Me, personally, I think the cutest couple is Kuro-pon and Tomoyo! I love them together! But, hey, that's just my opinion.

Cutest couple goes to Syaoran/Sakura, before the dramallama of Acid Tokyo. Overall favorite pairing goes to Kurogane/Fai, though. The chemistry, the developement, aahh. So much love. (Bashing is looked down upon, children.)

Hottest guy? Um. I don't know. But the hottest girl is definitely Oruha. So gorgeous. ♥

As for what girl I'd like to look like, either Oruha or Chitose or Kendappa-ou. They all have such gorgeous hair.

I can never remember what they changed her name to in Tsubasa, but she's Tomoyo's older sister, the Emperess of Japan. It's never been directly stated but it can be inferred that like Tomoyo, who has a royal name and a real name, that Kendappa's real name is... well, Kendappa. XD She originally comes from RG Veda. Her and Souma were an official couple.

Amaterasu! Gah, I can never remember how to spell her name. ._. Anyway, I hope she comes back into the story (with Souma, damnit.) She was in Kurogane's flashbacks far too little and I love her character in RG Veda so it'd be nice to see her expanded upon in Tsubasa.

I only watched the anime and i think that the hottest guy was Chaos. I actually like the airing of Chaos and Sakura. I personally hate Syaoran. FAI IS THE GREATEST!!!!!

I would also of course rather be sakura. Surrounded by 3 somewhat hot guys, all trying to help me and traveling with me. I do like the pairing of Kuro-pon and Tomoyo. Also i would just like to say that FaixSakura sorta creeps me out and KuroxSakura defenatly creeps me out!

Mudstripe - I have to say, I agree with almost EVERYTHING you just said. Personally, I don't like Syaoran too much either. SakuraxFai is okay, but it's kinda weiiird. And KuroxSakura, to me, seems kind of funny...! But, I don't think I'd like to be Sakura, unless I didn't have to act like her - I'm not THAT nice! She seems a little 'over-the-top' sweet and kind. Mind you, I'm not a MEAN person, but being her is like... just too much. Does she ever do anything wrong?!

Also, I wouldn't want to be her because I've also thought of her as a bit of an airhead. When my best friend comes over, we sometimes make fun of her - I forget why. I think she said it was because, 'She's like Mikan' ... I like Mikan... and to be honest, I'm a bit like her too. Anyway, coming back to the original subject - Who is Chaos?

O.o I've watched the anime too, but I still don't know who that is! (Gomen!)

Chaos is a fabricated lie created by Bee Train. In other words, he's an anime only character who appears in the final arc of the second season.

Because Syaoran is made of awesome. Especially in the manga. When he goes freakin' batshit. And starts killing people. And rips eyeballs of pretty blonde mages out. And eats them.

Gah, C!Syaoran! I MISS YOU. COME BACK. THE SCENE WHERE YOU LEAVE WAS HAWT. AND I MEAN COME BACK IN TRC. I DON'T CARE FOR YOUR CAMEOS IN HOLIC, DAMNIT. D

And Sakura being a nice person is not a bad thing. And yes, Sakura does do some things in the later half of the series that are very questionable and as a result of her decisions, Kurogane, Fai, and Syaoran all end up in a very, very harsh and violent enviornment and almost die. =/

The relationship between all the characters is so sweet, whether romantic or platonic. I love the Sakura and Fai relationship, it's so sweet as a mother/daughter type thing, especially in Infinity. And Fai's relationship with Syaoran becomes very interesting in Infinity and Celes. I almost cried when Syaoran reached out to stop Fai from facing the mad king! After everything Fai did, after all the lying and schemeing and bringing harm to all the group, especially Sakura, Syaoran still cares about Fai! So sweet! ♥ And how Kurogane defends Syaoran and tries to act indifferent to Sakura but he really does care about her and she's his second little princess~~~! Gah! Such a lovely family. And then of course theres Syaoran and Sakura, and how royally screwed over they got. Multiple times. D8 And Kurogane/Fai, and how Kurogane is finally learning the meaning of true strength and how he has chosen, knowing full well that it could mean either Fai dies or Kurogane may have to give up ever returning to Nihon, to bind himself to Fai. And Kurogane's support and dedication to all of them in Celes...

