Okay, sorry, that's another one of my obsessions, I'll just shut up now. Except for this:

Well the day before was brutal. Just a piece of advice, get everything you need for the convention as early as possible, the line to get our stuff was literally out the hotel. The first day was great, and completely insane. Some of the actors that aren't as well known will go first, like maybe a guest star that was on the show a couple times. Get used to spending a grueling amout of time sitting and waiting! At the convention I went to you could go up to a mirco phone that was on both sides of the stage and ask them questions, but it's not like that at every convention. I pretty much asked almost EVERY person that went up there a question, sometimes two. :D They might have prizes you could win, I won a T-shirt with the SG-1 cast on it for asking a question the experts were stumped on, which took a lot of effort, they know A LOT about Stargate, they were the people behind Gateworld I believe.

Sometimes if you walk around outside the hotel you'll see them walking around, like I met Michael Shanks, the guy who plays Pete Shanahan (can't remember his name), and a Wraith Queen that way. Dan Shea who plays Siler was around the hotel too, I met him a couple times. I almost died at the end of the convention because it was his turn to be on stage, and we'd gotten the change to talk quite a bit (boy is he tall!) When we talked I just told him that I was learning Japanese and that I wanted to visit there someday and we just talked... it was really cool. Anyway when he got on stage officially the last day of the convention I figured I'd ask him a question and he looks over at me, smiles and says "Hey Andrea" (which is my first name :gasp:) I was so surprised he remembered my name I forgot my question. lol It was just so wild!

But really all that happens is they come on stage, talk a bit and answer our quesitons. Rachael Luttrull (sp?) actually sang a song for us, and showed us some moves with the sticks (can't remember if they're called something.) A couple people gave stuff they'd made or whatever to the actors and actresses (like I did) and it was just great. The one in Canada was a dream. You could touch the stuff on set, like I touched the stargate like Cameron Mitchell had in SG-1 when he first came to the SGC, and I got to walk in the elevator and touch Walter's controls, you'd crack up if you saw the keys on the keyboard, they're just a jumbled mess! I sat in Hammond's/Landry's office. Then we went over to Atlantis and I got my picture taken in the jumper, I got to sit down and mess with the controls. I sat in Elizabeth's chair, touched the Atlantis stargate, walked up and down the steps... it was amazing. They even showed us how they reuse a set. Then we went to the Dadadlus (don't know how to spell it) and sat in the chair and all that. It was really awesome. The person that actually showed us around was John Smith if you can believe it! And we saw Martin Gero there too, he was absolutely hilarious. Oh, and we also walked in the village they have, the bricks are really just styrofoam (I'm a bad speller) you touch it and you can see it bend. It was absolutely crazy seeing everything up close, stuff that you think is one thing is so completely not! On the outside of the set of Atlantis as you go around it's all wood, but on the inside it's a metal Atlantis gateroom. It's amazing what they can do!

Okay, them me stop rambling! That answer your question? lol

Next year, I'm going to find an SGA uniform and wear that as my Halloween costume! Or I could find an SG-1 one and be Vala, since she's the character I look the most like. ^_^ :D XP Today I was two things: at school I was a princess (with a sword, I may add :D), and at home when I was handing out candy I was Lemony Snicket (with a sign that said "LEMONY SNICKET IS NOT HERE!!!" on one side and "SCREAM AND RUN AWAY!!! NOW! {no, really!}" on the other...yeah, if you're a big fan of LS, you'd get it XP).

sounds amazing, i bet its just nice to have actual conversations w/ some of them.(good job ob the question!) and to ask them stuff.

pete is one of the deluise's and was it andee frizzell do you think? i think shes great. oh, and they are bantos sticks.

Andee Frizzell and David Deluise! You'd think I'd remember that, but I never can. Which is sad cause I LOVE David's dad, and he's pretty cool too. When he went on stage he talked about how he went to his brother after the episode he played in to see how the fans liked him and his brother's just like "Yeah, they hate you." It was sooo funny, poor guy! I told him I liked him, I just thought he should go through the stargate and hook up with Teyla! He seemed to like that idea! lol

Andee was cool, very pretty also pretty tall too!

Bantos sticks... wow, I blame the time, I'm tired and I can't think properly! I got a bunch of Stargate mags and I've been taking the tests, I've done sooo well, I know this stuff... just apparently not now! lol

If I even SAW a glimpse of them, there'd be a *THUMP* and it's time to bring out the defibrilator!! CLEAR! XDXDXD

Anyway, on a happier note, only 2 hours 13 minutes until I watch the episode! It would only be 13 minutes, but I watch Numbers at 10, so I watch Atlantis at midnight. Gives me and excuse to stay up until one in the morning. Even if it's the weekend my mom doesn't like us staying up too late. Ugh.

So I know you guys are fans of Shweir and Sam/Rodney, how do you feel about Teyla/Ronan?

I have no idea! I actually like Teyla and Ronan, but hey, Pete's a good guy, a little bit of a stalker, but a good guy! lol But I don't really LOVE any ship with Teyla, so it seemed like the obvious choice! The VERY first episode I saw of Stargate was Chimera, so it's kinda hard to hate that episode, it got me into Stargate! When I turned on the TV I see Sam and Pete kissing, and I'm like, "what the heck!" Nothing else was on, so I watched the whole episode and I already liked RDA, so once I realized he was on the show I wanted to watch the show.

You even got to meet Michael Shanks and Andee Frizzell?! Now I'm even more jealous.

Michael's cool, really funny. I met him while he walked into the hotel and we talked a bit before he had to go. I was like, "so when is Vala and Daniel gonna hook up." He just laughed and said, "I don't know, we should talk to those two and get their mind straight!" He's a silly one!

Andee's cool too. She did the voice of the queen where she tells John to kneel, so that was wild, she's scary with that voice!!!!!!!!

If I could go as anyone it would probably be Elizabeth since I have curly hair, I'm actually mixed (white and black) so it'd be hard to look like anyone, too light for Teyla, too dark for Elizabeth. I'm not blonde, and once again too light for Vala, and I just cut my hair, so I don't even have that! Maybe Sha're, but she dies, so it wouldn't be as fun!

As for TeylaRonon...I was never CRAZY about it, but I've liked it...until now I'm starting to go back and forth b/t that and the RononKeller they (are doing--saw a clip...O_o) yeah...okay... anyhoo, I think both pairings are very cute.

im for RononTeyla. i think they are pretty good for each other, but i dont care too much. they have some really nice moments. like echoes, and the end of lifeline, and some others.

I am definately a Teyla/Ronon shipper. You can just ask sparklyshimmer, I absolutely love the scene between them in Echoes. It's my favorite and I bug her to no end with it!

I don't remember why I started watching Stargate, but I just did with my dad. About 4 years ago I think. I've seen maybe a part of one episode of McGuyver, but I'm sure the series is pretty good since it's got Richard Dean Anderson in it.

Anyway, the countdown continues! Only 16 more minutes till I watch the ep.
