitting around and moping or preparing a statement for the Senate. The Senate was her life, but she needed a break for the moment. She put on her deep mahogany battle dress and put her hair up into two crescent shaped buns again. Lastly, Elisabeth put her small silver blaster into a holster on her hip and attached her lightsaber to her belt. Quitely, she left her flat and ran quickly to the Temple. | #33 Jul 19th 2007, 5:12pm . Edited Feb 23rd 2008, 10:56pm

rimera( I don't mean to post here, but I wanted everyone in this part to see. The_Shadow_Syndicate has a couple of possible Sith who are sneaking around right where we are. We're looking for Duo, who has been captured by Imperials. Now, I know these aren't the same Sith who took Duo, but our characters don't, and after we find out that they aren't the ones we're looking for, maybe, since they're possibly Sith, they could help us find out where the Imperials are hiding? Just a thought.Oh, and Elisabeth? Tol is a Knight, and Shaak Ti is a Master, but Lo and Mira are both apprentices.) Lo looked Senator Organa over. She was worried about her... Mon Mothma's death couldn't have been easy for her, and she knew from watching the holovids that the bill in the Senate had made it as far as it did only with her direct attention. She greatly respected the Senator, and hoped maybe to learn a few things about politics from her one day, after she finished her Jedi training of course. For now she was just honored to be in the presence of someone so important to the democracy they were all fighting for. | #35 Jul 19th 2007, 5:42pm

Shadow B. PantherToleen laughed a little and shook his head at the look on Logargh's face, sometimes she makes things harder than they need to be. He took out his datapad and typed in a message while pulling up a symbol on the screen, then handed it to her. "Just show this to anyone that works there and things should go quickly. It explains that there is an emergency and that their assistance is need. Lo you need to realize that being a Jedi has some advantages and there are easier ways to get things done." Now wasn't really the time fot a lesson, but he had to make sure she understood. "Usually there is a choice between doing something an easy way and a hard way. You have to know when to use the easy way and when not to, now just happens to be a time to use the easy way since we can't wast too much time."Tol then noticed Elisabeth and decided to explain. "Dou's been taken away and we don't know where, but Master Ti said that she sensed that he is already off the planet. We were just about to split up and search for clues before the trail gets cold." He then glanced at the other Jedi. "I know you have seniority Master Ti, but since Lo is going to the TCS and I'll go to the space port. The rest of you should be able to cover more ground here." rimera(I'm trying to help you out, Syndicate... Lo might have some extra time on her hands, why don't you show up after she leaves the TCS?)Lo walked out of the TCS building, shaking her head. Nothing! Those Imperials had been clever... they had left during a peak hour, in a normal civilian ship, as those were the only ones coming or going from the time Master Ti had said she sensed something wrong with Duo. There were thousands of ships to look up, and none of them looked suspicious. The woman she spoke to promised to check all of them out, but none of the ships had been reported stolen, and it would take hours before anything else would turn up, if it was there in the first place. However the Imperials did it, they either had a civilian ship already on Coruscant, or they had managed to fool the TCS surveillance systems. Either way, they were looking for a needle in a haystack. Lo sighed and turned left, in the direction of the spaceport. She would go help Tol. | #40 Jul 19th 2007, 6:28pm

rimeraLo's skin prickled beneath her fur. The men who were leaving seemed familiar to her, but what was more, she could sense the Dark Side around them. That was more than a coincidence. Resolutely, she started to follow the two. Knowing they would sense her if they were Sith, and that she could easily catch them if they weren't, she made no efforts to hide her pursuit. Perhaps if she spoke Basic she would have called for them to stop, but to humans like these men were, the sounds of "Excuse me, sirs, but could you hold on a moment?" in Shriiwook amounted to a large furry creature roaring at them. If they were going to run from her, it would not be because of something as simple as being frightened by an over-friendly Wookie.| #42 Jul 19th 2007, 7:00pm

rimera(um... can either of you speak the Wookie language, Shriiwook? Because if you can't, this is a big waste of time... lol!)Lo looked the two over. From what she could see (which still wasn't much), these two didn't act like Sith. Or perhaps they were acting like Sith, and she was desperately outmatched. Either way, they were standing there, waiting for a reply. /A friend of ours was kidnapped. We're looking for him. We think it was Imperials,/ she growled to them, wondering if one of them spoke her language. She was eyeing the double-bladed lightsaber with her one eye. /And you are not Jedi,/ she finished, deciding pleasantries would be a grand waste of time. If Duo was off-planet by now, every moment counted. | #44 Jul 19th 2007, 7:18pm

Shadow B. PantherToleen shrugged. "If you wish to join me than you may, but since we are not in any danger I will go ahead and see what I can find." He then glanced at the others and started running to the spaceport as fast as his two legs could carry him without the use of the Force, but despite that he was just a blur to most of the people walking around. Having to chase after his prey when he was hunting years earlier helped him greatly and having to chase some creatures in heavily wooded areas made it easier for him to avoid running into anyone, running in to a few trees a cub taught him to dodge. He could have just called an air taxi, but the spaceport was close and he could get their faster on foot before the taxi even arrived. He slid to a halt as he reached the massive building within minutes and knew it had to be the one Duo was taken in, it was the closest and there was little chance that two men could get to any other port even with transportation and be off the planet within minutes. He started searching around the busy building and smiled as he realized that the build was usually closed off from the outside areas, the smell caused by ships taking off and landing wasn't pleasant and the space port preferred to provide a relaxing environment. Tol started smelling the air and smiled "So they really were here." It didn't take to long for him to find Duo's scent and followed it to a door that led to the dock for ships. He stopped after the smell of ships' exhaust started to burn his nose. He then re-entered the building and started to look for someone that had information on the docks, the entire time he was rubbing his nose trying to regain his sense of smell. The spaceport kept records of the ships arrived or left and he narrowed it down to a dock that held fifteen ships, even if the name and owner were fake there was no hiding the ship's model. | #46 Jul 19th 2007, 7:27pm

rimera(Nice, Shadow B. Panther. I was hoping I hadn't made the search for Duo hopeless... but I didn't want it to be easy, either, and if I had found a clue, I couldn't talk to these two knuckleheads... hehe... just kidding, Syndicate...)Logargh tilted her head, mildly surprised that they could understand her. She had never actually spoken to a Sith before... these two didn't seem evil, but the feeling of the Dark Side around them kept her from being fooled. She grunted. /Would you two happen to know anything about the kidnapping?/ she asked, something telling her not to come right out and accuse these guys of being Sith. | #47 Jul 19th 2007, 7:34pm

rimera(Um... okay... whatever...)Logargh was stunned for a moment, then ran after the two seemingly crazed men to the nearest spaceport, where she also sensed her master's presence. /Tol, there's two men headed your direction... they might be Sith, or Dark Jedi, I'm not sure, but they're going to help us... I think.../ she sent along their mental bond, hoping he got the message in time. She ran into the dock and tried to keep an eye on the two strangers. | #49 Jul 19th 2007, 7:38pm

The Shadow Syndicate"Dude. We have our ship in this dock remembe?" asked Jack. Jason smacked his head and raced into a Corellian Corvette powering up the engines. An assasin droid tried to attack Jack but a stream of sith lightning fried it.| #50 Jul 19th 2007, 7:42pm
