Woolsey got Chucks name wrong! awwww! (thought that was hilarious though. he doesnt know chuck, yet he knows amelia?) i loved vanessa, loved that se was Australian! It was really too bad she wasnt really real. and now that makes soooo much more sense why Kolya is back. But seriously, sheppard is messed up....and when his hand got cut off....*shiver* soo creepy and i couldnt believe theyd actually done it! and then when it came back for commercial, there was so not enough blood, really. oh! and we so called zelenka :P

Anyway, I haven't seen either ep of SGA or Sanctuary from last night (we were watching Firefly :D). Must...catch...up...

But the nubbins freaked me out. They look like freaking furbies. I HATE furbies. They scare the crap out of me. I mean, whose brilliant idea was it in the 90's to make some creepy toy that looks like a gremlin, blinks its eyes, and randomly makes weird noises in the middle of the night?! *shudders* And people loved them! I remember, some kids at my school had them...and then McDonald's came out w/ the mini ones...ugh, I got one, it was so WEIRD O_o

...seriously, though. Will needs to control himself. LOL Geez, dude, you can't hit on a girl AND her freaking MOTHER at the same time. I mean, like, wtf? XD Will and Helen's conversations are adorable...and THAT scene w/ Ashley was, umm...yeah, whatever, but get a grip...you can't always blame the pheromones...ROFL XP

But I honestly think they're doing this b/c the show is ending and they had no freaking idea what to do after that...no offense, but the ship seems like a plot filler to me.

If I wrote the show...well, first of all, I'd have money, second of all, it wouldn't BE being cancelled, and third of all, SGA would be the dramatic equivalent of LOTR at this point b/c THAT's how incredibly epic I'd make it. And if it was that epic, it wouldn't have to be cancelled. The cybermen would come back, the Asgard would come back, LIZ would come back, Michael would reincarnate himself, and then there would be all-out war among all those other advanced races Liz kept talking about. Then Edward Cullen would fly in and annihilate them all...jk about that part, LOL...but anyway...Ronon would actually have character development (oooooh, character development! What the hell is that? never heard of it ;p). And somebody would have to die...well, almost die, b/c they've killed enough people already. And then, what the heck, we'll throw Daniel back into this too...and even Jack...and of course bring back Sam for some of it...maybe even Agent Barrett (lol I love him for some reason)...have someone lose a limb, someone else get knocked into a coma, maybe the wraith will find earth again and while that happens the Trust will kidnap somebody and then John will have to go shoot people as usual. Someone else will have to travel to the future again to figure out how to fix something...or maybe the future people will send a bunny (or a nubbin)...okay, jk about that too XD...but, seriously, maybe then some idiot will release a mass plague into the galaxy, which means mass quarantine and mass dying, and mass dramatic effect, and mass money, and mass viewers, and no more idiotic control coming from the freaking MGM/nbc people who insist that the show isn't worth watching anymore. There. :D

Ok! Brain Storm! saw it last night:

LOVED this ep. i give it a full 10 out of 10. No ofense to Shep fans, but it was kinda refreshing not to have him be the overbearing hero or even in the ep a lot. Loved Keller, i love how she's so confident with Rodney (but Aww felt a *litle* bad for Ronon in the beginning) and i was just waaaaay too excited about the shippiness! Ek! The way he rescued her, held hands, and everything just was so cute. Although the making out at the end was a little weird lol.

I really liked this ep, as the "going green" episode. i really liked the plot and it was fun wth all the scientists and Bill Nye! They were all so hilarious at points! So mean to each other! humph!

And what i thought was cool was it was sorta related to an article i reported on for my physics class :P

"30 THINGS I LEARNED FROM WATCHING THE EPISODE 'BRAIN STORM'"

1) The writers are horrendously awful at writing romance.

2) Rodney McKay isn't really THAT arrogant.

3) Freeze lightning will kill you.

4) Under no circumstances must you try some drastic measures to stop global warming b/c it just won't end that way.

5) Al Gore is still an idiot.

