Topic: It begins....

(In this roleplay, Michelle doesn't start out dead, and Ivan and Kiara don't come in until later.)

It was another normal day in Wisconsin, or so people thought. Michelle was walking with her younger friend Julia and her cat Sophie. They were headed to school. Julia had just started Middle school and Michelle was in her 3rd year of high school.

The 2 laughed and talked as they headed to school. Sophie stopped and watched them enter their schools. She sighed. She was going to be alone again for a while till the school day ended.

She headed home, which wasn't too far away.

The school day, it seemed to Michelle, seemed to drag on. Then something strange happened. She was in her 5th hour french class, when she heard on the announcements that an intruder drill was being sounded....

Michelle was calm at first thinking that this was just a practice run. That's when she heard a crash from downstairs as if someone had gotten into the building. Feeling uneasy, she and the other kids quickly closed the door to the class and hid and the teacher turned off the lights. From downstairs, Michelle could hear screaming and her heart began to race. One of her friends clung to her in fear. Michelle hugged her trying to calm her.

What she didn't realise is that zombies and a couple other creatures from Umbrella had gotten into the school and were attacking everyone they saw.

Anne looked to her bag, tapping her pencil on the table. Solitary confinement. What was going on in the halls? A ralley? Something stupid, she didnt doubt.

May as well work on her homework. If she ran into the halls, tonfa ready, eyes narrow, battle-worn, she'd attract only laughs.

But still...

She stood up, and peered out the glass panel in the door. When she saw a bloody hand grip the glass, she knew something was off. She grabbed her tonfa, and burst into the hall.

It was then that Anne saw the trouble. Zombies were seen grabbing at the fleeing kids who screamed in fright and in pain. From across the hall a door opened revealing a girl who looked about 15. She peered at the scene and ducked back inside the room as a couple zombies tried to grab her. Just then a blast of energy hit the 2 zombies frying them. Anne and a few other kids turned to see a girl, similar in appearance to the girl that had just ducked inside the classroom. The only difference was that she had sharp teeth and clawed hands. She smirked as she blew smoke off her hand. "No one goes after MY big sister." the girl stated sternly as she eyed the ashes of the 2 zombies.

"Alright.... This is fucked up." Anne whispered, gripping her tonfa tighter.

"This is: Slap me now so I can wake up, fucked up."

"What's it to you?" the girl said looking over at her frowning. "Look out!" she said throwing a blast of energy over Anne's shoulder exploding a zombie's head from one that had snuck up behind her.

"Smartass bitch..." the girl scoffed. Just then she heard the door open, pushing the ashes out of the way. The girl's 15 year old sister peered out at her. "Bo, what are you doing here?" she said clearly annoyed by her unbelievably arrogant 12 year old sister. Bo shrugged. "I'm visting Elvis." she said before slamming her fist absent mindly over her shoulder and into an oncoming zombie's face. Bo's sister sighed and frowned at her little sister. "So, you what? Cut class? AGAIN?" she snapped. "This isn't the time for snappy opinions, sis!" Bo growled before spinning around and delivering a powerful smack to 2 more zombies that were behind her. "Rachel?" a small voice called out from inside the room referring to Bo's big sister. "I-is it safe?" A couple of pure black eyes like you'd see on a tree dweller poked out cautiously from the darkness. "No..Sandra. It's not safe, I suggest you go back into hiding." Rachel told the pair of eyes. The eyes retreated back into the dark sanctuary of the room.

Just then one of the Umbrella lab creatures leapt at Bo and Rachel. Bo just yawned and shoved it back with such force that it was blown back several feet and into a wall, cracking it.

Rachel frowned and looked at Bo. "You're enjoying this aren't you?" she said crossing her arms.

Bo cracked a smug smile. "Actually yes, but you wouldn't know anything about "fun" would you? Oh, yeah, that's right you don't, because you're a worthless bitch!" Bo finished with a hiss raising her clawed hand to strike Rachel, but were interuppted by a couple more lab creatures, including hunters leapt at them. "Can we do this later? This is not the time for childish behavior." Rachel said as she retreated back into the room she'd come out of. "Coward!" Bo snarled.

