Topic: Which non-romance pairings do you like?

This is kind of a weird question, because well, what the hell is a non-romance pairing?

I just mean what characters do you like to see interacting in any way that is non-romantic? I know a lot of people, including me, are very intriguied by Kenshin/Hiko fics (again, I'm not talking love here!!)

I also really like Sano/Kenshin and Sano/Kaoru. It's interesting to throw really creative stuff out there, too, like Soujiro/Yahiko, Soujiro/Megumi...I like seeing Saitou interact with Sano, especially if they have to work together at some point.

Also, for Naruku, I love having her interact with Sano, Saitou, Yahiko and Hiko. I sometimes have a tough time getting her to react to Misao and Kaoru, but Megumi can sometimes be very fun, because Megumi has sort of deemed herself the "care-taker" of Kenshin's heart in the series. Like when she berates Kaoru at the end of the Kyoto arc, that's sort of what I mean. Which reminds me, I love to see a good Kaoru/Megumi fic.

One thing that's really strange for me is I like Misao/Aoshi a LOT, but not so much as a pairing. I think in Sundial, by Angrybee, the last scene is of them sharing a moment as friends, and I really like that. (I might be thinking of a different fic...I know, getting a great fic like Sundial mixed up with something? Well, I've read a lot of fics and it's hard to keep them all straight...)

I would like to see Kaoru and Soujiro interact. I kind of have a story like that on my computer where Soujiro is like a brother to her. I could see them getting along like that. Kaoru and Megumi are also good. I like the interaction between Saitou/Kenshin/and Sano.

I also really liked how Soujiro and Yumi acted with one another.

Yes! I'd love to see Kaoru and Soujiro interact with each other! lol, I can see it now, really...both Kenshin and Soujiro going "Oro?" and "Ara?" then respecfully getting thwacked by Kaoru, haha. Cute.

I also like seeing Aoshi and Misao interact as freinds or siblings..because I don't know..they never seemed to have (or will) any "romance" happening and I honestly cannot see them getting together *shrug* Soujiro/Megumi is a nice one as well...just another poor rurouni for her to fight (insert female name here) with over! "Ohoho!"

Kenshin/Soujiro interacting is nice as well, after Soujiro goes on his little journey of discovery.

I'm feeling unusually happy today O_o; possibly because I got 134 hits on my Soujiro/Misao shrine in less than 4 days! *Is awed*

I agree with anithene - Aoshi Misao friend pairings are quite nice, and when working with Aoshi Kaoru, it's a perfect solution so that Misao doesn't seem like a spoiled child or terribly upset girl.

I adore Sano Kaoru or Enishi Kaoru friendly pairings as well!

(I'm sorry, I'm watching Veer Zaara right now, so I'm a bit distracted...)

I'd like to see the interaction between Enishi and Kaoru and Kenshin. It would be very interesting. I'd also like to know about the relationships between the members of the Juppongatana; like, Kamatari and Shishio, Soujirou and Yumi, etc.

I think non-romantic pairings really help a reader get to know a character better. I personallly would like to see more interactiong between Sanosuke and Yumi. I dunno, but they were very fun together, almost like a brother and sister that didn't like each other.

It would be interesting to see Enishi and Megumi interact some...their personalities seem to contrast and compliment at once. That could be a fascinating study in character developement.

I would not mind seeing Yahiko and Kaoru fiction. They are student and sensei.