6) This episode would have been infinitely better had Sam Carter been there instead to intellectually whoop everybody's butts while technobabbling w/ Rodney for an entire hour on TV.

7) Jennifer would make a very good elementary school teacher.

8) When you fill a room with nerds, the results are disastrous (actually, I already knew that...at least they weren't spewing philosophy...that would've been unbearable).

9) Jen's boots definitely did NOT go with that dress.

10) McKeller just got ten times cheesier than before...oh, wait, it wasn't even cheesy before. Now it is.

11) McKeller STILL doesn't make any logical sense.

12) The writers suck with consistency issues. And proper character development.

13) Jennifer still can't silence Rodney's whining as fast as Sam can. Jen--a bit of urging; Sam--one look. Sam wins. But I still lost the game. Damn it.

haha yeah i kinda figured you werent much a fan later after your post on the YotS forum. i saw the movie the second day it was out - loved ot and Carlisle is hot. i hadnt actually read the books but had promised like five people i would, so i started yesterday. and sheesh i must i agree, Bellas is annoying. i dont much like her either. im on chapter 11, waiting for the famed medow scene so i can laugh at the fact that he sparkles (i just find that hilarious for some reason)

Damn, and it's all the fault of that "Trio" episode (I don't know if he even wrote that one either, but it doesn't matter) which COULD have ended properly but they completely abandoned Sam at the end...*grumbles* Why the hell wouldn't you go visit her, for goodness' sakes?? She and Rodney had that whole freaking "I'm not leaving you here/leave me here" conversation in the mine, and then it was like...okay, they're going to talk to each other at the end of the ep, right? And then the storyline fell over a cliff and they did that stupid "You owe me a beer" bit. It wouldn't have been stupid if they had actually done something that followed logically and had the two of them visit Sam, but nooooo writers get random idea to introduce random ship at the worst time possible and completely blow off the injured woman who risked her life twice climbing 30 ft up in the air on boxes trying to get other two out of a collapsing mine. And they're like, "let's go get a beer"...and given the context of Rodney's character, that scene does not follow in line w/ his character AT ALL...he spends so much time being obsessed w/ Sam and then she gets hurt and he's all like "OMG SHE CAN'T DIE" and then at the end of the episode he almost completely forgets about her. Inconsistency!! I mean, he can go get a beer w/ Jen later, that's fine...but don't blow off the woman who just helped save your life (granted, he kind of saved hers too, but she still climbed up the boxes) to go get a beer. I mean, she even TOLD him to LEAVE her there...and after all that almost self-sacrifice he doesn't even go and visit her. It makes NO SENSE...wtf...honestly, McKeller came out of NOWHERE...even SHEYLA has more context than it does. Really. You can obviously see Teyla and John are geniunely close, and people can interpret that as Sheyla (although it is still the spawn of Satan too. Besides, they went inches too close to making Sparky canon for Sheyla to really exist anymore). But McKeller I never saw until "Trio". Like, Jen and Rodney had some cute little moments, but then all of a sudden they threw a train wreck at everybody and WHOOPS! Here's McKeller...??? WHERE IS THE FREAKING EXPLANATION? I DON'T GET ANY OF IT!! No backstory?? O_o Of most of all the other pairings I know...John&Liz have a history (as really close...REALLY...friends), John&Teyla have a history (as friends, teammates), Teyla&Ronon have a history (teammates, similar experiences), Sam&Rodney have a history (a very weird one, but it's there, nonetheless), and for goodness' sakes Teyla&MICHAEL even had a history (TeylaKenaan doesn't count b/c he's offscreen character and all the rest of the ships are w/ main ppl). But McKeller came out of nowhere...I understand ppl went *SQUEE!* during "The Shrine", but 1) The ep totally blew off Jeannie and almost blew off Ronon 2) Okay, RONON freaking saved Rodney's life b/c he kept suggesting to go to the shrine in the first place and the radiation there was what drew the parasite out 3) The "I've loved you for some time now" thing had absolutely no (positive) effect on me. If I hadn't been so angry at it, I would've just sat there going, "really? are you serious?" in a really bored way. B/c the ship never had any real buildup in the first place (umm...TLM...anybody else notice that Rodney had lost everybody and Jen was the only one left? What else was he supposed to do? And it's an alternate timeline anyway), the line just completely lost it's poignancy. It would've been so much more powerful had McKeller not come out of the blue, but it did, so that line just went flat.