Michelle cautiously peered out the little window into the hall to see what was happening. Suddenly a bloody body fell in front of the glass. She reered back startled. The other kids started to murmur and let out gasps and whimpers.

In yet another hallway. A boy that looked similar to Bo only he had shaggy brown hair entered the school and looked to see what seemed like a massacre going on. "Shit, this place's fucked up." he utters before strolling down the hall, not even phased by the things around him. He then saw Anne heading for the wing. "Well, maybe she has some idea what's going on..." He ran to catch up with her.

"All I know, this isnt safe. People are getting attacked. I need to get my sister, and get out, you're welcome to come along for the ride."

"Sure." the boy said following after her. "I also have to see if I can find my 3 sisters, Bo, Sandra and Rachel. If this kind of shit is going on, there's no telling what could happen if I don't."

"Mimi? Mimi, are you there?" She called, taking off into a sprint.

The boy shrugged and followed looking down the bloodied hallways and into empty classrooms. "Sandra, Rachel?" he called, then twisted his face up into a look of hate as he called his last sister's name. "Bo? You here bitch?"

A few seconds later he heard what seemed to be whimpering coming from one of the rooms. Hearing it, he stopped quickly, peering into the dark room to see who was there.

"Sibling rivalry?" Anne guessed.

"Mimi! Mimi, are you still here? Mi-" There was a bang, and Anne took off. She slammed through a door, and stared. Mimi was sitting there, surronded by re-dead zombies, covered in ice.

"Hey, Annie."

The boy looked at the zombies that lay dead beside Mimi. "Damn, kid. You're good." he said cracking a smug smile. "The name's Adrian." he introduced. "I don't go to school here yet. I'm only here because my dumbass twin sister cut class and came here to see her boyfriend."

"I'm Miriam Marquez." Mimi stuck out a little hand to shake.

Adrian shook her hand. "Nice to meet you." he said in a polite manner (something he rarely EVER has). He turned and with Mimi, followed after Anne.

Anne put a protective arm around her little sister, and finally spoke up:

"You have their class shedule? We'll find them faster, that way."

(Yeah, I'll add all of them soon. Also some characters from other shows might show up in this RP at some point, besides the OCs. So don't be surprised if you come across Kim Possible or something like that.)

"Well, I'm pretty sure where Rachel and Sandra's 5th hour class is. Bo, I could give a rat's ass about. She can defend herself. Anyways, I think their class is down this next hall."

It was then that he heard someone yelling incoheretly at something and loud explosions being heard. "Oh, that sounds like Bo, to me. Looks like I've found them already." he said with a slight scoff as he acknowledged his badass twin sister.

He headed around the bend and collided into Bo. The 2 glared at each other. "BoVINE." Adrian said insulting his sister. "AdriANNA!" Bo spat back. The 2 of them got in a fighting stance. "Guys," piped Rachel from the doorway. "This is so not the time for you're annual kick-each-other's-asses." she said hugging the shivering pair of black eyes. "We've got to get out of here."

"No kidding. Adrianna? Honey, you could do SO much better!" Anne said, feigning surprise.

"Lets just lose the Even Stevens act and get moving, like the kid says." She added, herding Mimi closer to herself, and feeling a little suspicious about this family.

"Thank you!" Rachel replied. "I was beginning to think I was the only sane person here." she groaned as she picked up the shivering pair of black eyes and stepped into the hall revealing the little bundle known as Sandra. She had bat like ears and looked alot like a deformed Koala with brown fur, lighter patches on her stomach and around her eyes and she had lengthy brown hair that went down to her waist and almost touched her tail. The little oddball creature clung to her sister's neck. "It's okay Sandra." Rachel assured. She then looked at the others. "We should head over to the middle and elementary schools and see if we can find Julia, Evon, Romeo and Leo. If this place is screwed up, no doubt it's just as bad there."

