I haven't ever seen High School Musical. What's that about? I haven't really noticed any snobby girls in the trilogy, even though Babs and Betty ae maybe a little snobbish - with the way they were looking at George.

High School Musical is a really sucky Disney movie with unpleasentries involving Corbin Bleu, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, and Zac Efron. It's basically where Sharpay (Tisdale) tries to stop Gabriella (Hudgens) from joining the drama club and getting a lead roll in a play. Troy (Efron) also wants to be in it. Almost all of the music sucks. I would advise you to never, EVER watch it.

That's why, in one of my stories, Klaus, Marty, and the rest of the BTTF people do parodies of the songs.

Oh, yeah, it's corny, all right! I actually threw it away because it sucked so much.

maybe you can do some spoof where the high musical kids see the movie so many times they start to imitate the characters or something
#8 Oct 11th 2007, 3:18pm
Phish Tacko
Great idea! I'll start writing it!

You guys should read it. It's where Marty and Jennifer take a trip to 1968, and so do Marty Jr and Harmony.
#20 Oct 11th 2007, 4:02pm
avp60685
i read part of the one where they go to the 70s
#21 Oct 11th 2007, 4:05pm
bttf4444
Oh, okay! What did you think of the interaction between the three Martys - and Marty '05 reprising his Calvin Klein persona?
#22 Oct 11th 2007, 4:11pm
avp60685
a bit confusing at first but then it got easier to understand
#23 Oct 12th 2007, 6:19am
bttf4444
In the Trilogy Universe, the time machine gets used for the very last time in 2005 in That '70s Story - until Marty Jr and Harmony get their hands on it again in 2016 in Like Father Like Son. Haven's trip to 1997 from 2006 in The Prized Time Capsule doesn't count, as they're using the DeLorean time machine from 1986.
#24 Oct 12th 2007, 10:35am
avp60685
but what happend to the train like time machine that doc had built at the end of the third movie?
#25 Oct 12th 2007, 10:48am
bttf4444
I had Doc dismantle it. For family trips, they use a station wagon time machine. I have to admit I was never too fond of the train, and it's be too awkward to keep in the 1980s. Plus, you'd need railroad tracks - which would be inconvenient. I generally have them depart and arrive from a time period at Hill Valley Park.
#26 Oct 12th 2007, 10:57am
avp60685
that makes sense! i was wondering why i saw the station wagon instead of the train so that clears it up. Is the dog alive in every story or does he ever get killed
#27 Oct 12th 2007, 11:30am
bttf4444
Yeah, Einstein is still alive. I tend to forget about Einstein, probably because I don't own any pets myself. One of these days, I might go through my old stories and try to fit Einstein in there somehow. Marty is my favourite chaacter, so most of my stories centre around him. It's actually only recent that I've started involving Jules and Verne in my stories more.
#28 Oct 12th 2007, 12:08pm
avp60685
oh that makes sense! how about i help you write one where einstein has the dog who played lassie or toto fall in love with him and they end up with an alternate reality.

marty is my favorite too!

#29 Oct 12th 2007, 1:50pm
bttf4444
That's a good idea. I did write a story a long time ago called A Dog's Life, which covers Einsteins perspective of 1985A. I don't really consider that a part of my regular fanfic canon. I wrote a more serious story, though, called Alternate 1985: Jennifer's Side.

oh ok! it sounds like we are bouncing off ideas each other! that's a good thing right?

Well, we didn't mean to. I can't speak for avp60685, but I don't know anything about High School Musical - so I couldn't really say anything about it.

Sorry, but I'm just so excited about activity night! We also had a field trip today. My feet got wet.

It's ok. My friend and I got so hyper that we started throwing out water bottles at each other.

Well, I hope you have fun. Right now, it's only you, avp60685, and myself - so I figured it was okay to not be so formal. If this group ever expands, though - then we may have to change some of our posting habits. I'll also have to turn off topic alerts.

Oh, I had fun, all right. Me and my friend threw water bottles at each other when we got hyper.

that sounds like a good idea

here is an interesting high school musical story

where the characters are having a halloween party and one of the guys shows up as marty mcfly and a few people after the party think he is really marty and start stalking or something

thanks

I have an even better idea, if you wish to go supernatural. This idea is inspired by Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode, Halloween. People purchase their costumes from a store, and they become what they are dressed up as. Maybe one dresses up as Marty McFly, while another dresses up as Alex P Keaton - and the two eventually become the characters.

Meh. *blushes*.

Activity night was uber fun. It was on the same day as the class field trip. My feet got super wet. Me and my friend got so hyper that we threw water bottles at each other. It was fun.

I see! It sounds like you had great fun! Say, did you ever read Dreams Can Come True? That's a story where Amanda Martini runs away from her oppressive foster home, and ends up in the BTTF Universe. :)