I never watched very far into the second season and I haven't read much of the manga (aren't I a good fan?) But I have read a few chapters in Celes. Hate me all you want - but I laughed. Even when Syaoran had gone all nutso in TOkyo and ate Fai's eye.

KUROGANE: Did you eat Fai's eye?

Well, GEE, what would give you THAT idea? I almost fell off my chair laughing. And then, when I was reading in Celes - where they kill Ashura, adn they were showing flash backs of Fai's (okay, yuui, whatever) past and real-Fai was talking to Fei Wong Reed - I started reading it out loud to my friend over the phone - and then i suddenly stopped, "WAIT! I can't read you this! I have to do voices!!!" BWAHA HA HA HA

I made Wong Reed sound sooo retarded, and I made real-Fai sound like a giirl. XD Okay, so, i only read random chapters at random times but I have an okay idea of whats going on (plus I read WIKIPEDIA)

lol... kay, so I still haven't seen "CHAOS" but w/v.

I can't really say since I don't know what spoilers you are referring to, but any of the manga spoilers are just that: manga spoilers. Episode 52 or 53 is the end of the anime. Unless you count the OVAs, which don't really connect with the tv anime and aren't out yet.

Kurogane/Souma would make some sense if Souma wasn't a canon lesbian for Kendappa-ou. 8D

Mokona/the world makes sense. If you pay really close attention to the manga, she humps like. Everything with legs. From Fai, to Kurogane, to Syaoran, to Sakura, to Kamui, to more...

A personal favorite of mine was also Fei Wong Reid/THE CHIN. Because it's so canon. ♥

Lecourt was the last 'official canon' arc because it's the last arc in the anime that actual had a manga counterpart. Everything after that in the anime was filler. Especially that one episode where Fai goes on a date with Chii. WTF~~~ D

Lol, that episode was cute - if I had shown that to my friend before she went all, "TOYA IZ SOOOOO HOTT!" on me, she would have freaked out, "Forget Sakura! I MUST KILL CHII! *takes out a knife*" yeah, that's how I'd imagine she'd have reacted. But the fact that he went on a date with Chii is kind of... weird... after all, wasn't Chii modeled after his MOTHER?

O.o Anywayz, Fei Wong Reed/THE CHIN is cool too - I almost forgot about that. But anywayz, the thing I disliked the most about the date episode... was the song they used at the end... DREAMSCAPE! THAT'S MYYY SONG!!!! Lolz, I keep listening to it when I read/write my KuroxTomo fic, and Bee Train went and used it for FAIxCHII!!!! GWAAAA!!! lolz, being retarded now. Actually, I got it after that was released *whistles*

I never liked that episode. My soul died a little when I heard about it.

And yes, Chii was modeled after Fai's mother, but in Bee Train's defense, a little bit, at the time that little detail had not been revealed and as of yet it hasn't been all that important, so Ohkawa might not have thought it was worth telling the anime production team about. That's still no excuse, though, because it's still a blatant contradiction to Chobits, where Hideki is Chii's one true love. =/

...Why does your friend want to kill Sakura? And Touya was in that episode, that's right... with Yukito! ♥ Speaking of which, am I the only one who thinks TRC! Yukito was made by TRC! Clow and is actually Yue, just like in CCS? D8

Uh, I haven't heard Dreamscape. Is it instrumental or vocal?

I have a lot of songs that remind me of my favorite pairings.

One of my favorites for Kurogane/Fai, and really for Tsubasa in general, is a song called "Franklin" by Paramore. So, so beautiful~~~ ♥♥♥

Okay... so maybe no THAT many times, but whatever.... Anywayz, I didn't understand what you said about CCS and my friend doesn't want to kill Sakura (I don't think) we just like to make fun of her and stuff because she's an airhead. That's all. In Cardcaptor Sakura, Yukito is not human, he's the disguise form of the Moon Guardian Yue. As such, his memories of his life prior to coming to Tomoeda and meeting Touya are all fabricated. In Tsubasa, because of Yukito's limited involvement in the plot thus far, there's been no indication if this is still true in Tsubasa, if he was created by Clow, if he's really Yue. Personally, I think he is (partially because I just want to see Yue show up at least once.)