"Oh, man." Rachel said, her face showing worry. "Romeo is probably scared stiff and Evon and Leo can't protect themselves." With that said she started to run for the front doors of the school still holding Sandra in her arms. Adrian glared at Bo. "I'll kick your ass later." he hissed at her before taking off after Rachel. Bo hung back a moment before following. "Jackass." she muttered under her breath.

She nodded, and Anne hugged her closer.

"I wouldnt get involved, honey."

It wasn't long after the 4 siblings left, that someone tore by in front of Anne and Mimi. The girl looked like she was 13. She had blood on her clothes and her hair was a mess. She had green eyes and short brown hair. Anne and Mimi looked to see why she was running and saw a large horde of zombies coming towards them.

Anne's instincts kicked in, and she grabbed the girl's arm, pulling her into a classroom. She pushed a table in front of the door, and begun piling things on it.

The girl was still trying to catch her breath. "Thank you." she gasped.

Michelle was still watching through the door scared. Just then it burst open and a couple hunters and the zombies burst in. Michelle and the other students backed up towards a door in the back of the room. It lead to another class. "Quick!" she said gesturing for the group to go through into the other room. Unfortunately more zombies were waiting in there.

Sandra, Rachel, Bo and Adrian continued to run towards the elementary school. As they did a boy with spiked hair showed up by their side. "How's it, Juan?" Bo said absent mindedly. "Not bad. Still kicking zombie ass. Any word from our little bros?" Juan replied. "That's where we're headed now." Rachel said still running.

At the school a boy that looked a lot like Adrian and another boy that looked just like a younger version of Juan huddled together in the closet of one of the rooms. Romeo, whom looked just like Sandra only he was male and didn't have the long brown hair that hung down to his tail, hid under the teacher's desk, too scared to do anything. Luckily no zombies had spotted them yet, but the rest of the kids were quite unfortunate.

Leslie and Jake burst through the window of the school. Zombies were at the back of the room near a door. Suddenyl the door opened, a some high school students shuffled in to their demise. The zombies quickly clung to them and began their feast. The first few students were immediatly caught, the others pulled back into the other class and closed the door. Cries of pain and agony filed the room as they were devoured. Leslie and Jake fired, bullets ricocheting off the walls. The zombies collapsed, the students were all dead, except for one high school boy. He lay on the floor, his face half eaten. Several bite marks covered him. Leslie shot him in the head. His eyes filled with pain closed. He wouldn't have made it. They headed into the next classroom. They saw some frightened students and a teacher. "Michelle!" Leslie called. Some hunters were making their way in. They fired.

Aaron was slashing zombies with his knife until he was confronted by too many, but his only option of escape was the boiler room, so re ran downstairs. His screams echoed through the building. He ran into the boilder room office and locked the door.

Leslie sprinted towards the door, making a mighty leap. She did a barrel kick across the Hunter's face, but it had no impact. It grabbed her foot and flung her across the room, Leslie falling on a bookself. Jake fired rapidly, trying to suppress the Hunters. "Everyone, back through the door, the zombies are dead!" Jake yelled. The students and teacher ran back out the door they tried to go through before, scremaing at the sights of their fallen classmates. Michelle stayed behind with Leslie and Jake. Jake killed one of the hunters after his bullets ravaged it, but the other was still at full health.

(sorry I had to talk about Michelle staying back, but who knows when Leslie and Jake would run into her again. Since this had nothing to do with Pacific City, pretend they all met somewhere else.

(It's okay. I'm thinking of having my other characters I mentioned earlier meet up with the group very soon too. If you've noticed there's alot of them. :))

Michelle wasn't sure what to do. She hid in the nearest corner behind Leslie and Jake. She was no fighter. All she could do was watch and see what they did next.

