The Local OutcastTopic: Okami... on the Wii!!! Recent reports have confirmed that Okami WILL get onto the Wii. Please note that this still the original game and not a new game. Ready at Dawn has volunteered to help get Okami onto the Wii. The Wii version will not be availible until Spring 2008.Source of info: http://www.readyatdawn.com/news.php?offset=0&news_toc=0&pr_toc=0 I personally, am highly stoked about this. Okami is the perfect game for the Wii and DS. |

Brent-KaI'm not entirely too sure about the whole thing. For one, Clover mentioned that the game just isn't suited for the Wii, when asked about a port. I sort of agree. The Wii's biggest audience is casual gamers, and Okami is anything but. I just wonder if they can adapt the control scheme correctly. The second problem is the brushwork itself. Sounds good in theory, but if they get sloppy with porting the controls, then moving your wiimote around like crazy's gonna annoying very fast. Bah, I'm a pessimist. ^_^; Woo-hoo! More people will finally play the game! Edit- Holy cats above, can you imagine the Wii version of the Ninetails battle? Instant carpal tunnel syndrome AND crazy go nuts fun! | #2 Oct 28th 2007, 8:58pm . Edited Oct 28th 2007, 9:01pm

KoeigirlWhao, I'm eager to get my hands working on drawing in the game! I'm Chinese sudent, so I guess using Ammy's brush in the game would be identical to painting in class. ^_^ I hope the Wii version would be good enough to get Clover back on foot...If not, then I'll haunt them until they do! (Muhahahaha kidding.) |

ElieareOkami on the Wii, that is definently something I'm gonna get, but knowing me I'm gonna get too into it and break my wrist or something {^_^}. That would be fun though, to say that the only bone I ever broke was while playing Okami, on second thought I can go through life just fine without the broken bone experience, my body is against me enough all ready >grumble<. But anyways, YAY OKAMI! YAY WII!| #5 Dec 02nd 2007, 12:26am

LisavieraHmmm... I think it would do well on the DS. Make use of the touch screen. Vieraheart might have had an easier time with it. She has bad coordination. |