And "Brain Storm"? The middle parts were okay, but the beginning and end were almost ridiculous (well, more like the ending). It was, yes, like watching HSM *shudder*. No backup. Completely flat. And the whole "I love you" exchange just felt like it was thrown in there at the last minute...like the script was edited really badly or something. I felt almost no sympathy for them at all...which is unusual b/c I am very attached to the SGA characters. It was so...SAPPY. Okay in a squee-ish fluff fic, but for the show itself, it just doesn't work. And you know what? It was SO incredibly lovey-dovey that the minute I saw them getting like that, and being all lovey-dovey, I was almost immediately thinking, "this is never going to last". It always happens to the extremely overly affectionate ppl and then all of a sudden the fluffiness goes away one day and you're left with...what? If the show goes on by some miracle, it's going to be a strain to write it, ppl will lose interest in it, and for the characters...realistically it'll never keep on going. Even in the movies I don't think it'll last. It'll be like OMG Sam and Jack (but mind you, they actually have substantial backup)...and they dragged that on forever and it died. I mean, to the people who actually saw it, but I never really got it at all until crazy SJ fans had to point out every SJ moment in existence. It still exists only b/c 1) it's never really been actualized 2) Sam and Jack were on for almost 10 years together, they definitely have a "history". McKeller has neither...the ending of "Brain Storm" was so fluffy that it looked like the kind of relationship one of my guy friends always gets into where they're all like "yay! we're so happy"...next 2 weeks, it's done. Granted, the relationship he's in now has been going on for awhile, but I keep getting this weird feeling that the two of them aren't really happy anymore...it always seemed so forced to me. I keep feeling this "get out of it already" feeling from them...guuuhh it's so weird and I really wish something would happen so everyone can just breathe...

But anyway, that's why I think it's the spawn of Satan, illogical, etc. Oh, and Rodney just seems...odd...around Jennifer. Like he's not completely itself. I was watching the ep and that little something REALLY bothered me. It was just...weird...it made me not like him...did you see that? It made me NOT LIKE HIM. Do you realize how APOCALYPTIC that is?!

And for the record, Sam can still shut him up faster. ;)

Well i think just Infection and Identity right? I guess i liked Infection. It did have lorne in it :) and i did like the Todd Sheppard interation. But it wasnt one of my favorites.

Identity i rather liked. i liked Neevus, except WHEN SHE STABBED ZELENKA!! defending herself?? how can she have felt freaking threatened when he was leading her to LIE DOWN!!? she got him with those horrible looking pliers :( but it was horrible when they ended the ep like they did.

I actually thought that Carson felt a bit odd in the ep. Interesting how they brought in that device. Apparently while it is like the device that switched Daniel and Vala into those other two peoples bodies, its not exactly the same which totally makes no sense to me. but whatever.

I think im going to completely love the next ep! im trying not to get my expectations too high but it looks really good. i lpove alternate reality ones and it just looks really good. i want to see that Wraith in makeup! :D

MGM/NBC canceled my show, and Disney just pulled out of working on any further Narnia movies. Both will probably lose a hell of a lot of money. Especially Disney. I don't know what possessed them to make that decision...

I thought Vegas was wonderful! It was interesting that not once did we see our own reality. I loved Rodney (the gum part was my favorite though i found it odd that he didnt mention that he knew John had a brother?), loved how Jinnifer showed up to cover up the report. Felt really bad for this John, all after the incident in Afghanistan. It practically screamed fic. Was he just gonna run away with that money!? Anyway i think Rodney should have taken him on to Atlantis wth him, if he thought he had the same character. Who knows, maybe they saved him in the end :) It was sorta John centered, in a way i absolutely didnt mind, even though i missed Ronon and Teyla, though i suppose that couldnt be helped.