The girl Anne had pulled to safety finally caught her breath and looked at Anne. "What ARE those things out there?" she panted. Suddenly a small blur of grey and white fur crashed through the window and landed nearby. "Julia!" It called. "Are you here?" The girl smiled as she recognised the small persian cat known as Sophie. "Sophie! Yes, I'm here. Have you seen Danny?"

Sophie nodded. "Yeah, I think he's still down at the elementary school."

Evon and Leo clung to each other shivering in the closet. A few zombies knocked against the door outside trying to get in. Romeo was still hiding under the teacher's desk. Just then he heard the door to the room crash open and the zombies flooded in. He squeaked in fear and skittered even further under the desk so as to be out of sight completly.

Bo, Adrian, Rachel, Sandra and Juan were just running up the walkway to the school when they heard screams from inside. "Mimi was right. It's worse here." Rachel said looking quite concerned as she grew a tighter grip on her big sister Sandra. Bo & Adrian looked at each other. "Well, it's nothing WE can't handle." Adrian said looking at Bo, who in return nodded. Together they sprinted into the school.

"Be back in no time." they called back to the 3 who remained outside.

(Ok im not going to lie to you guys, but you have WAY too many characters, I cant keep track of who they all are, some are zombies some arnt, its way too confusing)

Aaron had managed the fight back upstairs. He was knocking on the door.

"IS ANYONE IN THERE?"

(Just so you know, he's knocking on the door with Michelle, Leslie, and Jake inside)

Michelle heard someone from on the other side of the door she was nearest to. She heard a boy's frantic voice from on the other side and quickly opened the door for him, revealing Aaron.

(Yes, but she didn't die yet. She still has to die and reanimate a little ways into the story. So, she's not a zombie yet, but she will be later.)

Michelle looked over at Leslie and Jake. Everyone else had fled the room, leaving them alone. "Counting myself....3." Michelle replied.

Aaron went over to the teachers desk, opening the drawer, grabbing the handgun and shooting the hunter in the head a few times until it fell.

"Thanks." Michelle sighed in relief. But she hoped the rest of her friends were safe. All of them were silent for a moment, before Michelle decided to break the ice. "Well, I'm Michelle and that's Jake and Leslie." she said introducing herself and her 2 friends to Aaron.

The door broke, and it feel over.

"Alright, in the duct"

Aaron pushed the teachers desk under the duct and opened the panel.

"You guys go first, ill hold them off since im the only one with a gun"

Michelle hurried inside and waited for the others.

In a classroom on the other side of the school, Sophie and Julia still sat with Anne and Mimi in the classroom. Although stuff was piled in front of the door, the zombies seemed intent on getting in. Sophie shook her head. "That won't hold forever. We should go." she said to the others. Julia nodded. The pounding on the door intensified. "We gotta get out of here and find Danny and the others." Julia said starting to become very nervous with the increasingly loud thudding against the door. Sophie looked out the window and noticed more zombies heading their way. "Damn it!" she cursed then looked at Julia. "They have us boxed in. Our best bet is to get out of the building..." Sophie said then looked over at an air duct in the ceiling. "Through that air vent. Come on, we gotta hurry!" Julia nodded and looked over to Anne and Mimi. "Come on!" she said hurriedly.

Sandra & Rachel stood outside the elementary school with worried looks on their faces. Juan was preoccupied shooting the zombies that were coming towards them. A big explosion was heard inside and moments later, Bo and Adrian reappeared at the entrance with 6 children clinging to them. 3 of which were Evon, Leo and Romeo. Bo ran out with the 6 kids and joined Juan, Rachel and Sandra on the school steps. "Let's go!" she urged.

"What about Adrian?" Rachel asked as she grabbed hold of one of her little brother's hands and ran off with the others. "Don't worry about him...he'll be with us in a moment. He's just going to make sure those dead bastards are exterminated in there."

"Uh, I beg to differ your the only one with a gun," Leslie exclaimed to Aaron while holding up her gun, along with Jake. "But we'll go anyway."
