Moonlight Wolf91I like American Dad too but I haven't been seeing much of it lately... Seen WALL*E yet? No -_- but I really want to see it! My cousin was going to see it the other day with her friends but they canceled the trip. Have you seen it!? | #151 Jul 06th 2008, 4:17pm

ElieareI hardly ever watch TV and I'm really picky with humor, so Family Guy and American Dad aren't my cup of tea. Like I said though, I don't really watch TV, the last time my TV was on was last week and that was cuz I was playing Guitar Hero. I haven't seen Wall-e yet, probably won't unless my friends go. I too sympathize with the heat, we had a break from the 100+ temperatures (they were in the 90s!! yay!) but they're supposed to return to that this week :/ which makes it hard to paint the outside of the house | #152 Jul 06th 2008, 10:19pm

Moonlight Wolf91Speaking of Guitar Hero, I've been practicing with the PS2 remote and I'm pretty good. However, it seems that I now stink at playing with the guitar controller T_T either that or maybe because I used my brother's controller and not my own. Have you played against someone yet? I like to play with my sister since she's just as good as me so it makes it more challenging. I just recently found out that I'll be moving away. I don't know where yet but my mom is looking for a place. Right now, I'm at my dad's house so I can't help with packing up my stuff. But she told me that she had already packed it up so glad that's taken care of. But I don't want to move somewhere far because I want to be able to see my friends. How often do you move? If you've ever moved, that is... | #153 Jul 07th 2008, 3:28pm

LUNAR-W0LFAnyway (This is Random) my grandfather just got open heart surgery today... and later he'll need knee surgery... i'm gonna say he is not in the best of health. | #156 Aug 15th 2008, 9:08am

ElieareI remember when my grandma had open heart surgey, it took over six months to heal but she's doing a lot better, it seriously made a huge difference. Awhile back my grandpa had knee surgey because he was having problems with blood circulation due to clots... he died a year later but it wasn't because of the knee it was the blood clots though. That might not be what you wanna hear, but it's the truth. I hope the surgeries go well | #157 Sep 07th 2008, 1:28pm

Brent-KaIt's late. So late it's now early. Anyways, I just thought the topic could do with a cattle prod. What's everybody a-doin' for thanksgiving? I can't go home so my parents are just going to bring in a webcam and put a laptop in the middle of the dinner table. That way I can still at least socialize with my family... | #158 Nov 23rd 2008, 2:45am

ElieareWell, four of the five of us (includung myself) are sick so we're just staying inside and stuffing our faces ^_^ none of our relatives are coming over cuz: one, they all live in different states and two, they don't want to get our illnesses | #159 Nov 24th 2008, 6:00pm

Brent-KaUgh. Sorry to hear about that. At least you get more food to yourself. | #160 Nov 24th 2008, 6:21pm . Edited Nov 24th 2008, 6:21pm

ElieareHa ha true true. So are you going to a friend's house for food or just making something yourself? | #161 Nov 24th 2008, 7:10pm . Edited Nov 24th 2008, 7:17pm

Brent-KaThe school's giving away a free meal for this one. 'S a good thing, since I can't even make a halfway decent cup of Ramen. Trying to prepare a turkey would be a little dangerous... Ick. I can see it now. "Are you sure I can't just microwave it? Like if I leave it in there for 2 days or something? Let's try that and see how it turns out." | #162 Nov 24th 2008, 8:11pm

ElieareWow, well I guess some people got it and some don't right? I'm having trouble adding chapters to my stories, anyone care to tell me how to get to the My Stories in the new system? I know it's under Publish but after that all I can get to is the Document Manager and the Terms of Service | #163 Nov 27th 2008, 11:52pm

Brent-KaDo you mean you can't see it, or that it won't let you access it? It's working fine on my end anyway. | #164 Nov 28th 2008, 12:28am
ElieareIt must not be letting me access it, I find My Stories but I can't click on it, just highlight it | #165 Nov 28th 2008, 12:31am
Brent-KaHuh. Now just to be absolutely sure, you are clicking the actual link and not just the bar right? (Sorry if that sounded demeaning, but I wanted to make sure.) If you're using ABP or another ad-blocking plugin you may want to disable it. Firefox 3's also hiccuping a bit when it comes to the site, so if you're using that make sure you have the latest beta release. | #166 Nov 28th 2008, 12:34am
ElieareI thought of that, so I scanned it thoroughly and tried clicking on every My Stories had but nothing happens I don't have an ad-blocker and I'm not using Foxfire, I have no clue what's wrong, I'll have to check it throughout the day and see if it's just my internet connection | #167 Nov 28th 2008, 12:41am
Brent-KaI'm not using Foxfire Then what are you using? An outdated browser could be an issue also. Edit- Thought just popped into my mind. Try cut and pasting this into your address bar without the parentheses. (http://www.fanfiction.net/secure/story_tab_list.php) | #168 Nov 28th 2008, 11:59am . Edited Nov 28th 2008, 12:01pm

ElieareThat worked, thank you. So what does that mean? I'm actually not sure what my browser is, if it helps I use dial-up through Juno, I have Juno Platinum. | #169 Nov 28th 2008, 12:18pm . Edited Nov 28th 2008, 12:19pm

