Recently I have been indulging in "Welcome to the Black Parade" by MCR. It's really deep, considering the backstory of my Offspring characters, it fits well into the story.

A band I recently caught wind of is Rhapsody of Fire. They are unique in that they specialize in epic rock. And ALL their songs are meant to outline a specific story. Wiki it, it is infact pretty cool. Just try YouTube-ing "Holy Thunderforce."

Sublime! Lead singer Brad Nowell died a few years back from a drug overdose. This is bad children because his music didn't didn't become truly famous until after his death where he gained a great cult following and soon reached rock star status... but he was dead. And his band was essentially disbanded. Even though he might of been high when he thought up his many songs, they are still quite enjoyable and fun to listen to. Look em' up.
