since this is for randomness, and this is totally random, i decided to ship all the characters in sga off on the good ship shippy mcshipperson (yes thats its name)

here are my pairings so far, tell me what you think, if your totally disturbed, or delighted, or somewhere anybetween

rodney goes with ronan, but can also go with carson or zalenka

teyla goes with michael

weir can either go with woolsey or the guy that commands the dedalus (cant for the life of me remember his name)

keller can go with rodney, carson, michael, todd, or telya

so guys, tell me what you think, come up with your own, tell me if ive forgotten anyone and go and run with my ideas if youd like... run, go on!

I get what you're saying. Ronon and Teyla can be sort of like brother/sister sometimes in their similarities. What I like about RononKeller is that they're so different yet something about that makes them compliment each other well. The big warrior guy and the gentle little doctor. ^_^

Anyhoo...I'm tired of arguing about McKeller...yes, they were cute but the pairing came out of NOWHERE, literally, and I'm PO-ed at the lack of discretion with scriptwriting when it was introduced in "Trio". Had they spent time trying to introduce it and not just merely throwing it in our faces, I might have more tolerance for it. But they didn't. And devoting an entire episode to it *cough*BrainStorm*cough* was not really necessary...that ep just spelt the downfall of S5 right there. Notice that the episodes after the mid-season two parter (which was freaking awesome) just went downhill. Sloppy writing, random filler episodes...honestly, I was getting quite bored with the show (and it's my favoritest show ever! I am obsessed), with the exception of "Vegas". For the end of the series, they should've gone out with a bang, but the way they finished S5 just had the feel of everybody giving up on the whole show. It was like they went "oh...we're being cancelled. oh well, just finish the season". I was very peeved and started paying more attention to Sanctuary b/c at that point it had become more interesting. :-/

And they totally messed up Rodney's character near the end...I dunno, but he just wasn't McKay anymore. Something about the feel of the character changed and it was really weird and I hated it. :-/ And he's my favorite character!! I was very upset...I felt like I had lost dear beloved Rodney. :_(

And, just so you get where I'm coming from (partly)...I HATE FILLER EPISODES. I HATE THEM. For the most part. (Sanctuary actually only had 13 eps so they wouldn't have as many fillers...granted, we have to wait until October for the next season, but at least they didn't make the show look random/stupid by throwing in too much stuff that had nothing to do with the main storyline). Now if it's something like "200" on SG-1, that's allowed, b/c they stayed on-track with most of the rest of the eps. SGA kind of had too many fillers...and that was one of the things that bothered me about the show (no matter how awesome it was otherwise).

Anyway...

Anyhoo, yln, Tesla is a character on the show Sanctuary...he's basically the historical guy, but with a few twists. 1) He's a vampire 2) He's about 153 (but hasn't aged...the show takes place in present-day)--it's a bit hard to explain why, but basically he, Amanda Tapping's Character Helen Magnus, and three other guys did an experiment at Oxford over a century ago that altered their DNA and now they have special abilities. Except Tesla apparently had dormant vampire genes already in his DNA...so, yeah...it makes more sense if you watch the show XD. The actor who plays him, Jonathon Young, actually wrote a play about the real Tesla and that was basically how he launched his career :) (And he's hot, too. lol)
