I agree. Mary sues are interesting to me. They have a wider span of writing material which can inspire multiple outcomes that are usually more exciting because of the extrafigence of the story.

People shouldn't discourage mary sues. We're all fans here and if we want characters that are different than most on here I think that's perfectly fine.

A Mary Sue is that horribly annoying original character who's more special than every other canon character, can do anything at all, cannot die, is loved by everyone, and generally the type you want to beat into a mushy pulp.

Original characters are characters not used in the original canon, who can be interesting sons of bitches.
