"Are we almost there?" Eve mumbled weakly. She hadn't opened her eyes once during the entire flight.

:Yeah were here." Sora said as the Fearow's landed.

Eve almost didn't seem to hear him--she remained on the Fearow, her body having locked up from fear long ago.

"Eve?" Sora asked poking her side.

Eve yelped and jumped, falling to the ground.

"Oof!"

Sora returned the Pokemon and knelt next to her, "You OK?"

Eve gave a tiny nod. "I-I'm just not that used to birds bigger than Wanabi..." she said shakily.

Sora helped her up, "Lets get inside."

Eve gratefully took his hand and pulled herself up. "Is the house nearby?"

"Eh...no idea." Sora sweat dropped.

Eve stared at him. "Do you even know what it looks like?"

"Nope." Sora shook his head.

Eve sighed. "Then how are we supposed to find it, doofus?"

Sora looked around before leaning toward her ear. "Well I know for a fact that...its a house."

Eve palmed her forehead and looked up at the sky, sighing again.

Sora began to look around.

Another thought came to Eve. "Are you sure the house is even in this town?"

"That I do know is true." Sora said with a nod.

"Thank Arceus. So we're not just here on a whim?"

"Nope." Sora said grinning before leading her off.

Eve looked about her as she let Sora lead her. The town certainly seemed quiet and peaceful enough...was it possible that they had finally found a safe haven?

Sora suddenly went running toward a house and kicked down the door. He disappeared inside, 10 seconds later he came flying out of the house with a pan indent on his face.

Eve stared at the indent on his face. "Maybe it's time I introduce you to a good friend of mine. It's called knocking."

"Aw come on I was just having fun." Sora said as another pan whapped him upside the head.

"Suuuure." Eve took his hand and pulled him off down the street before he could get hit again.

Sora was babbling, two large bumps on his head.

Eve slowed and looked back at him. "Please tell me you did not just lose your senses..."

"Oh when did clouds start dancing?" Sora said, circles in his eyes.

Eve stood in front of Sora and forced him to look her in the eye. "Sora, come on! Snap out of it!"

"So pretty." Sora said grinning up at her.

Eve felt her face heat up in a blush. "Don't make me have to slap you awake..."

(...he's gunna go into 'crazy/lovey-dovey' mode, isn't he?)

"But you are so pretty."

{Wheren't we going to do Hank and Hale?}

(Oh, yeah...I think Hale was gunna try and kill Terron one last time?)

Eve tried to ignore the blush creeping up her face and neck. "Then I do this for your own good.." she muttered, before raising her hand in preparation to slap him across the face.

"Oooh don't hit me my love." Sora said before reaching up and kissing her lips. He pulled his back and gave a smile.

Eve turned red as a cherry and nearly fell over backwards, stunned. A few seconds later, though....

CRACK! Her palm slapped him square on the cheek.

Sora went into chibi form nad waved his arms to the side, water fall tears streaming down. "Oooh Eve-kun your so cruel!" he sniffled.

Eve rolled her eyes to the heavens. "Great...now I have to find a bucket of ice water to dump over you, don't I...?"

Still in chibi mode Sora began to run around in circles sobbing loudly.

Eve sighed and picked him up before carrying him off down the street.

Chibi Sora held out an arm still sobbing.

{Oh this is fun.}

Eve looked down at him. "Please, I didn't even slap you that hard. Can you stop crying, please?"

"No!" Sora said with a loud sob.

She set him down on the ground. "Bye, random and overemotional stranger I do not know." She turned and started to walk away.

Sora watched her, waterfall tears still falling down.

After a moment Eve slowed to a stop, twitched, and turned to face him. "You know, you're really making me feel like a coldhearted jerk right now..."

"Thats because you are!" Sora yelled.

The blood drained from Eve's face. It felt as though she had just been punched in the stomach.

Sora blinked a few times, "I was kiding!" he said getting up and running over to her.

Eve turned her back. "It sure didn't sound like that," she said in a low, bitter voice, before making to walk away.