Sakura's 'airheadness' is understandable seeing as she lost all her memories and thus, in a way, was mentally deaged. In the manga, not sure about the anime, but as she regains her memories she becomes more mature and less of an airhead. As for her being a 'goody-two-show,' why is that such a bad thing? And I'm not really saying that to you, but a lot of people in the fandom who hate Sakura, hate her for that reason. I wasn't aware that being a nice person was a such a terrible thing worthy of fanhatred. =/

Sakura is definitely not dumb. In Cardcaptor Sakura, she knew that the person Yukito was talking about being in love with was Touya. She can usually tell when one of her companions is bothered or in pain and she can be quite shrewd at times, like the race in Piffle.

She is... absent-minded at times because of the memory loss in Tsubasa. And she is innocent, at least in the beginning, which may give her an "airheaded" feel. But I really don't think she's dumb. I'm not a diehard Sakura fan but I do like her. Moreso in CCS than in Tsubasa but I do like her in both works.

Okay, listen - I never said that being a 'good-two-shoes' was a bad thing, and there's nothing wrong with being nice. But all I was saying is why me and my FRIEND sometimes laugh at her. I don't really hate her, as a matter of fact, if she was real - we could probably be good friends. But the thing is - she's sweet to the extent in which it becomse a burden... That's just my opinion, and also, as for the airheadedness - I think she was a bit of an airhead even before she lost her memories. But that's fine, because there are some really nice people that I know who are airheads. And I, personally, can be very retarded when I feel like it.

For example:

WEEEE! MY EViL TAPDANCING CHICKENS WILL ANIALATE YoUR PATHeTiC EViL BALLERINA COwS!!! MUA HA HA HA HA H!!!! and also... I replaced all your mineral water... WITH DISTILLED WATER!!! MUA HA HA HA HA H AH!

Yeah, sometimes I say that stuff randomly during a conversation with my friends. but hey, that's just me. And airheaded and sweet - that's just sakura. and evil and tapdancing, that's just my chickens.

p.s. It seems that the people in the Tsubasa Chronicles forums seem to like to argue with me in particular and bicker about my opinion. It ticks me off. I'm going to hang out at the Alice Academy forum instead and see if anyone can help me find the Hana-Princess Arc...

Obviously it's a manga, that doesn't mean we can't discuss it seriously. And there's nothing wrong with that, it's how I enjoy talking about Tsubasa. And there's nothing wrong with joking around either. Both are fun and can make for good discussion.

No it doesn't affect Sakura if you call her an airhead, but I'm still free to disagree with you, aren't I? I'm not attacking you personally, I said that, so please don't take it personally if I happen to disagree with you on something. It's no reflection on you, it's just MY opinion. I just don't think Sakura is an airhead so I said so. I'm not telling you to change your opinion or that you're wrong and going to hell for your opinion, I simply disagree. That's all.

Anyway, to get back on topic, I find the hottest guy Kurogane (Fai is the prettiest guy), the hottest woman either Yuuko or Oruha (but Sakura is the cutest girl). My favourite pairing is KuroFai (oh my GOD has anyone read the spoilers for the next chapter that came out today? Kurooooo oh poor him, it's so slashy but sad :() but I like some others, like Sorata and Arashi, Sakura and Tomoyo, Doumeki and Watanuki from Holic and the Lantis/Eagle/Geo mess. I also like some crack pairings, but they're just for fun~

If I could look like anyone it'd be Oruha. She's gorgeous and so elegant.

And yes, I was shocked that he would do that for Fai. This puts the whole bond thing from Acid Tokyo to shame. You know that at the start of the journey he would never do something like that for anyone but Tomoyo, and now he's doing it for Fai. He's given up so much for Fai. Kurogane really is quite a masterpiece of developement.

I prefer Oruha in Clover over TRC, though.

And I'm not at all biased towards Clover because every other time Oruha would show up she'd start stripping.

Ok, I'm trying to be vague but it's still probably best for anyone who doesn't want to be spoiled for 166 to stop reading now.

