So, I'm a Tabby fan. Tabby's my OTP, and since there are so few Tabby stories, as we all know, I was going through the entire archive, hoping to come across some that weren't labeled or didn't have the characters, meaning that I probably hadn't read it before. I found a story, and read it, but now I can't find it again! Will someone help?

The story's plot was this: Ducky (and possibly Abby) hears something over the radio that makes him think Tony has died. Abby is devastated, and Ducky is shocked when the team, and Tony--who's very much alive--returns. They say it must have been a mistake; perhaps a police frequency got crossed and they were talking about a different Tony? Ducky drags Tony to Abby, who is crying because she thinks he's dead.

I think that I found this story while going through the archives. I was searching under these terms: all characters, sort by publish date, complete, English language, romance genre, any length. It would have been on one of those 170 pages if it was there. I think it was a oneshot, and it might have been more Tabby friendship than a relationship. The summary was like "Abby thinks Tony is dead due to a mistake" or something similar. Please help! If you know what this fic is, or even have an idea, please post! I really liked this story and didn't get to finish it before I accidentally deleted my computer history. Thanks so much!

I found the story! It's a really good fic, and it was more Tabby friendship than relationship. Unless, you think--like me--that Abby sobbing her heart out until her face is black from mascara trails implies that she loves him. But the writer doesn't really support Tabby as a relationship, so they put it as friendship. Anyway, it was a great story. Funny thing is, it isn't actually on Fanfiction.net at all... sorry about that! It's on LiveJournal, by the user imaginary_iby and it can be found here:
