TrisakAminawnIt rather does...and it doesn't... I think the bathrobe was actually a yukata; made Tsuzuki look more like a dead guy... (Back when Japanese people were buried regularly, they were buried in white yukata; so the classic image of a ghost in Japan is a footless person in a white yukata with one of those headbands with a triangle on it. I haven't worked out the headband. Anybody know?) Muraki's a sensualist and he likes Tsuzuki's body, so of course he'd give him a final going-over before killing him, in addition to the reasons cited above. He's insane--he can't even decide whether he loves Tsuzuki or not (and contrary to popular belief, this can be very hard, even if the person he really loves most is Ukyou. He's been attached to the idea of Tsuzuki since he was a kid; come on, that's something.) He's got wildly fluctuating opinions. He even blames Saki for 'destroying his family' while acknowledging calmly that he killed his mother himself. I also have a fanfic set during the time Muraki was changing Tsuzuki's clothes. Read it, give me an opinion? |
