So much subtext...so much...It's definitely an opposites attract thing...Fai can so easily rile Kurogane up, but at the same time I believe there's a level of trust there.

In my opinion, our little group of four is split into two groups inside the main group: Syaoran and Sakura, and Kurogane and Fai. Syaoran and Sakura are always together, and most of the time Kurogane and Fai end up around each other. It's hard to explain /why/ I like the pairing so much...it just...works...in it's own weird way.

So far, it's mainly the usual subliminal hints that CLAMP are so good at, but who knows...Touya and Yuki got a vaguely canon-esq ending in Cardcaptor Sakura...and I didn't see nearly as many hints to them at first as I see between Kurogane and Fai...

...Plus...the Outo arc. Hands down. So much hinting. I really can't wait until the whole thing revolving around Fai and Ashura-ou comes out...Not only am I curious, I also want to see how our dear Kuro-chi will react.

...And there's another thing. The nicknames. Seriously, if Kurogane /really/ wanted to kill Fai because of the silly things he does, and the nicknames he gives him...he would've killed him around. I mean, Kurogane was the strongest ninja in Nihon...surely he'd be able to kill one little non-magic-using mage...but he doesn't. He really doesn't seem to want to kill Fai at all...or maybe he just can't bring himself to?

They are just so opposite, but so similar! They are both hiding loads as well as hiding their true natures (Kuro hides his kindness, Fay hides his angst). I just love Clamp's pairings, and they just SCREAM Clamp pairing (plus, they are likely to have a better ending than my fav shounenai Clamp pairing which happens to be Seishirou and Subaru!).

I love both the characters seperatly too. Fay has me really intrigued about his mysterious past. Kurogane has had bucketloads of character development and loads revealed about his past. Again, very opposite! But very Yin Yang too! Fay, the seemingly open and forthright one, has revealed nothing and had zero development but Kurogane, the dark, brooding and private one, has developed loads and revealed (intentionally or not) loads.

Okay, getting off subject and starting to babble!

Plus they are reffered as mommy and daddy! ahahahaha!

i don't actually think that fai and ashura-ou had a sexual relationship; it wouldn't really fit with the story, much less the fact that clamp rarely makes any shonen-ai couple canon...

touya and yuki are the only exception, actually =.=

and plus; if you've ever read rg veda... it just seems so... unlikely, i guess... there is such a history to Ashura-ou that i don't think CLAMP would just ignore; they haven't ignored large aspects of other characters, regardless of whether they are in an alternate universe, or not.

haha, personally i love kurogane and fai... they have such amazing interactions; the best i've ever seen in any story.

There ARE plenty of hints for them, but that doesn't necessarily mean that something will happen.. considering CLAMP's history with this kind of thing: remeber kamui and fuuma from x?

regardless... even if they do become canon, one is likely to die anyway -.-

again... it's CLAMP... in most of their mangas it's like a killspree...

at first i saw it as one-sided on Fai's part, all the flirting and teasing...but at some point, esp after chap 124, Kurogane started feeling something too, as reflected in the bargain made with Yuuko.

and don't forget the conversation in chap 130 with Yuuko. It's as good as an outright confession.

this pairing rocks big time! like what was said, syaosaku are kind of dull characters. but our ninja and mage have plenty of flavour and colour all right. :) and we can be sure to see a lot more development.

the nicknames! i love their interaction, love it when fair riles kurogane up and he's all "ARRGH SMASH!" but he never really hurts fai. it's like a fun kid's game. *_* so cute~~

there's also the fact that kurogane notices lots of the things fai wants to keep. that's interest right there, if he didn't care why would he pry? i absolutely love fai's response, too. in the last chapters he outright says he doesn't want to "get closer" to kurogane because then he's probably going to cross the point of no return.

and of course, they're called "fye-mommy" and "kuro-daddy!!" OMG can clamp be more obvious?

Sakura and Syaoran are meant to be together (anyone who's ever watched Card Captor Sakura could see it) Mokona's a meat bun, although a potentially very kinky meat bun, Yuuko is just too cool to be tied down to a pairing, Tomoyo is the only person who I'd think would be kind of OK with Kurogane, but she's more of a fangirl of the pair like the rest of us, and she'd be too cooped up with her sewing pretty clothes for her favorite girls. Kurogane plus dressies doesn't equal a very pretty picture xD

Anyway, its cute, adorable, hot... um... running out of adjectives... but its just the only one out of the whole series I've ever completely liked and I've liked it since the beginning. *POOF* they showed up in a pair of dimensional vortex thingies and I instantly went "Oh yes! OTP!" Plus, its very obvious. There will be MANY squealing fangirls if CLAMP do put them together in the end.

Also very sad Kurogane and Fai fans who want their charries to marry them. :D but oh well.

They make eachother stronger.

Fai is breaking down the flames that Kurogane put up, and realising that he's a really really nice guy deep down, and Kuro is melting the ice around Fai's heart, and he's being more onest, more himself.