Brent-KaIt means you're browser won't open the link, so it's not a connection issue. What's the logo in the upper right hand corner for the browser look like? Is it the Juno logo, the big blue E? Heck, I thought those guys went bankrupt a while ago ^_^ Another edit from Wikipedia- The Juno client software version 5.0 build 33 would not work with Internet Explorer 7. However, by the time Microsoft released the final version of IE7, Juno had released Juno 5.0 build 49, which resolves the issues with IE7 and makes it compatible with Windows Vista. So you can use third party browsers than. I was confused there for a second. You could probably use an update. At least try Firefox and see if anything explodes. If things don't work out just uinstall. (Besides, do you know the level of protection it offers? You almost kind of NEED it.) | #170 Nov 28th 2008, 12:25pm . Edited Nov 28th 2008, 12:27pm

ElieareThe logo is a big blue J I have Sygate Personal Firewall too, I don't know if that will change anything Where do I find Foxfire? | #171 Nov 28th 2008, 12:33pm
Brent-KaHm, that's the Juno client itself. You'd have to start that up first, and than run the browser while it's in the background. And here. (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/?from=getfirefox) Firefox. You know, like the panda. -Edited for typos- | #172 Nov 28th 2008, 12:40pm . Edited Nov 28th 2008, 12:41pm

Brent-KaWorking on the strangest math project ever. I'm supposed to grow 2 plants. I hate one of them, and mollycoddle the other. Actually, it's really working so far. The 'loved' one is doing quite well, while the one I'm supposed to be snarky to seems sad and withered. I kind of feel sorry for it. ^_^; I really don't know why we're doing this in a math class though. | #175 Dec 08th 2008, 12:47pm

Eliearewow that is an odd math project. So that's what college students do in math class: grow plants ^_^ I'm working on a project too, but it's an all year project, I get to write a book. (Which I am thrilled to do cuz I love writing) | #176 Dec 08th 2008, 1:48pm

Brent-KaHey, um...anyobdy still around? This forum is creepy at night when you're by yourself. You can hear the quote brackets rattling in the wind and it scares the ever lovin' crap out of ya. |
ElieareHey Brent it's been a while |
Brent-KaYeah, Christmas, fillin' out about 300 forms working on college loans and becoming an uncle (I feel so weird about it) kinda distracted me from my Fanfictional duties. How've you been? |
Eliearegood, busy, but good so uncle brent huh? it makes you sound a lot older ha ha |
Brent-KaIt just kind of feels all wrong. I ain't got the moustache to be an uncle. Of course now begins the 'influence wars' for the attention of the baby. My brother, the ever so proud Dad bought her a mini-Notre Dame outfit and a 'lullaby CD' with consits of football marches played music box style. I'm saving up for a ton of Sonic plushies to send her way once I get a chance. Poor kid's gonna be confused if this keeps up. ^_^; |
ElieareHa ha eh you'll set the kid straight so what have you been up to besides college stuff and confusing little children you are related to? |
Brent-KaSo, things suck right now. The economy on the brink of collapse means I loose my mooching privellages....(I mean funding. Right. Funding....) and in all likelyhood headed HOME this weekend. Goodbye college, you were nice while it lasted. For the past few days I was in a funk, absolutely certain that I was doomed, my family was doomed, everything that I did would lead to eventual doom and that my future career might as well be picking up soda bottles and cashing them in for the quarters. Than I saw this. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f152/Brent-ka/0f69_1.jpg And suddenly, I stopped worrying. Why? Because I have a goal again, a simple, easy to achieve short term goal, but a goal nontheless- I intend to BUY that coloring book (An exceedingly rare one made about an exceedingly rare movie) and ruin it's collector's value by coloring in it. I guess you just take things one small step at a time. Yikes, I need to get a blog or something, stop venting my frustrations and metaphysical views out on you guys. ^.^; It's getting depressing. |
Brent-KaSO. AWESOME. (http://www.apptism.com/apps/don-bluth-s-banjo-the-woodpile-cat-adventure-game) That settles it. I need an iPhone now. |
Brent-KaWe've been sequel'd! http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/94374-Okami-Sequel-Okamiden-Confirmed |
ElieareYES!!!! Sequel!!!!!!! Hopefully it'll come out when I'm at home, cuz I didn't drag my PS2 with me to college |
Brent-KaIt's on the DS, so no worries if ya got a handheld. |
ElieareYAY!! Although I was stupid and I left it at home :'( my trip home will remedy that though. I wonder if they're going to do what they did for Kingdom hearts, how they had the in between games on the DS and then the other ones on the PS2 |
Brent-KaNot certain. This thing's feeling pretty sequelly though with the main characters being Susano and Kushi's grandson, and one of Ammy's pups. (Or as far as anyone can tell anyway) |
ElieareI watched the trailer for the new Okami, I can't wait for it to be released, has anyone found a date? The only thing I got was that it's due out sometime in 2010... |
Brent-KaClosest I can get is 'circa 2010'. Given that it takes anywhere from 6 months to a year for a game to reach us from Japan (The original Okami made it here 4 months later), I'd bet on this for either sometime during next fall or around Christmas. Japan'll probably get it in early spring if you want to import. |
