Topic: Find that fic!

I created this topic because I'm looking for a story but other people can use it too, to find stories that they are looking for.

The story I'm looking for was called The Meiji Journal. I read it about a year ago. But now I can't find it. I've used the search engine but it came up with nothing. If anyone can help me that'd be great.

Sorry, can't help you with that story... I am looking for two stories myself.

One is a fic with Kaoru and Enishi, in which Kaoru is a teacher visiting her brother Sano on a Chinese island and somehow ends up posing as Enishi's fiancée. They bicker all the time, but are attracted to each other. Megumi is Enishi's sister. I had it on my favourite list but somehow it just vanished. Does anyone know what happened to that fic?

Another fic I'm looking for is a K/K story. It's pretty unusual, with Kenshin being a great lord in a city that has magic everywhere. Kaoru stumbles upon a garden and somehow the whole building seems to react to her magically. Kenshin claims to have a deep magical bond with her, and while trying capture her buildings start swallowing Kaoru into the floor, doors sudenly appear and Kaoru gets licked by puppies in her dream. It's really weird, I know, but I loved it. Does anyone know where to find this fic?

Soryy Mini Mi, i've never read either of those stories...maybe someone else can help.

I posted this in the other section, but this seems like a better place for it. Sky Dweller by LadyShiin was one of my favorite fics, then she took it down!! Does anybody know if she posted it somewhere else/completed it? If she did, I would love to know!

Also, there is story I read a long time ago, so I'm not sure if it's been taken down or what have you, but it starts of with Aoshi on some sort of a road trip, and Misao hides in his car at a gas station. The only other deatil I can remember is Aoshi goes out with some of his friends to 'Club Cartoon,' if memory serves.

I know the last one I think (Mini Mi). Its called Slumbering City. It hasn't been completed though, only has 9 chapters but it really is a great story.^^

Hi, I'm looking for a story I read years ago. The pairing is Kenshin/Kaoru with Tomoe as Kenshin's sister.

It starts out with Kaoru getting lost going to class on campus in winter and accidentally tripping and dropping her books. While a few meters away, Kenshin sees her fall and decides to go help her. After helping, Kenshin decides to show Kaoru to her class and calls out to Tomoe to tell her where he is going. Later Kenshin and Kaoru become a couple but Kenshin has to leave to go to school in another country. So Kaoru and Tomoe are at the airport seeing Kenshin off and Kenshin promise Kaoru that he'll come back to her.

I'm back... and I'm looking for a story I thought was called "Three Sisters" but I can't find it anywhere. The plot is that Misao, Megumi, and Kaoru are all sisters, and they are all supposed to get married, so it ends up being KK AM and SM, but Saitou and Tokio are in it, and I think Kenshin becomes a police officer at the end. I read it several years ago, so it may have been taken down, but if anyone knows, please tell me!

Sorry to Flopples... I haven't read that one. Hopefuly someone else has though. ^_^

i'm looking for a fic that i read a long time ago. i don't remember much about it but it had some elements of flame of recca in it. kaoru was the keeper of the madougu and something happens, so she ends up giving some of them to the kenshin-gumi. if anyone can tell me what fic this is i'll be eternally grateful

I am also looking for the fic Sky Dweller and also to one that Kaoru and Aoshi were twins and he was helping her with some sort of break up with Kenshin or something. I remember that it was said that she moved in with Aoshi after one of his break ups. Can you please please help me with these fics?

i was wondering if anyone had read a yugi-oh, kenshin crossover that had kenshin with a millenium item. he is somehow (i can't remember how!!) transported to our time and yugi helps him out. it was really cool, the concept was that the battosai was the "other" personality in kenshin like the pharoah and yugi, and i just can't seem to find it! it's been so long now i can't even remember if it was finished or not!

My request is to know the title or author of a fic where Kaoru has to comfort a very upset Kenshin after his last keepsake of Tomoe (her old comb) breaks. It was a very sad and sweet story of two chapters.

... This is my fourth post on this thread, and I'm not helping anyone find what they are looking for... I feel bad, but since I know none of the fics mentioned, I guess I wouldn't really be much help.

Again: I am looking for a fic! This one was on my favorites list for a long time, and I can't believe I would have taken it off, but it is very much gone. It's a Sano/Megumi fic; Megumi is a medical student at Tokyo University (If I recall correctly, the author scattered a great deal of medical fact throughout the story), and Sano lives next door to her apartment. When they first meet, they call each other by their apartment numbers, which, if I remember, are 2A and 2B, or something of the sort. Sano rides a motorcycle that he named after his first love, and tries to teach Megumi to ride it. Kanryu is killed in the middle of the story, Saito is the detective in charge of finding his killer, and sources point to Sano.

I could rattle off many more details, but that's probably more than anyone needs. Thanks!

For a long time I've been searching for a story I read quite a while back. In it, Kaoru is a nurse who was injured in (Beirut? I think...) and now has a job supervising an elderly relative of Kenshin's, who owns a vineyard. Kenshin hates Kaoru because of a hit and run accident Enishi framed her for years ago. I really hope this story hasn't been deleted. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