D: It's really staggering when you consider how much he's giving up by that action... his "strength" and his skills as a warrior, not to mention how difficult it will be for him to continue protecting Tomoyo. It's so wonderful to see him progress from an apathetic guy who didn't care about much besides getting stronger to this great guy who has grown and matured and learned to love and care for Fai and the kids. It's wonderful, and he does it without hesitation! He's really changed.

Yes, she's beautiful in both but she's prettiest in Clover, I think. She had nicer clothes (when she wasn't peeling them out) too. She's just lovely, that one. I think Kobato is quite lovely too, she falls more towards the "cute" spectrum but she has her "beautiful" moments

I actually don't think Kurogane will be having a problem protecting Tomoyo, because I don't think he's going to protect her anymore. I really thing that the next arc is going to be a relatively short Nihon arc, and Kurogane will choose to keep traveling with the gang? How can he not, at this point? If he and Fai are seperated, Fai will die, and it'll be because of Kurogane's choice to make him a vampire. Kurogane won't let that happen, and he's not going to let the kids go off without him. He's gonna stick by them until the very end.

Kobato is absolutely adorable! I love her so, so much! 8DDDD

I agree, she has her beautiful moments, and those moments are... well, beautiful! I have high hopes for the series and Kobato as a character. It's very interesting and different, even by CLAMP standards. And so, so many cameos! In exam 9 alone, there were crossovers from three different series! It's brilliant. And Kobato is linked to HOLiC, which is rather interesting to think about.

Yes, I totally agree. I can't picture Kurogane ever returning to Nihon and just resuming his duties protecting Tomoyo. Of course he cares for her deeply, but Fai and syaoran and Sakura are his family now. And Fai would literally die without Kurogane's blood, and I can easily see him never getting his eye back because then c!Syaoran would die. I mean, the man has given up so much for all of them, Fai especially.

The only way I could see Kurogane permanently returning to Nihon would be AFTER this all was over, there's no way he'd stay if they landed there in the middle of the journey. And with Fai, really, since Fai'd die without him and Kurogane's already invested so much in him.

Kobato is lovely. I like the old series better than the new one, I hope it catches up soon. Overall there is definitely not enough Kobato in the world. :(

I really don't see him returning to Nihon once they leave. I get the impression that him leaving of his own free will would sort of be his way of retiring as a ninja. And once they leave, it'll be hard for them to get back without Fai using his magic. If anything, I could see them either carrying on world jumping with Mokona as their guide or staying in Clow with Sakura. I just can't see them staying in Nihon at all.

I believe exam 10 or 11 will be the end of the new Kobato and it will pick up where Kobato (Temporary) left off after that. She has the bottle at the end of exam 9, after all.

Kurogane cut off his own arm? Now THAT is creepy. If CLAMP keep going on like this, Fai's going to lose his other eye AND his tongue and Kurogane's gonna be nothing but a torso who gets pulleda around in a little red wagon and holds his sword between his teeth. And please, don't start saying that was an insult to CLAMP, cause I'm sure you can tell that was a joke. -.-;

Anywayz... he cut off his arm... that's just... freaky. Even if it was for Fai. That's weird. I hope that Shu curse-seal-thing that protected him earlier will help him regrow it.... I can't get it out of my head. He cut off his ARM - that is just disturbing. I'm going to and... think for a bit.

I actually love that he cut off his arm. It's shocking and he's gonna be at a huge disadvantage for the rest of his life, but it shows how much he's grown to care for his little family. I don't think he'll regrow it because that takes all the meaning away from the act itself. He's given up everything he stood for before (his potential strength when he killed Ashura, his blood - and therefore his independance from the group-, his ARM, which is essential for a warrior, and now the sword itself) just to protect Syaoran, Fai, and Sakura. It illustrates how much he's grown in a huge way.

I dunno why, but I like the idea of one-armed Kurogane. It's sexy in a strange, strange way that confuses even me.

If you really think about it, there was foreshadowing that Kurogane would lose an arm as far back as Lecourt. The only part of Kurodaddy that was left was his arm. 8D TRU FAX.

