Honoo snorted. Hideaki seemed to ignore the pokes, looking studiously at the ground.

"Strange, it's normally the other way around. And obviously Emi wasn't taking good care of him if he was crying." He said, pulling Hideaki's head up by his hair so his face could be seen. He was rather red around the eyes.

Emi seemed to soften.

"He was crying...? Hands off him now, Honoo, or I will hurt you." She threatened.

Naomi had stopped her poking around with a whack on Honoo's back, she then flipped away and crouched beside Emi, "hehe, I feel more relaxed now... can I? you said you'd hurt him soo? can I do it?" Naomi said as she put her hands close together in such a way that only her and Emi would see that she was ready to make a handsign to ignite a paperbomb while Naomi still smiled happily... for some odd reason...

Emi quickly shook her head.

"No need, no need, honey...I don't want that going off with Hideaki so close..." Her whisper was just a little too loud, and Honoo chuckled again.

"That's right, don't want to hurt your paper doll of a husband. Poor Hideaki...so fragile, aren't you? That rude girl a friend of yours?" He asked, drawing a kunai and pressing it against Hideaki's cheek. Emi froze in place, and Hideaki attempted to jerk away, but Honoo pressed lightly anyway, almost immediately drawing blood. He looked toward Naomi with a mocking shrug. "All I did was press a little bit. Strange, huh? Hit me again and I will cut deep."

Emi scowled deeply, and gave Naomi the okay to hurt Honoo.

Naomi made the sign, making the paperbomb explode, it wasn't big but big enough to hurt and as the smoke cleared several clones were around Honoo, one held a kunai at his throat, another had a kunai placed pointing up into his gut, and the third held Hideaki over on the side as Honoo was left with a simple ball the size of somebodys head in his hand, "hehe, one of my feather clone bombs..." Naomi grinned as she saw how well it turned out...

morik is now laying in a field wondering where on this planet mejika could be

Honoo glared, and Emi looked quite impressed.

"Let me go right now, or Hideaki will suffer for it." He threatened. He was a main family member, and could activate Hideaki's curse seal.

Emi's eyes widened.

"Quick, let him go!" She instructed.

Shinyu glared and watched.

The clones dispersed into hundreds of feathers that floated around and stuck to Honoo, "can't do that, sorry Emi... but i'm trying something new..." Naomi said as she made some quick handsigns, "can't make a handsign if you can't move, feather trap jutsu..." she shouted as the feathers glowed and blades of chakra formed in between them all forming a kind of cage around Honoo, "there... he shouldn't be able to hurt the jerk now..." Naomi said proudly as the third clone dragged Hideaki over to where Emi and Naomi were...

Shinyu looked in surpised.

Emi responded by sending electricity flying in Honoo's direction, knocking him down in a limp heap rather brutally.

"He only needs to move on hand..." She said, as she guided Hideaki to the porch, hugging him tightly. He still looked rather embarassed. She sat him down, immediately tending to the cut on his cheek.

"All right, hold still..." She said, searing the wound shut with one hand, and giving him a hand to hang onto. Hideaki clenched his teeth and attempted to remain still until she was finished.

Shinyu looked down,"You alright?"She asked and got up and walked over to Honoo,"Hurt any of my friends badly, you won't be seeing another day again.."

Honoo chuckled from his place on the ground.

"Anything happens to me and Hideaki will be blamed. And I could kill him with the slightest movement...so you should watch what you say, or the freak will get it." He responded, as Hideaki bristled. He was not a freak...technically.

"Can we sleep now?" I asked yawning

A low growl rumbled from her,"He's not a freak.... IF anyone is a freak, it's ME!" Shinyu said fiercely

Diva looked at him and yawned herself,"Mizuki,Get in the hut. We need to get to sleep..."

Mizuki quietly got up and went in the hut and fell asleep.

"Come here beautiful." I said motioning her over

Honoo rolled his eyes.

"You can both be freaks, relax...it's funny how you so willingly defend a murderer...must be your demon side." Honoo said, smirking.

Hideaki simply shut his eyes. He was attempting to ignore Honoo. Emi scowled, and hugged Hideaki tightly.

"He is not!"

She kneeled down to Honoo,"Listen,I'm only going to say this ONE more time.....HE'S not a freak OR a murderer...."She said with anger in her voice.

Diva walked over to him,smiling sweetly,"Hmmmm..."She said laying down

I put my arm around her and said"I love you."

"He murdered his parents; he had the murder weapon in his hands when they found him. Don't speak as if you know everything." Honoo replied, beginning to sit up. The movement had come back.

