Why to like Fay?

1. He has something mysterious about his past.

2. He is sooo funny.

3. He can be supper inteligent and nice.

4. He can make a variation of funny nicknames.

5. He can do magic, altough he does not show it.

6. And to a girl, that blond hair and blue eyes drives one crazy.

Why to like Kurogane?

1. He is super strong.

2. Although he does not show it, he cares for everyone.

3. He knows how to fight with style.

4. He can be funny when he gets angry.

5. It’s funny the way he treats Mokona.

6. And to a girl, those calm red eyes can be drool worthy.

Well, now...who is it that you like? Choose wisely and tell the reason!! And if you think of another reason just post it!! XD

My best friend, on the other hand, really loves Kurogane because of his dark appearance and his kick a$$ attitude. (Spirit0 to those of you who've read her fanfiction.)

I totally agree. That's the biggest reason why Fai is my favorite character of the series. He seems so sad at times too. It's very interesting and I can't wait until we find out more about his character. I also love his funny names for Kurogane! ^_^

On the other hand... Kurogane has lots of skill and he protects and looks after the rest of the gang... who usually end up drunk!

Sometimes, it seems like he's very lonely though. It makes me feel kinda sad. He's really mysterious (is that spelled right?) though. Whenever he get's serious, he get's this really dark look in his face that really makes me wonder what the heck happened to him in his life.

Kurogane's a great character, and his temper makes things really funny, but he get's mad due the Fai's utterly cute and adorable (yet corny) nicknames, so my reason for liking Kurogane is kinda tied in with Fai.

About that, actually Fai is STILL very capable of using his magic. Yuko mentioned that his tatoo was only a symbol that held his magic power in check, but Fai refuses to use his powers unless he has that tatoo for some reason. My guess is that since the marking held his powers in check, without that tatoo, Fai's powers are either too hard for him to control and may cause imense damage, or his powers might make him do something terrible, or do something terrible to him.

Hmm... I'll have to read the manga again... unless it's only mentioned in the anime.

It was in Vol.3 of the manga, and in the anime episode of the same situation. If you still aren't convinced about Fai still being able to use magic and just doesn't want to use it, read his converstion with Seishirou in vol.7

He's soooo cute, and funny, and pretty, and mysterious and angsty and sad and just downright adorable - *ahem* And then there's Kuro-pi... and he's just. Way. Too. Freakin'. Cool. And, well... hott. (Yeah, I do think he deserves the extra 't') And really cute too, in his own, gruff, scary 'angry puppy' way. He's just a closet marshmallow! ^.^ And soooo freakin' adorable, if you've seen the scans for vol. 13. You just... can't pick. It's like picking whether you prefer night or day, I guess. They're both sort of two completely opposite sides of the the same coin. Trust me, I tried figuring this out before once with a sort of chart thing, and I looked at it, and I stared, and I went: "Holy crap they're... similar! Except not!"

Anyway, FAI. HANDS DOWN, FAI. He's the embodiment of all I love in a character and his developement the last several arcs has been amazing. Kurogane pulls a very, very close second, though.

I loved Fai. He was one of my favourite characters, period. Hell, I painted my room very Fai-esque, it has a design on it that WAS based on Fai's tattoo. It's awesome, lawl.

But now . . I think I prefer Kurogane, and that's pretty extreme for me. Fai's just too different. He's not the Fai that I knew and loved. Hell, that's not even his name anymore. And it bothers me, it's too much change for me all at once, and I don't like it at all. So . . yeah. Kurogane's my favourite at this point, sadly. D:

Kurogane is much more...stable, than Fai, emmotionally. :3 That's why Kurogane changed less.

Well, Fai supposedly is back to being happier, after chapter 167, but with the current circumstances in Stagnant Time, I don't think it's the place to be happy-go-lucky. XD

It also bothers me how much he's given up for wishes and stuff. He looks horrible without his blue eyes~ D:!

I love easily angered seme type guys who are just so hard to crack open. And an air of kindness and concern just floats around him despite his short-tempered demeanor. I love that about characters like him.

Oh, and the fact that he sacrificed so much for his love (FAY XD) and didn't even complain gives him another check plus.

Oh, I like them both. And I would like so much if I would get them both. *Gets nose bleeding by second thoughts.*

At first I was all Fai, but then I realized Kurogane isn’t that bad. He is sexy, cute, dark, strong, hot, and cool, I like his personality and did I say hot? But Fai is too hot, cool, cute, sexy, and mysterious and I just love his melancholic character! It just makes me want to hug him. Gosh, they’re like day and night; so different that it makes them perfect. I just couldn’t pick one…If I picket Fai I would eventually get bored by his random acting and if I picket Kurogane I would get bored by that he can’t be fun. (Not in purpose, thought.) So gosh, why I just can’t choose both of them? They make such a good couple and it would be really interesting having them both…*Gets again nose bleeding.*

Bu in the end if I really had to pick either of I would probably pick Kurogane. He is just melting type and awakes trusting, which I really need. Yet he is cool and dark. Even I’m somewhat similar with him I still would probably pick him in the end. I just like more serious and quiet types.

But then again, Fai is so melancholic, yet he is so random and funny I wouldn’t ever get bored…

Gah, I’ll just love them both equally when I can choose which one is better. ^^ But it only makes things harder I can next day like Kurogane more than Fai and after that day I’ll like Fai more than Kurogane…Well, who said you can’t love them both at same time? It’s not like I was going to marry them. *Laughs.*