People on other sites are talking about how badly they feel for Kurogane, and really, if anything, I'm proud of him. Proud of how much he's grown, and the fact that it was a choice he made, and now he has to live with it, and he's perfectly willing to do so if it means he can protect Fai, and the kids. That's quite a feat. He's most certainly come a long way from the angry, agressive, almost uncaring ninja who first showed up at Yuuko's shop.

And I would just like to say now that I reserve the right to wave the 'KuroFai is CANON' flag after this chapter is officially out. 8D

Mmm, and even in Tokyo, he would carry Fai with only one arm, even though it would have been easier (and less awkward with the unwitting assgrabbage) to use two. Probably not foreshadowing, but it shows that he won't necessarily be handicapped just because of this.

I don't feel bad for him either. It's sad he's lost an arm, but he made that choice, and he did it without hesitation. It makes it even more meaningful when you consider the fact that he TOSSED SOUHI AWAY in order to pick up Fai. His sword, at the beginning, was his "most precious thing" (albeit it wasn't souhi) and now he's throwing his sword away carelessly in order to save Fai. Ginryu meant more to him because it was a copy of his father's, but I can't see Kurogane holding onto even ginryu if it meant Fai would be left behind.

Yeah, if them being bound by blood, possibly forever, and Kurogane giving up his "I'm not involved" air to save Fai's life wasn't enough to call it canon, I'd say this is. To me, anyway, they've been heading towards canon since Tokyo, but THIS just cinches it. God I can't wait for the scans!

You think it's sexy that he lost his arm? *blink blink* you are very interesting. I suppose then, it would make Fai hot if he were to chew of his leg to save Kurogane. Hee hee... Though, I can't imagine a situation where it would be necessary to actually CHEW it off... Ahem, well... I'm very bored right now and I'm just waiting for someone to update - because they said they'd be updating on Monday. It's monday. I WANT THEM TO UPDATE! MUST KNOW HOW AZUMI MURDERS MY IZZY - ahem... wait... did I say Izzy? Lolz, I've been making up weird names for characters...

I know you guys don't really like KuroxTomo or FaixSaku (I don't like FxS either) but if there was a really cool story - would you?

I think it's the meaning behind it that makes it sexy. He did it so that he wouldn't loose Fai. Plus Kurogane is sexy anyway, arm or no.

Hmm, probably not.

It's not that I don't think those pairings can be written well, or that the right author could make them work, it's just that KuroTomo as a romantic pairing disturbs me a bit. I don't find it sexy or cute in the slightest when it's a romantic pairing. And I think it would be really hard for an author to convince me, personally, that Tomoyo loved Kurogane back, because she loved Sakura so deeply and Kurogane is the exact opposite of her. I'm not saying it can't be done, but the Sakura thing is always in the back of my mind. I don't have anything against KuroTomo as a pairing (free fandom and all, people like different things) but I just really, really don't like it myself.

FaixSakura... hmm, MAYBE I would read if it was really, really well-done, but even then probably not. I'd feel too bad for Syaoran and Kurogane, lol, especially if the author just pushed them aside. Plus I love their platonic interaction, I think making it romantic would take away from the sweetness of it for me :S

I'm sure there are lots of well-written KuroTomo and FaiSakura fics out there, though. They just don't appeal to me.

And FaiChii, with the recent chapter revelation is now... just creepy, lol.

But... I think you should remember that CCS and TRC are two different mangas. I, personally, think KuroTomo is cute BECAUSE of the difference between them, and the fact that Kurogane can't seemed to get all that mad at her... hee hee...

Anywayz, I don't really like FaiSaku - it kind of scares me a bit because... Sakura seems so innocent and Fai... seems so... not innocent O.o Do you get me? It's just something to me, that seems like it wouldn't work too well. I hope I haven't offended any FaiSaku supporters out there, this is just my personal opinion and you're free to support whatever you want!

At the same time, though, Tomoyo shares the same soul with Piffle!Tomoyo and CCS!Tomoyo. Her love for Sakura spans dimensions. And I have difficulty getting why her "type" would do a complete 180. It's not impossible, sure, it just seems unlikely to me.