And i liked the set up for the last episode.

I thought the music was really great too!

Plus, for some reason I can't find the eps I missed on youtube...Lol...actually, NOT lol *sobs*

So...they copied/referenced ID4, Apollo 13, totally blew off Chuck and Zelenka at the end, threw in a random ship that was hardly even introduced before, randomly put Sam in charge (w/ fake? hair [color?]) without having her geek out with McKay (which made me sad D:), totally blew off Keller, made Woolsey look awesome, made Todd...um...well he was just Todd, kind of hardly did anything with Teyla, nearly destroyed the city, gave Carson a last moment of glory, and destroyed a hive ship. All in one hour.

It wasn't the best they could do, but it was still really good. I just wish it wasn't ending :( I'm still spamming MGM, though. I don't care if it's stupid; thousands of people are doing it this week so they are going to get sooooo many random postcards with John's picture on the U.S. penny..."In John We Trust" ROFLMHO ...not to mention random boxes of lemondrops from nutsonline.com or something like that. Even if it doesn't work, at least they will know that many fans are incredibly **. Good riddance to them if they don't care; they can just go suck a bunch of lemons, as I may have said before. Like Disney can, for dropping Narnia. Ha. :D

...and at least, with the season over, I can finish my fanfic without having every plotline destroyed by the next week's episode...LOL

OK so the last episode was so sad I almost cried! I didn't want it to end!! but the end was incredibly sweet! I loved it! The only thing that could have made it better was if Liz had been there and John did want Rodney did! And in my world that's what happened!

Oh so that was the girl with Ronon! I've missed a buch of stuff i mean A LOT!!! But like how cool is it that there is an ACTUAL ship ON the show!! Like for real!! I thought for sure they would be danceing around the McKeller or Ronon/Keller (what ever that's called!) FOREVER!! But no!! that's actually amazing lol!!

Well, I would have preferred that they had danced around those ships only. Because when they actually write ships I think the writing just becomes absolutely abysmal. If they can't write it correctly, then leave it out and spare the show.

I know, I was shocked too! And for me, the ship came out of nowhere...I mean, it really did, if you look back to S4. If they'd set it up better, then it might have not bothered me as much, but they didn't, so it REALLY bothered me. Urrgh, continuity issues!

Well, for anyone's that's interested, here's an interesting little tidbit I found out about "Vegas".

Now, if you're like me then you were left absolutely scratching your head when the episode ended and you could not identify the assault rifle the wraith was using. Honestly, it looked like the hybrid love child of a Israeli Tavor and a French FAMAS. Well, as it turns out, the aforementioned rifle is actually a Croatian design called the VHS. And no, I'm not making this up, it really is called the VHS.This is especially interesting because the VHS has yet to go into full-scale production, which means that the SGA crew would have had to get the gun directly from either manufacturer or the Croatian Army itself, since they're doing field trails right now.

The submachine gun used was a comparatively common MP5K.

When Nip Tuck came out there wasn't anything like it on tv. I was the most graphic by far on network television. Now many shows are following in its footsteps. I love the acting they play the perfect roles. I love the storylines they are complex and make my keep watching. It like many shows goes up and down in hoe interesting it is, but it never loses me as a view. I get together will all my girlfriends and a bottle of wine every week to watch this show, and they love it as much as I do. It is one of the only shows that both my guy friends and my girl friends can watch together.

Nip Tuck is really one of my favorite shows, and maybe I was let down because of the high hopes I had waiting for S5:P2 to broadcast.. We are now a few episodes in and, well.. its gotten boring. Much like what was it, season 3.. where everything calms down and theres that strange ending which was apparently mcnameras dream. I dunno. Im extremely disapointed with part 2 of this though. Where is Annie? Where is Sean and Julias son? And what on earth happened to Eden?! And please did I really miss something cause where I left off, Kimber wasnot going to let ANYONE see the baby... now shes just randomly showing up at Christians house?? Wheres the ** guy? Im so lost :(