"Shut up, Honoo!!" Emi yelled at him. She seemed to be trying to shelter Hideaki from the accusations, or from remembering.

"Hey, Honoo. I think I was in that situasion once whe i was 10.... DON'T bring back memories! NOW LEAVE!!"She yelled.

"Love you too."Diva said.

"Are you tired?" I asked

"Relax, relax, I'm leaving. Seems you two make better friends than I thought..." Honoo said with a dark laugh, leaving.

Emi looked over at Shinyu.

"Thank you for getting rid of him..." Emi said gratefully.

"Your welcome.."She walked over to Hideaki,"You okay?" Shinyu said softly.

"Not really, why?"Diva asked kissing him.

I kissed her back smiling

"fine let him leave... i'm satisfied with my job..." Naomi said as right on Honoo's back was a 'kick me' sign, "hehe... is Hideaki okay?" she asked with a slight tilt of her head...

Shinyu laughed.

"What are you Smiling about?"she asked

"Beacuse I'm with you." I said

Diva giggled,"Your too sweet.."She said kissing him.

Emi looked at Hideaki, pushing his head up by chin to look him in the eyes.

"Did he do anything to you?"

Hideaki shook his head, and ducked his head again, his hair making a curtain to hide any expression on his face. For the moment, he couldn't maintain his stone face.

Emi stroked his head.

"It's okay..." She had mirth in her eyes at the kick me sign though..."We got him back." She said with a grin.

Shinyu laughed at the "kivk me" sign,"Hideaki, You dont have to be tough all the time.."She said

"Yes...I do." Hideaki replied, as he attempted to work on rewrapping bandages that were unraveled all over the place, giving him the appearance of a mummy falling apart.

Emi sighed and helped him.

"If you want to cry no one will laugh, you know." Emi said, cupping the side of his face with her hand. Hideaki pulled away.

"I don't want to..." He replied quietly.

morik tries to mentally contact mejika but throws that away because he is just rubbing his index fingers against his temples and scrunches up his eyes and nose

"No you don't....."She said softly.

"You need to cry; it's healthy, Hideaki..." Emi said, rubbing his back gently. "No one will laugh, come on..."

That's when she realized tears were already silently dripping from Hideaki's face. He wasn't the type to cry loudly. She hugged him tightly, still rubbing his back.

"It's all right...it's gonna be fine..." She said, being comforting. She sent Shinyu a 'thank you' look.

Shinyu smiled and went inside to see how Jojo was doing...

Jojo had somehow crawled out of the crib Hideaki had placed him in, and was now sitting on the floor in only his diaper, his clothes spread on the floor.

"Hi kitty!"

"Hey! How'd you get outta your crib?"She said picking him up.

Jojo giggled, as if it were some great secret. He looked at her with an intelligence beyond his 13 months of living.

"Kitty? Food?"

"You want some food?"She asked Jojo while tickling his belly.

Jojo nodded matter of factly, smiling again. He still didn't have any teeth.

"Where Daddy?"

"He's outside honey, you know where your food is?"She said

Naomi walked over and looked at Hideaki, "well, i've got two ways to make him feel better... fight... or acupuncture..." Naomi said as she pulled out a set of needles...

Hideaki immediately tensed, eyeing the needles warily. Emi stood.

"I better go check on the baby...if you two need anything, let me know, all right? And Hideaki, don't let her do anything dangerous, kay?" She kissed him on the head as she stood, heading inside.

Hideaki looked over at Naomi.

"...neither..."

"oh come on, i've only temporarily paralyzed people... then they felt better afterwards..." Naomi said as she pulled out a fairly long sharp one and moved around to the back of Hideaki's neck and lined up the needle with his spine...

Hideaki quickly jerked away.

"Don't!" He said, practically crab crawling backwards away form her, eyes on the needle.

"do I have to tie you down... it won't hurt if you hold still..." Naomi said as her clone grabbed him and flipped him face-down and held both his arms back as the original walked up, "now just hold still..." she said as she lined up the needle once more...

Hideaki immediately struggled, trying to pull away. The clone was strong...

"Don't! Do not put that needle anywhere near me!!" It sounded more like a command than a plea. "Besides, there are bandages in the way, there's no way you can do it..." He added, trying to give good reasons to dissuade her.

Shinyu popped her head out to see what was going on and carefuly put Jojo in Emi's arms and Grabbed Naomi,"He said he didn't you to!"She said sternly.

"fine... ruin my fun..." Naomi said as the clone poofed and feathers fell and landed, sticking to Hideaki before she went inside and made a couple handsigns, "feather healing jutsu" she said to herself as the feathers turned on point and sank in to Hideaki's body...
