Here is a advice.Don't ever watch or read elfen lied if ur parent is around,there is naked girls(Not much) and a lot of blood and gore(Rip head out,body in half).Elfen lied is story about a very special girl and her hatred for humans.The manga make me cry.If you really want to enjoy it,read the manga,then watch the anime.

The Manga is horrible, by what I saw in wikipedia. The anime at leasts gives the image that the ending is better. (See the last episode's scene with Kohta before he turns around and you will see what I mean.

Kid,it's not the ending that make it bad.Elfen lied is a tragic,the manga have a sad ending doesn't make it bad.The anime hint that lucy is still alive,the manga hint that she reborn into someone else along with her alter-ego Nyu.you'll understand what I mean when u r older.