Yeah, FaiSakura isn't for me either. I don't think he'd ever take advantage or be manipulative with her, but I don't think he'd tell her if something was wrong, he'd just try to make sure she was as protected as possible. I don't see it working, even without Syaoran and Kurogane in the picture.

That's why I don't like it either. It's not even about KuroFai, it's SakuTomo. Tomoyo's love for Sakura was one of the highlights of Cardcaptor Sakura, and CLAMP themselves have praised her on it time and time again. To take away Tomoyo's love for Sakura... it's like taking away what makes Tomoyo such a great character to begin with. That's kinda why, I hate to say it, but I don't really like Tomoyo-hime very much. Piffle! Tomoyo was better, but neither of them really felt like the Tomoyo I've known and loved for so long.

And there's just something about that pairing that seems so... shallow? I don't know, it's just whenever I ask someone why they like that pairing, the main reasons are usually that they look cute together, Tomoyo ended up single in CCS so she deserves a man (WTF?!), or that he promised to get back to her waaaaaaay back in the beginning (which isn't Kurogane's top priority right now and hasn't been for awhile.) I don't know, it just feels like a lot of the fans, not necessarilly you, Tomoko, but a lot of them, only like it for face value and because they don't like the gay. =/ I don't think I'd mind the pairing as much if Tomoyo was in the series more, and their was more developement in their relationship, but there hasn't been. It's been all developement between and within the little band of travellers, especially Kurogane and Fai.

Yes, I agree. KuroTomo rubs me the wrong way because it seems like it's saying "well, okay, Tomoyo, you had your crush, now get serious and kind yourself a MAN!" Obviously there are KuroTomo fans who like the pairing for good reasons, but a good deal of them like it because it's not a gay pairing, unfortunately. Plus Sakura was cute and sweet and Kurogane is so very not that I cannot for the life of me understand why Tomoyo would fall in love with Kurogane. They have really sweet interaction in the manga and I enjoy that, but I can't see it as romantic. PERSONALLY, that is, I'm definitely not trying to insult the pairing or people who like it.

Though, to their credit, there are way more nice, open-minded KuroTomo fans than there are FaiChii fans! Probably because KuroTomo actually has subtext (I don't see it as romantic in the slightest but at least they have some) whereas FaiChii is just baseless.

I agree, though, Tomoyo was awesomest in CCS. Piffle!Tomoyo showed shades of CCS!Tomoyo but Nihon!Tomoyo hasn't been in it enough to really show us much of her personality. She always gets too caught up in the plot whenever she's around. :(

I can understand Kurogane maybe having had a crush on Tomoyo, because that, at least, has been implied, but over the course of the series that sort of faded away into real love for someone else. Not to say that he doesn't care a great deal about Tomoyo, because he does, but romance? Can't see it.

I agree, though, there are more relatively sane KuroTomo fans than there are Fai/Chii fans. Again, most Fai/Chii fans are anime fanbrats. =/

And I hate the fact that I've seen people say that if Tomoyo doesn't end up with Kurogane in the end of the series, they will disown CLAMP. "She ended up single in CCS, it's her turn for a good man!" That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. For one thing, Tomoyo is like... completely lesbian. That's the real reason she sent Kurogane away, so she could have lesbian lessons from Kendappa, the queen of the lesbians. And for another thing, she was perfectly happy single. Why do people assume she needs a man in order to be happy? That's the same reason Eriol/Tomoyo rubs me in a very, very wrong way.

Yup, I could understand that, kind of a mixture of gratitude, idolization and a desire to protect her. I can't see it being real love. He clearly cares about her a great deal but it doesn't seem romantic. Plus, she, uh... REALLY looks like his mom. Oedipal complex ftw?

The anime is not even worth MENTIONING here, lol, it was so bad. It totally violated the manga. Fai/Chii was the worst of it but the fillers and the plot-changes were terrible enough.

YES I hate that! She's happy being single and loving Sakura from afar. She doesn't NEED a man to be happy, none of us do! If she wants a man, fine, god bless her and I hope she's happy, but she doesn't ever express a desire to be with anyone besides Sakura, and the wonderful thing about her character is that she KNOWS Sakura doesn't love her the same way.
