Topic: Names for Pairings

You ever notice how in other fandoms, like Harry Potter, they have cute names for their pairings? Like, "Orange Crush" or "Gin 'n Tonic." Or even funny ones! (The Government Stole My Toad...lol.)

So if you have a pairing that needs a name, post here. It would be fun to name Canon pairings too, even if it is an Alternate Pairing Forum.

So far:

TomoexKiyosato - Completed Cross (?)

SanoxMegumi - Love to Hate (You)

Alternate

MegumixAoshi - Fire and Ice

SaitouxMisao - Wolf and Weasle

AoshixKaoru - Calm Hysteria

Megumi/Kenshin - Repenting Souls

Where should we start? I'll just start by listing the pairings, I guess.

Canon:

Kenshin x Kaoru

Aoshi x Misao

Sano x Megumi

Yahiko x Tsubame

Shishio x Yumi

Kenshin x Tomoe

Tomoe x Akira

Alternate:

Aoshi x Kaoru

Soujirou x Misao

Soujirou x Kaoru

Enishi x Kaoru

Sano x Kaoru

Aoshi x Megumi

Hm...that's all I can think of at the moment. I have absolutely NO IDEA where to start. Ideas, anyone?

And yeah, it's amazingly long.

I think Aoshi x Megumi kinda sorta already has a name, which is "Fire and Ice." I don't get why Megumi is fire, but go figure.

I thought of a coolish name for Aoshi x Kaoru that I used for my website: "Calm Hysteria." (I also slightly stole it from my best friend's pen name, but she never uses it!)

Well, this isn't on the list, but SaitouxMisao lends itself well to "Wolf and Weasel". After all, he makes up the nickname in the first place.

And SanoxMegumi is definitely "Love to Hate You" (that's the title of a Cyndi Lauper song, but it's so perfect, ne?).

How about "Completed Cross" for Tomoe and Kiyosato??? Makes sense, right?

And who can think of one for the largest pairing in the fandom, KenshinxKaoru??

Maybe something having to do with Fireflies? That is a favorite KK scene, is it not?

Of course, we could always make the name "They're so...them." Lol.

Honey, there are as many alternate pairings as there are authors to come up with them... I've seen crazy things you wouldn't believe... KenshinXShishio... KenshinXKamatari... SoujirouXOkita...KaoruXMisao...ChouXSano...YumiXSoujirou...

I've actually written a couple of those^^ lol

Actually, I noticed in the "Degrassi" fandom (don't ask me why I was there... I know I'm too old for that show ^_^), they smoosh the characters' names together to form a name for the pairing, like PaigeXEllie=Pellie.

Hmm...pairing names. They can be fun, but they can also be confusing... I have one for KxT, though, that I like. "Bloodied Iris", perhaps?

KxK... That one's tough. "Wandering Firefly"? I kind of like it. I dunno; I'll try to come up with something better later.

I came up with a couple. I don't know if they fit, but here they are:

-Innocent Hearts

-Water and Wind

-Fierce Innocence

-Lonely Hearts

-Eternally Bonded

There are the ones I thought of. Not so sure if Water and Wind fits, but somehow it popped into my mind. Just to clarify, these are for KenKao.
