Topic: Anything else, including general talks
Here is where you can get the chance to talk about anything else in general. I know this forum is under Azumanga Daioh, but a general one would be good for anything else.

No rules, although as usual please keep all points on here safe for the younger readers. No explicit language/suggestive themes etc etc yada yada.

I have a very good suggestion for a Azumanga Daioh/Samurai-Dynasty Warriors crossover.

This is based on the Creepshow 2 story "Chief Woodenhead", and it's about Sakaki and James (My original character) who owns a video game store in Azumanga. James is always found taking care of his wax statues of his popular Samurai-Dynasty Warriors from his fave games. Sakaki is concerned about James' addiction, and starts to think of their future of the students if they should buy their store.

Chiyo, Osaka, and Kaorin came to James and Sakaki to give him "Unique Items" for his wax statues. "Unique Items" are what you try to get in a certain objective from the Warriors games, giving your characters' Special Attacks a boost up. He accepts them, and they went back inside to see Yukari with Yomi, Tomo and Kagura with payback in their minds. Yukari wants to exchange her game that she has given frustration for Grand Theft Auto IV. James says that it won't come out until next year, so Yukari, Yomi, Tomo and Kagura decide to rob the joint. Tomo and Kagura also beated Sakaki and James to unconsciousness, and left...along with the Unique Items they stole.

This is when the Samurai and Dynasty Warriors to go into action.

If you think this is a great crossover, guess who'll have a shot at Tomo, Kagura, Yomi and Yukari.

It does sound like a very good idea, and I'm glad you took the time to tell me about it as I would've had no idea otherwise. It's good. Tomo and Kagura leaving with the 'Unique Items' sounds like a humorous turn of events also.

Yourd faithfully, LHA.

Here's my update I got so far.

I choose the Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors to be James' wax figures to murder Yukari, Yomi, Kagura and Tomo.

Samurai Warriors wax figures:

Keiji Maeda, Shingen Takeda, Kenshin Uesugi, Kunoichi, Yukimura Sanada, Tadakatsu Honda, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, Ginchiyo Tachibana, Musashi Miyamoto, Nobunaga Oda

Dynasty Warriors wax figures:

Xiao Qiao, Da Qiao, Zhen Ji, Zhang He, Sun Shang Xiang, Xu Shu, Diao Chan, Zhu Rong, Cao Pi, Lu Bu

The detail is that each Azu-girl and Yukari will guard 5 Unique Items at their house (Along with Yukari's 5 boxes) so that Yukari's mom doesn't want to know that her daughter's a robber.

Each warrior will possess fourth weapons. The Fourth Weapons are the strongest versions of their main weapons in the Warriors franchise. You can only get them if you play a 3-star Hard stage or Chaos (The essence of TOUGH) of any difficulty (I play Warriors Orochi all the time, so I used this as an example).

Each 5 of the Warriors will invade their households and get the boxes back and they have their own style of killing like they kill Peons (Foot soldiers) and Officers (Mini Bosses).

By the way, have you heard of the Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors series?

How about this for another installment of my "Samurai-Dynasty Warriors Daioh" tale:

After the end of my work in progress, Chiyo discovered her totebag with blood-caked Unique Item boxes on her bed. Chiyo quickly made a stop at the video game place, and she discovered that the wax figures' weapons were very bloody, and some Warriors held remains of Tomo, Kagura, Yomi, and Yukari. Chiyo then quickly found James and Sakaki, finally regaining consciousness when they have discovered that the store is really trashed.

Meanwhile, Tomo's, Yomi's, Kagura's, and even Yukari's mom found their bodies in their houses, and they think they committed suicide in a gross manner. This would be about the time the other anime characters to start watching a show that's like "Unsolved Mysteries" (It's one of NBC's most top-rated real mystery shows of the 90's that would show every Wednesday night)

When Nyamo catches this show, she overheard that Yukari has been murdered. Nyamo was so stressed about losing her friend like that. Other anime characters gave interviews and their POV's of what happened, but most of them said it was suicide, or a professional assassin's killing spree that killed 2 Knuckleheads, Yomi and the English teacher.

Almost NOBODY ever knew that the wax figures killed them.

What do you think of this?

Since you've made a comeback, I've got another idea based on your ID name. How about this:

I'd make an anime/American Gladiators (The classic, not the new NBC series) fanfic where some of anime's top characters compete against the Gladiators in grueling events. I've thought of some matchups:

The women's competitors would have Minamo Kurosawa vs. Yukari Tanizaki, Sakaki vs. Kagura, Tomo vs. Yomi, Naru Narusegawa vs. Kanako Urishima, Motoko Aoyama vs. Tsuroko Aoyama, etc.

The men's competitors would have Keitaro Urashima vs. Kentaro Sakata, Sousuke Sagara vs. Kurz Weber, etc.

I know the Gladiators show so well, and seen and knew all the events. If there's any wishes you would like to see in this one, let me hear them.

It certainly sounds good, I must say, although I haven't really watched much of the Gladiators, so I'm afraid on that front you may be on your own =S. However, the pairings are quite humorous and well done, especially because people usually see them as romantic ones, like Sakaki and Kagura, Tomo and Yomi etc.

Like I've said, it is a very good idea, but I don't really know what else to suggest yet. I'm sorry for not being much help =(.

It's alright, LHA. I know all the events and Gladiators alike. I'm glad you love the pairings though. We all know that Sakaki is the quiet contender with very little to comment and a superstar athelete, Tomo and her excitement, etc.

OK, let me see what ideas I can make...if I thought of any good ones with my knowledge alone, I'll get back to you.

LHA, I've finally found an American Gladiators site where you'll find out all about the classic Gladiators and the events. It features all the memorable clips from the events and the contenders and gladiators who made these events memorable. http://www.americangladiators.com is the place to go.

That's when I'll use these clips as inspirations for the AD and LH contenders. Last night, I was thinking "If Yukari and Nyamo had a rivalry match-up in the PowerBall event, which one would score the most points?" Or when Sakaki ran through the Gauntlet of 5 female Gladiators in a short amount of time, or Tomo acting like a wildcat in every event that features Yomi, etc.

When it comes to Keitaro facing Kentaro in some events, Keitaro might be weak because of the suffering that Naru and Motoko laid to him in the anime, how will Keitaro win against the male Gladiators?

Little bonus help from me.

Who knows? I can make a tournament fanfic with competiting pairs instead of them being romantic. Also, I may add some new pairs.
