Topic: parent names

ok i was thinkin about doing a fan fic including Aerrows mum and dad and i need some name suggestions i was going to call the dad Bowan as in bow and arrow but i have no ideas for a mothers name help please

I had a theory since the start of the show, with Aerrow's whole Red Hair and Lightning element references that his dad would be named Thor, or something. Mainly because, Thor is a red-haired and bearded god of thunder in Norse Myth (Despite the fact that popular art depicts him as clean shaven and blond).

Kinda a legnthy reference, but, heh, I like old mythology stuff. ^^;

Thor's wife was named Sif. A strange name, yeah, so its not really a good reference. But Thor had a mistress named Jarnsaxa...ok so that one is also weird. Can't blame a girl for trying. :D

You've probably already decided on names, but I'm gonna post anyway in case someone else needs ideas.

Just name them after birds, like almost everyone else in the show(Stork, Starling, Snipe, Junko, Harrier, Wren, Dove, etc). In my story I named Aerrow's dad Peregrine. But as for his mother, hmmm... How about Seychelle? It's the name of a kind of kestrel.

Theres a series of islands in the indian ocean called Seychelles, so we could use islands. Here are my guesses of islands as names:

-Hawaii (obvious)

-Tonga (pacific ocean)

-Maldives (interesting name for a person)

-Japan (way too obvious)

-Tasmania (and its not in africa, you know)

-Madagascar (sounds like a really tough Snipe like person)

-Berkner (near antarctica)

Or for birds

-Flamingola

-Penguino (lol)

-Cardinal (the only one that makes anysense to me)

How about Alex as Aerrow's dad and Sereme as his mom. I always used those in my stories.

I'm into old mythology too. Freiyda is considerably less weird name. I'm pretty sure she was the goddess of love.

I don't think "Last Names" exsist on Atmos. ^^;

They all seem to be on a First Name only basis.

But there's no reason to name Aerrow's dad Lightening Strike in your fics if you don't want to, just because its canon doens't mean you have to follow it

I wonder what his parents/the writers were smoking when they throught up that name

No of course there isn't.

But if you felt the need to have it in your story then you can easily have it that he hated his name and give him a cool nickname that his friends would call him. :)

i agree though, lightning strike is such an odd name. It's almost like they wanted to connect him to the STORM part of the storm hawks

Maybe. But if Aerrow's dad is Lightning Stike, that, I think, would make Aerrow's full name Aerrow Strike. And that name sounds awesome.