Basically, their saving eachother, from themselves. Fai's lying, Kuro's killing, and both helped eacother solve those problems.

Plus, they're both absolutely gorgeous. ;P It makes them the best couple Ive seen in a LONG while, plus, the first yaoi couple Ive ever been into. :)

I love the way their love is so OBVIOUSLY there, yet at the same time, not. :D They're hot and cute and sweet.

-laughs- Because their relationship is so very... indescribably lovely and sad (although not as sad with the more recent chapters) and beautiful and just... no words can describe how wonderful those two are when they're together. Come on, this pairing converted me from a homophobe to someone who ships KuroFai like there's no tomorrow. It's amazing.

Hmm…I like them because…My friend brainwashed me liking for them! She talked so much about Kurogane and Fai that and that, etc. Then I finally though I’ll look if they’re so good couple like she had said! Well…Being a really critic person what comes for manga and analyzing, I realized, after I’d read it part volumes they make a great pair! Not just that they’re opposites, which make their relationship more than juicy, that their past is so melancholy and dramatic, they sort of “crashed” into each others. Beside, when I saw Kurogane’s and Fai’s looks against each others (and trust me! They chare those LOT OF.) I was like; if that isn’t flirting and growing crush with other then what’s?

Also, I love Fai’s random acting Kurogane. 3 They just started act like real married couple, don’t you think? Since Kurogane always blows his top when Fai calls him all names and how shocked he was when he called him just Kurogane! His look was major and I was ready to hit Fai, for being so cruel to Kurogane who had accepted him, no matter what. Since he always kept telling him (between lines) it didn’t matter what he was. He just saw right to behind that false mask of him and found true him. And he understood he must have got badly hurt in pass, so that why he tolerated his random acting. Ahh!! And also, when Fai cried out Kurogane it was so sweet and how he showed his actions he cares him.

Ah and that opposite thing…They say opposites makes each others one, right? Well, I think that’s true what I’ve watched about people. But I’d to admire, if Kurogane and Fai hadn’t so traumatic past, they probably wouldn’t get so well along, since if they hadn’t it they couldn’t understand each others. I mean, if Kurogane had lived happy and all, would he saw behind Fai’s face smile? Or if Fai had lived happy would he search someone who would accept him like he is? Plus, Kurogane is always saving our “ladylike” Fai. xD Which is sweet and shows he care him. Beside, he always threatens him if he even dares to think about giving him life! If it’s not him, which means he couldn’t kill him. Also, not forgot that Fai is always “kicking” Kurogane to move his butt if he would start angst and, Fai is like only one who gets him does something! Since like an example in Outo (which was hilarious) he got Kurogane do all things, without getting nasty response; hell, do it yourself!

So, I like them undying passion and most important thing! They had been growing for love each others. Which means it wasn’t all “love at first sight” –thing or they both were community which “pressured” them be in pair. ^^

Well . . . putting it simply . . . THEY'RE SO DANG CUTE!!! Kurogane is the daddy and Fai is the mommy, so true. Frankly I kinda get all spitty and weird when there's a Fai/Sakura moment cuz frankly I ship the standard (SxS, FxK). I always thought it was SxS as the most popular ship and I shipped Kuro-Fai as an afterthought because I'm a pervert and there's like sooo many signs. I still do, I never ship slash over straightness, except for this one period this summer were I was a freak. Sirius/Remus is sooo happening people! I officially shipped a straight ship, but lime is 10x hotter than your average ship.

Therefore my perviness. ;D Fai and Kurogane have that whole Yin Yang thing going on too, I don't know if someone mentioned before me, I think so but its so true. Cuz Fai is so sweet and cute (in the beginning, I miss his smile. I miss it sooo bad, cuz it was such a standard expression for him and now its GONE!!!) and Kurogane hates to be considered anything but cute, but that just makes him cuter with his all of his swords and battleaxes :P

^ most of them are just silly nonsense. I guess the few that aren't are kuro-wanko and kuro-wanwan referencing to dogs and what they say, and the loveable kuro-sama XD.

Why do I like Kurofai? Hnn, I liked them way before I figured out the ying/yang thing. I think they just compliment each other well (: and so on~

I'm not entirely sure which, but I know some of Fai's nicknames for Kurogane (such as Kuro-rin) are endearing ways of referring to a school girl.

The weird part about the nicknames (Kuro-woof is the best) is that Fai was using them to distance himself from the group. but in the end it brought them closer together. and whether Kurogane likes it or not, he actually likes the nicknames. remember in acid tokyo when Fai woke up and Kurogane was worried. as soon as Fai said 'good morning, kurogane' a look of pure sorrow, confusion and anger filled his face. despite it all Kurogane cherished that bond they hand. and as oon as Fai woke up, he knew it was torn away!

I think it's because they are that ideal shonen ai/yaoi pairing. They're can be everything, e.g. cute, full-on, they have issues they work out together. They both care for each other... Hmm... Am I imagining things? Haha. Oh well... It's weird to explain why I like them. But... Imagine being FAI! Haha.
